The chime of the doorbell echoed through the Bangtan House, pulling Namjoon out of his frustrated thoughts. Still fuming from the prank that had thrown his morning into chaos, he made his way to the door with a mix of curiosity and lingering irritation. He barely had time to smooth his expression when he pulled the door open to reveal Jennie and Jisoo standing there, bright smiles lighting up their faces.
"Namjoon!" Jisoo greeted, her eyes sparkling as she stepped forward, wrapping him in a hug. There was a warmth in her tone that felt calming, grounding him in the way only friends could.
Jennie followed, offering a quick but sincere hug. "Hey, leader," she teased, catching the flicker of frustration in his eyes. "Rough morning?"
He chuckled, the weight of his irritation lifting just a bit. "You have no idea," he admitted, leading them into the spacious living room where sunlight streamed through the large windows, illuminating the cozy chaos of their shared home. The familiar scent of snacks and the faint sound of laughter drifted in from other rooms.
As they settled onto the plush couch, Jisoo glanced around, taking in the vibrant, lived-in feel of the place. "You guys really need to clean up sometimes," she teased, nudging a stray shoe out of her way with her foot. Namjoon couldn't help but notice how her nose crinkled in that adorable way when she teased someone.
"Hey, this is part of our charm," Jin said, entering the room with a tray piled high with snacks. He set it down with a flourish, grinning proudly at Jennie and Jisoo. "Gourmet delights, straight from the kitchen. Help yourselves."
Without missing a beat, Jennie dove into the array of treats, her eyes lighting up with delight. "You always know how to win us over, Jin," she said through a mouthful of chips, earning a round of laughter from everyone.
"Just doing my part for world peace," Jin replied, waving his hands dramatically before plopping down on a nearby chair.
Jimin made his grand entrance in the living room-already whining about the morning's events—Namjoon felt the atmosphere shift from his earlier annoyance to something more relaxed as everyone settled down.
Jimin quickly started recounting the mishaps, "So, who's responsible for that catastrophe?" Jimin leaned forward, crossing his arms with an exaggerated look of suspicion on his face. "I demand answers!"
Jisoo raised an eyebrow, her lips curling into a smirk. "I think we all know who's behind it. They just can't help themselves."
"Me? Never!" Jin feigned innocence, placing a hand over his heart dramatically. The laughter that erupted in response was infectious, but it only fueled Jimin's playful indignation.
"C'mon! Whoever it is, I'm going to have words with them!" Jimin declared, his tone half-serious, half-joking.
Just then, Jennie nudged Jisoo, exchanging a knowing glance. "Speaking of troublemakers, I think I need to go check on someone," she said, her voice slightly mischievous.
"Yoongi?" Namjoon guessed, recalling how their grumpy friend had stormed off after the morning's debacle.
"Yep! I think he needs some company," Jennie replied with a wink, already halfway to the door.
Jimin's eyes widened, and he let out an exaggerated groan. "But Jennie, you were supposed to help me!" He pouted, throwing an arm over the back of the couch.
"Sorry, Jiminie. You're on your own," Jennie shot back playfully, sticking her tongue out at him as she walked away.
Laughter bubbled up again, filling the room as Jimin sank back into the cushions, mock-defeated but still grinning. "I can't believe this! Abandoned for a grumpy rapper!"
"Don't take it personally," Jisoo said, leaning back and throwing an arm over Jimin's shoulder. "You'll always have us."
"Yeah, your loyal fans," Jin added, pretending to swoon. "We're all here to support your tragic story."
As the room erupted in more laughter, Namjoon found himself glancing at Jisoo, who was laughing with the others. Her eyes sparkled with joy, and he felt something unfamiliar spread through him.
There was something about the way she laughed that made everything else fade away, the chaos of pranks and mischief suddenly feeling far less important.
In that moment, Namjoon caught Jisoo's gaze across the room. Their eyes met, and for a brief second, the laughter faded into the background. There was an unspoken understanding between them, a hint of something deeper lingering just beneath the surface. He felt his heart race as he held her gaze, feeling a sense of warmth that wasn't just about friendship. It was more—something he had been trying to decipher for a while now.
"You need to find your bicycle pedals, right?" Jisoo asked, her voice breaking the spell. Her eyes twinkled a little.
Namjoon couldn't help but smile at her playful demeanor. "Yeah," he said, his tone light. "Won't you help me?"
