Chapter 2 - Just another day in the world we live
I sat down with a sigh at my desk, pressing the on button on my MacBook Pro. "Please open Google Docs, and start working on your essay. It is due on Friday." said the teacher. When the apple loading symbol finally went away, I looked at my familiar backdrop of mountains.
But.
Why was there a necklace floating in the sky?
I reached out my hand hesitantly, and looked around. No one seemed to notice. I didn't know why, but I reached out and touched the beautiful silver necklace that had a charm of a little silver dragon with emerald eyes.
It could of either been my worst decision ever, or my best.
I gasped as a sharp shock went through my arm. "Ow." I mumbled. Then I looked back at my screen.
The necklace was gone.
And it was now in my hand. Shaking, I raised my other hand and asked to go to the bathroom. Mrs. T/N (teacher's name) waved me off. Once I was in a stall in the girl's bathroom, I locked the door and glared fiercely at the necklace. First I meet some guys that give me déjà vue, now this necklace. What is going- my thoughts were interrupted by an echoing, dark voice saying, "I wouldn't do that if I were you."
I looked and saw a boy about my age with onyx black hair, piercing violet eyes, and ivory colored skin. He smiled at the surprised look on my face. "I'm Morro." he said.
Wait.
Wait.
Wait.
Wait!!!
Then, I fainted.
Morro's P.o.v
I sighed, and grabbed the helpless girl. I had a feeling she knew me.
Well, if I wanted to get those idiot 'ninja' out of this school, I'm gonna need her. I picked her up. She was extremely light. With one hand, I took my map of the school out of my pocket and glanced at it, then walked down the hall to the infirmary.
Y/N's P.o.v
My eyes fluttered open. The first thing I noticed was that I was in one of the beds in the nurses' office.
And that the same dude... Morro... was sitting in a chair next to me, looking bored.
Oh, and that I was wearing a skimpy hospital dress with only my bra and underwear under it.
Great. Just great.
"I do apologize to scaring you, Y/N. I never believed you would faint." He held out the same emerald necklace to me. I grabbed it, pointedly glaring at him. He smirked. "I don't really approve of them letting me wait here. You never know what dirty things I could do to you in here."
The expression on my face was probably priceless, because he laughed.
"I'm joking, joking! Don't worry!" I slapped him on his cheek.
"Well, then, you have a rubbish sense of humor." I got up, and tried to walk away, but he grabbed my arm.
"Who said you could go without a proper invitation." he smirked.
"You know my name, and I know yours. Morro, correct?" He nodded. Morro. Why do I know that name?! These new boys are kinda freaky.
"And, you are Y/N L/N." he cut me off again! Rude! "Pleased to meet you Lady Y/N." He kisses my fingers.
I think you've got the wrong century.
Morro, huh.
