youarebeautiful40904  This is for you! About a year ago you asked me to write a poem on soulmates and I tried but it didn't work. Probably because I hadn't found someone yet. But now I have someone, and I understand enough that I hope this is a better expression of the word.

A turn of phrase,
A twist of thought,
Misunderstood we be;
Confusing knots,
And horrid thoughts,
Tangled as branches of trees.
It is simpler,
It is sweeter,
Than most might ever think;
It's different,
Magnificent,
Easy as a blink.
Not by chance,
Nor by romance,
We are something new;
It's a soft,
Sensation,
This love that grew and grew.
Forget the girl,
Boy difference,
It's about our souls;
See wonder,
And magnificence,
Together we are whole.
When you look,
And wrongly judge,
Take care to ease your eye;
For if your chance,
Does come around,
Don't let your soulmate go by.