"Always," Jisoo replied, a soft smile curving her lips, and Namjoon found himself returning the gesture.

Jennie leans against the doorframe of the balcony where the pink haired man was. She watched him sulk in his chair and sigh every 10 seconds.
A smile appeared on her face.
Every single time the two would be together, Jennie would think of him as the most annoying human to ever step foot on Earth. His constant snarky comments irritated the heck out of her. She never thought she'd meet a person who'd match the level of sarcasm she had.
But she was so wrong.
Not only was he as sardonic as she was, she would also admit that he was a little better than her at that. Just by a tad bit.
But better.
She found herself oddly drawn to Yoongi's quiet intensity, even though he could drive her up the wall with a single glance or a perfectly timed quip.
Jennie slowly approached Yoongi, her steps light as if not to disturb his brooding. "You know, sulking doesn't suit you," she teased, leaning over the balcony railing next to him.
Yoongi didn't look at her but let out another exaggerated sigh. "I'm not sulking," he retorted, though his tone was far from convincing.
"Oh, really?" Jennie smirked, her eyes gleaming with mischief. "Because from where I'm standing, it looks like you're having a pity party of one. Mind if I join?"
Yoongi finally turned to her, his eyes narrowing slightly. "You could've just stayed inside and helped Jimin with his whining."
"And miss out on this?" Jennie gestured to his disheveled pink hair, the corners of her mouth twitching as she struggled to keep a straight face. "You know, pink is totally your color."
Yoongi rolled his eyes, though a hint of a smile tugged at his lips. "Don't start, Jennie."
"Come on, Yoongi. You have to admit, it was kind of funny," Jennie said, her tone softening. "And you do look... cute."
"Cute?" Yoongi almost choked on the word. "If you're trying to make me feel better, you're doing a terrible job."
"Who said I was trying to make you feel better?" Jennie shot back, her grin widening. "I'm just here to enjoy the show."
Despite himself, Yoongi chuckled, shaking his head. "You're impossible."
Jennie beamed at him. She hadn't expected to enjoy Yoongi's company this much, but there was something about their banter, their shared sarcasm, that felt comfortable.
"Well who do you think did it?" Jennie asked.
Yoongi stared at her for a beat, then said, "Rosie did it. I'm very sure."
"Rosie!?"
"Uh-huh."
"You're wrong."
Yoongi shrugged, "I'm telling you, it's her."
Jennie thinned her lips, her tone soft, "Well whatever it is, only I call her Rosie."
And Yoongi sighed for the 100th time in her presence. Shaking his head in exasperation.
"So," Jennie said after a moment, "are you going to stay out here and mope all day, or are you going to come inside and plot your revenge? Whether it's Rosie or not."
Yoongi looked at her, a spark of mischief returning to his eyes. "Revenge, huh? You offering to help?"
Jennie raised an eyebrow. "Maybe. Depends on how good your plan is."
Yoongi leaned back in his chair, the wheels in his head already turning. "Oh, I think I can come up with something... with a little help."
"Shoot."
His eyes shone with excitement, "We could wrap her... their room in plastic wrap," Yoongi smirked, changing the pronouns at Jennie's glare.
"Okay, that's good," Jennie replied, nodding with approval. "But we need more."
Yoongi rolled his eyes, "Maybe we could tie them up with a bunch of ribbons and make them the centerpiece for our prank party."
Jennie laughed again, the sound light and melodic. "Now you're talking! And we do always have the classic toothpaste in Oreos!"

As they searched the house together, Jisoo was surprised by how much she enjoyed the scavenger hunt. She opened cupboards and drawers, feeling a childlike thrill at the prospect of uncovering the hidden pedals. "This feels like a treasure hunt!" she exclaimed, holding up an old pair of socks she'd found tucked away. The laughter that followed from Namjoon was pleasing.
When they ventured outside to check the garden, she noticed how the sunlight bathed everything in a golden glow. It felt magical, and for a brief moment, she allowed herself to get lost in the serene atmosphere. Namjoon's voice broke her reverie as he spoke about his love for biking.
"I really love my bike. It's kind of my escape, you know?" he said, his tone thoughtful. She could hear the passion in his voice, and it resonated with her.
"I get that. Sometimes you need a break from everything," she replied, genuinely feeling the weight of his words. It was nice to share that moment of understanding, like they were connecting on a deeper level.
