I wonder how you're doing, 

now that we don't talk,

going back to strangers again, 

feels more weirder than the walk. 

I feel so tired of missing you.

And sometimes I miss my friend.

But I know that it is time to let go,

And someday we will meet again. 

Who knows where the paths may lead, 

it happened once before,

we met and grew apart 

only to reunite,

so who's to say it won't,

happen once more? 

But I do have one request, 

If we get another chance, 

Let us do it right this time,  

maybe start with a dance. 

It would be great to see you, 

But that can never be

But one day, when we do,

I hope that you can see,

That everything aligns perfectly,

When the time is right,

and we will smile peacefully,

under the starry night. 

So do not lose hope old friend, 

But don't hold too tight,

Stay focused on your path,

Whatever is meant to be,

will take flight.

You were a happy accident,

my serendipity,

and my predicament,

that brought me clarity.

So if the day never comes,

well, that's ok too,

Because there will never come a day, 

where I will forget you.
