I watched as Alexander followed the boss into the kitchens. He gave me a small smile, but I knew it was fake. A moment later, I heard the shout of our boss saying 'Go home'. I gasped. This poor guy! What did he do? Hes like, the best waiter here! I watched Alexander come out of the kitchens.

He looked so miserable. I understand, at the start of break he lost two jobs, now he lost his one job that was going really well for him. I walked up towards him, but he was already walking out the door.

"Alexander!" I shouted after him as he walked outside.

I pushed through the doors and looked around for him. He was getting inside an Uber.

"Alexander!" I said again, but the car door was already shut and he was being driven away.

I thought about taking my own car to chase him, but I didn't want to loose my own job. No. Alexander. He was so happy, and kind. He was the best employee. Now hes gone. He was one of the main reasons I work here. To spend time with him, because even though I barely know him, He's already someone who means more to me then my friends. Sorry Laf, its true. I thought as if I was talking to my friends.

I turned around and walked back inside to be greeted by a fuming boss.

"Get back to work!" He said angrily.

"Y-yes s-s-sir," I said, walking quickly away.

The Uber driver dropped me off outside a mall. I figured I'd try one more place. If I fail here, I'm starting my own business! Yeah! Actually, that might be illegal 'cause I never went to business school.... But I don't know. Maybe I WILL take a business school course. I walked inside the overpopulated mall.

I was going to try something different. A shoe shop. It sounded easy. I get paid less then Crave for sure, but at least its a job so I can afford my life. I entered a shoe store, and talked with the counter person. They made me fill out a weird paper thing, and then let me join.

Perfect, that was only ten minutes.

Now I sat around, playing Cat Condo 16, waiting for a customer to arrive. After half an hour, someone finally entered the shop. My fellow employee left to take a break, so I was alone. The person walked up to the counter.

"OH MY GOD ITS YOU!" They shouted.

I looked up at them, until I realized it was one of Johns friends. They where the one who shook my hand in the Crave, and introduced themselves as Lafayette.

"You really keep jumping around jobs," Lafayette commented.

"Yeah, and you randomly keep appearing wherever I work," I smiled.

"I just got a text a minute ago from John saying you where fired. Hes really worried, you know. He wants to talk to you," Lafayette said.

"I'm fine. Anyway, what brings you to this store?" I asked. He was worried about me? Is that true?

"I just saw you through the window and had to make sure it was you," Lafayette said.

"Oh, well if you don't mean business get outta here!" I said, waving my hand in a gesture that mean he should go.

"Fine," Lafayette said, laughing a bit. 

I watched them disappear outside the shop. I decided I wanted to do something with my time. I went over too the shoes on the shelves and began to organize the boxes. I took out one box because it looked weird, just too see what was going on. The box was all dented and squished. I fixed it the best I could, then put it back in the shelf.

Suddenly, and randomly, the entire shelf started to fall. NONNONNONNONNONNONNON oikufdtx gfcgvhb;jnlh.jk,ghjmgchfdyrdt. I tried to keep the shelf up but I was too small and not strong enough. The whole thing toppled over. I quickly ran over to the front of the shop and put up a 'Closed' sign. I looked back over towards the shelf.

It had hit four more shelves, falling over like dominoes. Then the employee who was on a break came back inside. They gasped.

"OH MY-" They shouted. "YOUR FIRED!"

I don't even know if this person had the authority to fire me. But I didn't care. I walked outside, slamming the door. I walked down the large hallway of the mall and decided to sit at a bench. I put my face in my hands and began to quietly cry. 

What is wrong with me? I lost four jobs! Over winter/Christmas break! I'm such a disappointment.

"Excuse me?" I heard someone ask.

I looked up to see some fancy looking person standing in front of me.

"Need something?" I asked, wiping away my tears.

They where now just staring at me. They looked me over, staring at my face, then my hands, then my hair.

"How old are you?" They asked.

"I-um, seventeen," I said, confused.

"Are you good at.... acting?" They asked.

Acting? Who is this person? What the hedgehogs is going on?

"I've never tried before, why?" I asked.

"Because. I'm filming a movie. The actor for one of the characters left us. We are in dire need of another actor, and I'm realizing now you fit the perfect description of the character we need," They said.

"You're asking me to act? In a MOVIE?" I gasped.

"Yes," They said.

So my life failed me. I was a disappointment. Now some random stranger thinks I look like someone and wants me to act in a MOVIE? I don't know if this was a good thing or a bad thing. Was it good I failed at all those places so I could end up here? 

"Sure, why not. I freaking don't care anymore," I said, standing up.

"Follow me, young man," They said, turning around. 

I followed them out of the mall, and into a parking lot. I did not really feel comfortable with going into other peoples cars. I shivered in the cold winter air as the person led me over to a huge bus.

"The entire crew is inside. We where heading an hour north to start our filming," The person said.

Wow. This person just happened to be going inside this mall at the exact right timing. I felt like my life is made up of one hundred percent coincidences. The rich person walked up to the bus and knocked on the door. It slid open to the side automatically.

"WOAH THEY LOOK JUST LIKE ABRAHAM-" Someone shouted as they saw me.

"Yes, I found them and they'll be playing the role of Abraham for us," The rich person said.

"Maybe it was a good thing the other guy quit. YOU look PERFECT!" Someone shouted form inside the bus.

"Um, thanks," I said, still confused at what was going on.

"Jump in here," Someone said.

"I don't like the idea of jumping into random rich peoples buses full of other people," I said as the rich person climbed inside the bus.

"This is the biggest career opportunity in your life! come on!"

I took a deep breath then walked up towards the bus. Someone reached out a hand to help pull me up into the bus. Inside was lined with fancy seating. There was seating around the edges of the bus, about twelve other people sat inside, looking up at me and smiling. The bus itself was all black. Everything was black, with accents of dark blue.

"Cant wait to work with you," Someone said, shaking my hand.

This was moving way to fast. So, I'm employed. As an ACTOR. iohuiygutfyrygvubtifyctuvgbiyh.

I really hope I don't mess up this one.

I was leaving towards my car from the Crave I worked at, when I got a text form Lafayette.

LaffyTaffyThePregnantWoman: JOHN YOU'LL NEVER BELIEVE IT!

Turtlini: Wut wut wut wut wut?

LaffytaffyThePregnantWoman: I JUST SAW ALEXANDER, AGAIN! Hes working  at a shoe shop in the mall!

I spit out my coffee. WHAT?

Turtleili: What type of demonic magic is making these coincidences-

Turtleili: Wait, I wanna go see him. Tell me exactly where he is.

I stared at the images Lafayette sent. They where screenshots of a map, pin pointed with where Alex worked. I ran up to my car and hopped inside. I started the ignition and drove out of the parking lot. Lets go find Alexander.

~Ten minutes later~

I sprinted through the mall and reached the shoe shop, feeling excited. I opened up the door, but did not see him. Instead some other person was sitting in front of the counter, on their phone.

"Excuse me. Is there an Alexander Hamilton here? If not, when are his hours?" I asked.

"Hamilton was fired a couple hours ago," They shrugged.

My heart dropped. Again? This poor person! His life was just going down the drain. I really wanted to talk to him again, I wanted to become closer to him. But this poor persons life is just crumbling apart.

"Do you know where he went?" I asked.

"He stormed out of the place and took a left," They grunted, not even looking up at me.

I turned around and quickly sprinted out of the shop, looking for him. Time to go find him. I took off to the left, deciding I was going to search through the entire mall for this man.
