2nd POV

"Suna-"
"Suna~"
"Suna ... "
"Sun-"
"Cut it out, would ya?" The dark-haired boy lowly hissed at you.
A frown formed on your lips.
The day went by like usual - classes, talking to friends here and there, making sure everything is set for practice.
Here you are, in front of the infamous Suna Rintarou. An assignment given to you.
You can tell he was annoyed but you didn't want it to bother you. Knowing very well that he just lacks affection to the point he's unfamiliar with the action.
But regardless, how could you let such a thing stop you?
Your mission ... is to give him what he deserves after all.
He walked back to another seat and took a breather, watching other members in the court practicing new combos and whatnot.
"You seem troubled."
The captain sat beside you after noticing your gloomy aura. He tilted his head and waited for you to speak.
You nervously shook your head, "Ah no it's ... nothing," Your voice trailed off as you emptily looked into a distance. Kita sighed silently.
"It's alright to tell me what you're feeling. You know that, right?"
A forced, weak smile decorated your face, to which he frowned on.
"Of course I do. I'll remember your word, thank you."
It was awkward.
More so than usual. At least it's how it seems like these past few days.
You never really communicate with people nowadays. The past is haunting you .. scarring you at every moment. You couldn't just - you couldn't forget about what had happened during your first chance. How could you forget?
When it's all ... messed up?
All of it - tattooed a great trauma and fear in your mind.
He silently left you to focus on your own thoughts knowing very well there's no amount of effort that can make you tell him what's going on.
It wouldn't be recommended to tell him about it, anyway.
Why would you? As if anyone is going to believe it ... as if anyone would bother. That's what you think.
All these days you spent taking care of Suna. Watching out for him, checking up on him, helping him, and stuff. The twins are really really skeptical at the sudden change of behavior. You never did really treat Suna like this usually.
It would be normal for someone to be stroke with curiosity.
Curiosity ... along with confusion.
Confusion, along with jealousy.
Mixed emotions are stirred in their pots of minds. If that made sense.
Even though you noticed that Suna is warming up or getting used to your careful treatment - he can't help but still push you away. It would be a difficult task. A very challenging one - but you don't really like letting such trivial things stop you from your goal.
Practice will end soon.
This chance will soon end as well.
Your time is counted, limited, not eternal. Never will.
A second chance that serves as your last chance.
You caught Suna looking at you just in time as he looked away. Brows furrowed in sadness you sighed as he drank a bottle of water.
...
No worries. You can do this right.
You don't really need to ... but you HAVE to.
Giving it your all, you are determined to make things right and better again.
And make sure that everyone is satisfied.
Everyone with a good ending ...
It doesn't matter if you can't fit your own into theirs.
They - Suna, most importantly, is your priority.
He will always be.
