Awkwardness and emptiness ..
I just have to make it through this.

One more day down then comes another..
My chaotic mind longs to hear the rolling thunder.

Raindrops that mask the falling tears..
Drowning the scary thoughts that linger ...
"Why am I here?"

Poisons used to be what I fed myself..
Anything I could do to numb this hell..

Silence used to be what I needed..
Now it creeps and keeps me from screaming.

I wonder as I look around me... "Does anyone know?"
Or... am I a shadow in the midnight ..
dancing with the daylight all... alone.
