My mother said,
move in a crowd,
he won't come around
but  how did he
got away this time
after all I was in public.

I stared at the kid
calling for his mama
but everyone just,
glanced at each other,
maybe because they were in public

He abused the dog
but I couldn't do anything
maybe because we were in public

He just raised his voice,
hint not to defy
His excuse was to tame her
But couldn't do anything further
after all they were in public

It happened all again  with every  pair of eyes on them
But everyone just looked at each other
Because they were the public.
