Song comes to an end, as Jessica lightly squeezes my arm as we stop moving. She looks at me while a bittersweet smile plays on her lips.

"Is there any second chance for us?" she asks, while her eyes glisten with unshed tears.

Instead of replying, I hold her face in my hands and kiss her forehead because I know I can't give her the answer which she wants to hear.

"I guess, I got my answer." She smiles while a tear slips from her eyes, which I gently wipe with my thumb.

"You will find someone who will love you for who you are." I smile at her, "But that someone can never be me because..." I let out a breath and shrug.

"Because you love her." She raises her eyebrows with a knowing smile.

"Yeah, because I love her." I nod my head with a chuckle. "I love Lina." Accepting this out loud stirs an unknown feeling of happiness inside me.

"Somewhere I already knew this when the first time I saw you with her, but I wasn't ready to accept it." She sighs and bites her lower lip. "Because even after breaking up, I thought you were mine."

"Lina is the one for me. She changed me, she made me feel complete." I smile while thinking about her, "She connected me with myself. She taught me to love again, something which I thought was impossible for me."

"I don't know what hurts the most, realizing that you don't love me or knowing that I had never been able to become the one who she became in your life." She presses her lips together, "your strength."

"I am sorry, Jase, for leaving your hand when you needed me the most." Holds my hands in hers, "I am sorry for never been able to give you the same love which you have given me. I was selfish, and only thought about myself, but when I have realized my mistake I know it's too late. Because now your heart belongs to someone else, someone who truly deserves your love."

"Now don't waste any more time, and tell her what you feel about her. Before Caleb decides to beat you and sweep her off her feet with his charming smile." She laughs cleaning her face with the back of her hand, "You rival is your own brother, so watch out." She jokes as she points at Caleb who dancing with Lina as both are laughing probably making fun of something.

I laugh along with her, then I pull her into a hug.

"Thank you, Jessica." I lean away from her, "I know things didn't work between us, but always remember I will be always there for you if you will need me as your friend."

"I know, and I am grateful for that and everything which you have done for me."

She smiles and kisses my cheek, and I know this is goodbye.

I search for Lina, but I don't see her anywhere. I find Nick talking to some of our friends, and I walk to him to ask about her. I remember she was hanging out with him so maybe he knows where she is.

However, the moment I reach there, I see Caleb storming towards us while his eyes are red with tears. Instantly, Nick and I go towards him because we know something is not right. The last time I have seen Caleb crying was when I woke up from my accident, so if he is crying that means something big has happened.

"I am not going to leave them," He speaks while anger seeps into his features.

"Hey, kid, relax and tell us what has happened?" Nick places a hand on his shoulder and shares a look with me.

"They made Lina cry and hurt her so much." He looks around as if he is searching for someone. "They don't deserve her."

"Who made Lina cry and what did you hear?" I hold his face to make him look at me as Lina's name gets all my attention.

"Her stupid family." He glares, "Molly told me that she saw how badly her family treated her." He turns to look at a girl whom we have noticed just now.

"Tell them everything that you had heard." He nods his head at her, as she looks between him and us then she starts speaking. By the time she has finished telling us everything, my whole body shaking with anger.

"There they are." Molly narrows her eyes at Victor Reynolds and his family.

My eyes briefly raise in a surprise finding out that Lina is his daughter. Victor is a reputable and one of the successful lawyers, he is even helping Jessica's father with his legal matters. And to think someone like him can treat his daughter in this way almost seems impossible.

All of them are laughing and chatting away with each other as if nothing has happened, that they never hurt Lina. However, one of the guys among them has a grave expression on his face and is completely silent.

"That is Chris, her ex-boyfriend who cheated her with her sister." She points at another guy whose cheek is slightly swollen.

Intense fury encases all my senses seeing this guy whom I already hate so much for hurting Lina and now when I know what this bastard did with her I can barely control my anger. Before I can stop myself, I storm towards them and throw a punch at Chris breaking his nose.

"Don't you ever try to come near Lina, not even in your dreams." I pick him up by his collar and punch him again, "Because I will fucking kill you and this is not a warning... this is a promise." Wrapping my hand around his throat, I choke him to prove my point that I mean every word I have said. Pushing him, I throw him on the floor. I turn towards Victor ready to show him, father or not, I will not leave anyone who insulted or hurt my Lina.

"What are you doing?" Dad holds me back when I take a threatening step towards Victor while I notice everyone is looking at us. But I don't give a fuck.

"This is Lina's so-called family." I glare at them, "These are the people who have only hurt her, and this bastard over here broke her heart by cheating on her then today he tried to harass her."

"What nonsense are you speaking?" Victor glares at me, "And how do you know Lina?"

"Why are you so surprised, Victor?" His wife speaks, "That girl always trick guys and make them dance on her tunes, the poor guy must have fallen for her game and believed her sobbing story. She is a manipulating girl. Have you forgotten how just now Chris told us she asked him to cheat on my Maria with her? She just needs someone with her, that girl can't stay without a guy."

Never in my life, I have thought that I will want to hit a woman so bad, how much I want to slap this bitch.

"Shut up!" Another guy says, "Please, for fuck sake, shut up! And don't you dare say a word against Lina."

He looks familiar, a moment later I realize he is the same guy who had came to my shop that day. He must be her brother, and what all rubbish I have said to her when she was only talking with her own brother.

"Emmet, you stay quiet." She looks angrily towards her son.

"I have been quiet all my life, and never said a word, but not anymore." His gaze falls on the floor in shame, "My silence has cost me my sister, whom I have lost forever because of you guys. After what I did today, she can never forgive me. She was always there for me, but never once she asked anything in return. For the first time in our life, she asked me anything, and I couldn't even give her that. All she wanted me to support her, tell everyone the truth but my cowardice stopped me from doing so."

"She was never wrong, all of you were wrong." He raises his eyes and glares at them, "All her life you treated her badly, never once you showed her any kind of love, but she never said anything. Even when Maria came between her and Chris you all supported her but no one once thought about Lina's pain and trusted every word this Chris has said."

"You are her father, just like you are mine, but why haven't you ever give her the love which she deserved?" His face holds anger and hurt, "I was the one who is a bastard, but you hated her for her birth."

"Emmet, stop talking this nonsense right now!" Victor's face turns red in anger while he grits his teeth, on the other hand, his wife has a disbelieving look on her face.

"Even then she never said a word against you." He shakes his head, and continues to speak ignoring both of them, "Mom and Maria always filled your ears against her, and you believed every word that they have said and not your own daughter. You know, I was afraid to go against you because I know you can ruin my life as you have ruined Lina's life. She's strong and bravely faced everything, and never give any of you the satisfaction of seeing her broken, but I am not. However today, the pain and disappointment I have witnessed in her eyes, made me realize even I am no different than you even I have let her down. Now I don't care about anything, because I can no longer be a part of your wrong deeds and this fake family."

"Emmet, you are my brother how can you do this to us?" Maria looks at him in disbelief and anger, "She has done it again, she has again turned you against us."

"She has made me realized that she is more important to me than anyone of you. Remember, when she was leaving the house you have asked me to choose between her and all of you?" He raises his eyebrows looking towards his mother.

"That time I remained silent, but today I will give you my answer." He looks at everyone, then locks his eyes with his father, "I choose Lina, I choose her over every one of you."
