Surrounded by deep blackness, I turn around several times trying to find anything. A source of light or something else.

Still unable to see a thing I panic when I hear a familiar voice in my head.

"Hey there. Long time no see. Although we have never seen each other."

I hear a slight chuckle.

"Who are you? And what are you doing in my head?!"

I begin to turn around again.

"I am a spirit. I am now a part of you."

"How did you get in me?"

"Remember when you fell in the river? This was my usual place of residence. I did live in the water. When you fell in, you swallowed a lot of water and with it me.
I can't live or move without it that's why I am also called the water spirit.
Ah, I didn't even introduce myself. My bad.
My name is Seal just like the river you fell in to."

"Uh... Nice to meet you I guess.
But that doesn't explain the fact what you meant with 'transformation'."

"Easy thing. Your human body is not supposed to have a spirit or a second personality in it. So that is why you are changing. Your body is adapting itself to me and my powers.
You have to know with hosting me you have the ability to use my power and have access to my knowledge and memories. You are earning it and becoming able to use it."

"But... Why is my look changing too? Why do I have a different eye colour?"

"As said, your body is adapting itself to me. That means it's trying to 'copy' my look. To earn similarities with me."

"Aha. And how do you look like?"

"You will find out later."

"No. I want answers now."

"Well... You have to wait then.
Be patient, please. Because someone is trying to wake you up."

"What? Wait, why... How? No stay!"

My eyes still closed I begin to hear several muffled voices that become clearer with each second.

"Thank goodness she is coming back!"

"Good work, doctor. When will she wake up again?"

"Soon. It might be in every-"

I begin to open my eyes slowly.

"River?"
I look up to find Logan and Feycal staring at me with... Fear?.. no worry in their eyes.
I blink several times to unblur my view.
Yes indeed. They both stare at me with nothing but worry in their eyes.
Until...
"River? Your eyes.... Are... What colour is this? Black with a violet touch?" Logan says curiously. Feycal's expression changes from worry to something I cant explain.. it makes me worried.

"What happened?" I manage to say weakly, my voice almost gone.

I look around to find out that I am in a hospital styled room and laying in a white bed. I just manage to notice that I am on a drip before Logan speaks up.
"You were almost 15 minutes in the bathroom. So I thought I might look if you are okay... That's all I am sure of what had happened.
Get well and healthy at first. Alright?" Looking into Logans eyes I read slight worry and seriousness.

I nod and turn my head around when I hear how Feycal let out a deep sigh.
One which carried all the pressure that probably caused the worry about my health.
"River?
Please, rest now.
We will come back later to bring you to my place.
Is that fine?"
I give the Elder a simple nod.

"Well then... See you."
"Sleep well."
With that both ninjas leave the room.

I am just about to fall asleep when I hear a voice in my head.

"We will see each other soon."