They continued their search, moving toward the garage, and when Namjoon opened the door, the sight before them made Jisoo burst into laughter. There, lying on a workbench, were his bicycle pedals—painted a bright, shimmering gold.
"Golden pedals? That's next-level!" she exclaimed, her laughter ringing out in delight. Namjoon shook his head, still smiling, and she felt a thrill of victory at having discovered the prank.
As they headed back inside, Namjoon carried the pedals. "You know, Jisoo, you're pretty fun to hang out with," he remarked, and her heart fluttered a bit. "I didn't expect you to be so into this search."
She grinned back at him, her cheeks slightly hued with something. "Well, I like helping out. Plus, I get to hear you talk about your bike like it's your first love. It's kind of adorable," she teased, relishing the light-hearted banter.
"Yeah, well, I'm a bit of a bike nerd," he admitted, shaking his head in that endearing way he always did.
"There are worse things to be nerdy about," she replied playfully, nudging him gently.
As they walked through the kitchen, Jisoo felt a thrill of electricity when their hands brushed against each other. Time seemed to freeze, and for a moment, they locked eyes, a spark of something unspoken passing between them. It was a fleeting moment, but it left her feeling a bit breathless.
Jisoo quickly cleared her throat, breaking the tension that hung in the air. "So, fried chicken for lunch?" she suggested, hoping to ease the awkwardness that lingered.
"Fried chicken sounds perfect," Namjoon agreed, and she couldn't help but smile at the idea of sharing a meal with him.
As they moved to the kitchen to prepare the meal, Jisoo felt a subtle shift in the air, a sense of familiarity.
What had started as a lighthearted quest to find his bike pedals had transformed into something deeper. The laughter and connection they shared felt like the beginning of a beautiful friendship, perhaps something more, woven together by their shared moments and the joy of being in each other's company.

Jisoo, Namjoon, Jennie, Yoongi, and Jin step outside, their laughter still echoing from the earlier prank. The sun is shining bright, illuminating Jimin standing beside his car, which is a riot of neon sticky notes. His arms are crossed, and an exaggerated pout is plastered across his face.
"Hey, Jimin!" Namjoon calls, grinning widely. "I think your car is having a colorful identity crisis!"
Jimin throws his head back dramatically. "This isn't funny! Look at my poor car! Do you know how long it's going to take to peel these off?"
The group bursts into laughter, but they quickly rally to help him. Jisoo snatches a green sticky note off the hood, grinning at Jimin. "At least it's a nice pop of color. You should thank whoever did this for the aesthetic upgrade."
"Yeah, Jimin, embrace the art!" Jennie chimes in, pulling off a bright orange note.
Jimin sighs, half-heartedly chuckling. "Great. So now I'm a walking art installation?"
Yoongi smirks as he removes a purple note. "More like a modern art masterpiece. What do you think, Jin? Should we submit him to an art gallery?"
Jin rolls his eyes, shaking his head. "No, no, it's too mainstream. We need something edgy."
"So, who do you think is behind this prank?" Jisoo asks, glancing sideways at Namjoon.
"I wouldn't be surprised if it's Chaeyoung or Lisa. They have that innocent facade, but I know Chae's a mastermind, and Lisa can easily be devil's own child. " Namjoon replies with a laugh.
"True!" Jisoo laughed, "But I think it's Jungkook and Taehyung," she countered. "They have that wild streak. Plus, they're always up to something!"
"Okay, but what about Jin?" Jennie suggests, nudging Jin playfully. "He hasn't been pranked at all. What if he's the one behind it?"
Jin gasps in mock horror, raising his hands dramatically. "Me? The oldest, most responsible member? How could you accuse me of such treachery!"
"Because you're the most likely suspect!" Jimin pipes up, a smirk creeping onto his face. "You've been suspiciously quiet."
"Quiet? I'm just focused on being the mature one here!" Jin exclaims, feigning seriousness.
"More like focused on your hair products," Yoongi retorts, earning a round of laughter from the group.
"I'll have you know, my hair is vital to my image!" Jin replies, putting a hand to his chest in mock indignation.
Jisoo chuckles, shaking her head. "But really, Jin. Were you involved in this at all? Because if you were, you need to step up your prank game."
Jin looks hurt, placing a hand over his heart. "You're all breaking my heart! How could I prank my own group? I'm innocent until proven guilty!"
