"There you go." Vergil said as he settled Nero on the couch in the living room of his house,
"I'll take these to your room." Dante said and went upstairs to his nephew's room, Nero smiled lightly before remembering Dante isn't going to get his container back, he left it at the tree house. Vergil handed his son the T.V. remote and said "Let me know if you need anything." Nero smiled and said "Thanks, dad." He turned on the T.V. and went to Netflix, the T.V. being the ones that have it.

Nero scanned for a bit before finding an interesting movie, The Houses That October Built. The teen smiled and pushed the play button. Dante soon came downstairs and looked at the T.V. for a second before asking his nephew "What are you watching?" Nero smiled and said "The houses That October Built." Dante watched the little screen showing the rating and then saw the beginning of the movie. It's showing little news clips of people talking about haunted houses. Dante was kind of Interested in watching, so he walked over to Nero, he moved him a bit and sat down, placing the teens broken leg on his lap so it was elevated. He turned his attention to the T.V. and watched the movie with his nephew.

Dante was enjoying it until one news clip showed a guy talking about how they have actual human remains in their haunted house. He turned to face Nero and said "You sure you should be watching this?" Nero shook his head but smiled, saying "There is no way dad would let me watch this, so I'm gonna watch what I can now and watch the rest late at night when he's asleep."
"You gonna talk to your dad about to stop treating you like a kid?"
"No, no."
"Looks like while you were by yourself in the tree house, trying to stay warm and having only junk food, you missed your dad and missed the way he treated you like a kid. After all, you're only young once, better enjoy it while you can." Dante said with a light smile. Nero let out a slight sigh of sadness, he turned his attention towards his uncle and said "Yeah, I didn't realize how much I missed it all until that rainy night when I was struggling to stay warm. I remembered one night last winter, when we lost power and heat. Dad dressed me in a thick sweatshirt and sweatpants and had me sleep in his bed with him to stay warm, he held me close throughout the entire night to make sure I would be warm the entire time. At the time it only irritated me and I didn't appreciate it. But that night at the tree house, I appreciated it and wished dad was with me so I could stay warm." Dante smiled and said "Well now you're home again, and there is no way we're letting you leave again." The two boys turn their attention to the movie again, it showed these masked men putting a woman in the trunk of a car. It says the movie is made of found footage.

Vergil was behind the corner, he didn't mean to eavesdrop, he was going to ask Nero what he wanted for lunch, but when he heard what they were talking about, he had to listen in, and he smiled at what he heard his son say. Vergil walked back into the kitchen, he was going to make Nero's favorite lunch. He grabbed bread from the bread box, bacon, tomatoes, and medium cheddar cheese from the fridge to make bacon and tomato grilled cheese sandwiches. He then grabbed eggs, mayonnaise, and mustard from the fridge to make deviled eggs, Nero had them when he was younger when Vergil took him over to his friends house. Vergil's friend made deviled eggs for his two sons and Nero to snack on while the adults talked, ever since he tasted them, they became his favorite snack. Plus they are easy to make.

As soon as he finished making lunch, he walked in with two plates, handing one to his son and one to his brother. He saw the movie and said "You shouldn't be watching this, get out of it."
"Okay, dad." Nero said and did as told. Vergil smiled at his obedience, usually he puts up a fight, but now he isn't.
"Okay, you can watch the movie. But only this one." Vergil said, Nero smiled and said "Thanks, dad." he put the movie back on and kept watching. Vergil sat down on the couch and watched it with him and Dante. Nero looked down at his plate and smiled at what was on it. He took one of the deviled eggs first and ate it slowly.

Nero's eyes went wide at the end of the movie. He quickly calmed his expression so Dante and Vergil wouldn't see it. Dante stood up and took care of his and Nero's plate, heading into the kitchen while saying "That was a good movie." Vergil stood up and was about to head into the kitchen with Dante but Nero said "Dad, I'm thirsty, can you grab one of my sodas from my backpack, please?" Vergil nodded and said "I'll put the rest in the fridge." Nero sighed in relief when he left and released a shiver he had been holding back. The movie terrified him, there is no way in hell he is ever going to a haunted house now.

He heard his father and uncle doing the dishes, so they'll be occupied for a bit. Nero exited Netflix and watched regular T.V. ,  SpongeBob was playing, the episode was 'The Graveyard Shift' Vergil came back in the room and handed his son his soda, he looked at the T.V. and smiled when he saw SpongeBob. He patted Nero's head and went back into the kitchen. Nero sighed lightly, not in anger or anything like that, it was a sigh of content. As he sipped his soda, he thought about all his problems, he needs to work them out, but he isn't sure if he should have his dad help him through them.

He could have Dante help him out, but he really should have Vergil help him. He's his father, father's are supposed to help their kids. Nero was still so unsure, he isn't used to asking his dad for help, but Vergil would probably be the best choice for helping him out. Nero sighed, conflicted on what to do. He wasn't even sure on how to bring it up. He sipped his soda one more time before setting it down and putting his head back, he'll figure this out tomorrow.

Nero intended to take a nap, but then Vergil and Dante came in the room and the younger of the two said "They already have haunted houses up and going. Wanna go to a few?" Nero smiled and said "Sure." When really he wanted to say no. He didn't want to appear scared because of two reasons: he would seem like a scared kid because of a horror movie, and his father would never let him watch another horror movie again. 

Nero grabbed his crutches and stood up slowly, having a bit of difficulty seeing as he has never used crutches before. Nero walked unsteadily and his uncle and father were immediately at his side, helping him out. They helped him to the door and Nero tried to go down the steps himself, which ended in him falling down them. He bit back a cry as he landed on his bad leg. Dante immediately helped him stand and gave him his crutches while Vergil reached into his pocket and pulled out a bottle of ibuprofen. He took a pill and handed it to Nero, who just looked at the pill, he can't take pills dry. Dante handed him the bottle of root beer he had been drinking so he could take them.

Nero quickly took the pills and tried to make it to the car, but after two steps Dante scooped him up in his arms and carried him to the car while his father carried the crutches.
"I can walk!" Nero whined,
"I just watched you try to walk and it wasn't impressive." Dante said and set his nephew in the back seat of Vergil's car. Vergil got in the drivers seat while Dante rode shotgun. Vergil immediately started driving and Nero immediately started worrying. The Houses That October Built was found footage and the Blue Skulls in the movie are an actual group with an actual haunted house. Nero just gripped the seat and hoped that when they got to the haunted houses, they wouldn't die.
