Thaovy screams as she looks through the results. Feliciano and Sebastian stare at her and in worry. They see tears exiting from her eyes, believing it's a bad sign.

"Vy, are you okay?" Sebastian asks.

She looks at them and laughs as she wipes her tears. "Nah, I'm fine."

Feliciano doesn't believe her. "You don't look fine!"

"Trust me, I am," she assures the Italians. "I'm just so freaking happy."

"What do you mean?" The younger Italian inquiries.

"I made in Honor Band for All-District," the Texan answers them. "I am so happy on how much I've improved since last year."

"What does it mean to you, Thaovy?" Feliciano curiously asks.

Her eyes meet theirs in disbelief. "Haven't I explained his to you weeks ago? I made a goal to make Honor Band. I wasn't sure if I was going to be in first chair, but fifth chair is fine enough. Besides, it also means that I have been improving and actually wanting to do this so badly! Last year, I made first chair in Concert Band, which is the last band in All-District! This year I'm in Honor Band, which is the top band in All-District. I've become one of the best clarinetists in the whole district! I'll just have to practice harder in order to make first chair in All-Region auditions next Saturday!"

"Well congratulations, Vy," Sebastian cheers, remembering those little speeches from Thaovy weeks ago. "You deserve to be in the top band."

Feliciano agrees. "Yeah, Thaovy! I would also like to congratulate you!"

Thaovy's cheeks tint a bright pink. "Aww, thanks guys. You don't know how much this means to me, but I'll tell you why!"

"What is it?" Feliciano urges her to continue.

Thaovy thinks before speaking. "One, I really want to be one of the best clarinetists and show off what a tiny Vietnamese girl can do. Two, I just wanna hang out with my friends since now most of them are in Honor Band. Three, I just want to skip a whole day of school and miss their crappy lunch for the clinic. I hate that the clinic's not until freaking January! Like, what is even up!?"

She walks out as she mutters her thoughts out loud, leaving the two Italians in wonder and a bit of shock.