"Is that what they all say?" Namjoon teases, raising an eyebrow. "You're just playing the long game, waiting for your moment to strike."
"Yeah, like a sneaky little raccoon!" Jisoo adds, laughter bubbling up again.
Jin huffs, shaking his head defiantly. "You guys are ridiculous! Just because I'm not covered in sticky notes or have my hair dyed pink or have my non-existant bicycle's pedals stolen doesn't mean I'm behind this. You're all just looking for someone to blame!"
"Sure, keep telling yourself that," Jennie laughs, still peeling off notes.
"Yeah, we'll see about that," Namjoon says, chuckling as he tosses a sticky note into the air.
As they continue peeling off sticky notes, the playful banter makes the task feel less like a chore. Eventually, they finally free Jimin's car from its vibrant prison.
"Okay, fine," Jimin concedes, a genuine smile breaking through his earlier annoyance. "Maybe this wasn't so bad after all."
Namjoon pats him on the back. "See? It's all in good fun! Now, how about we reward ourselves with some food?"

Taehyung, Chaeyoung, and Jungkook step out of the HYBE building, the evening air wrapping around them as the sun sets, casting a golden hue over the bustling city. The three friends pile into Taehyung's car, the mood buoyant and energetic as they reminisce about the recent prank that had everyone buzzing.
Taehyung takes the wheel, his face beaming with satisfaction, while Chaeyoung sits beside him, her eyes sparkling with excitement. In the back seat, Jungkook tries to maintain his usual aloofness, but the smirk on his lips betrays his enjoyment.
"That was incredible," Taehyung exclaims as he navigates through the city streets. "The way we pulled off that prank—it was perfect!"
Chaeyoung glances at him, her smile widening. "I know, Tae Tae! Your idea with the golden bicycle pedals was pure genius. We really threw them off their game."
Jungkook, listening quietly, suddenly interjects, his tone laced with playful annoyance. "Yeah, and let's not forget my sticky notes. I think I did a pretty good job too!"
Taehyung catches Jungkook's gaze in the rearview mirror, still grinning. "Oh, absolutely, Kookie. The sticky notes were a great touch. But I've got to admit, Chae Chae really stole the show."
Chaeyoung laughs, nudging Taehyung playfully. "And here we go with the praise again! But thanks, Tae Tae. It was a blast working with you."
Jungkook rolls his eyes, but the hint of a smile lingers on his lips. "Sure, sure. Just don't start acting like this is the 'Chae Chae and Tae Tae Show.'"
Chaeyoung leans back in her seat, and looks at him over her shoulder, smirking. "Oh, don't worry, Kookie. We'll reserve you a seat right next to the stage. Where everyone can see how grumpy you get when you're not the center of attention."
"Don't kookie me, Chaeyoung," Jungkook huffed.
"Would you rather I call you International Playboy?" Chaeyoung drawls with heavy emphasis on the nickname.
Jungkook groans in response.
Taehyung chuckles heartily, the sound infectious. "Come on, Kookie. You know we couldn't have done it without you. But seriously, Chae Chae really brought that extra spark to the whole thing with the planning and ideas."
Chaeyoung turns slightly in her seat, her gaze meeting Jungkook's through the rearview mirror. In that moment, a quiet understanding passes between them. Jungkook's grumpy demeanor softens, and he nods thoughtfully. "Well, you're not wrong. It was a solid team effort."
Chaeyoung's smile widens, and she holds Jungkook's gaze a second longer. "I'm glad you think so. Your sticky note idea was definitely unforgettable."
Jungkook's expression brightens, a genuine smile breaking through. "Thanks! I guess it was pretty fun after all."
Noticing the shift in mood, Taehyung grins mischievously. "See? Teamwork makes the dream work!"
As they drive, a more serious tone settles in the car. Jungkook furrows his brow, glancing out the window. "So, what happens now? Do we come clean about the pranks?"
Rosé leans back, contemplating. "I mean, we could. But do we really want to deal with the fallout? Our friends might be mad."
Taehyung nods, his smile fading slightly. "Yeah, but it was all in good fun. They'll probably laugh it off eventually, right?"
Jungkook smirks, warming up to the idea. "Jimin will definitely have a meltdown about us having him be the object of fun."
Chaeyoung giggles at the thought, "But honestly, I don't think they will get too upset."
