Chapter VI: Early Wish

A person's stare seems to sound simple and natural, but it's more that what it seems, especially the things that are hidden within their focused eyes. A person's stare could mean a lot of things, it could mean that they're attracted to you, judging you, generally admires you, something about you just caught their attention, or maybe you're just plain weird

The people that would either come inside or exit the small convenient store would often have the look of attraction whenever their eyes lands over to the bench near the entrance of the store, because of the attractive young man occupying it. Their eyes would twinkle in admiration and linger their gaze on the man's pretty face

However, the man was not in his cheerfullest moments, which was actually his personality but it haven't flared inside him for quite a while. He was aware to the kind of look that the people are giving him, and he was thankful that they find him attractive even in his gloomy state

But he didn't spare them a glance for his mind was clouded with various of thoughts; anxious and worried thoughts about their missing member, Yoongi. His eyes stared down at the marble floor with a blank look, deep in thought. It's been three solid weeks since their friend have left their house without a word

At first, they thought he just needed some space to think and calm himself after all the hardships he experienced at the week before the first snowfall

But a week passed, and the first snowfall came, yet he still didn't come home, and left them nothing; no calls and no messages on what or where he could be. That's when they started to get worried and began their search for Yoongi, which has been occuring  for two weeks now

Suddenly, a chilly breeze of the winter night blew past him when the entrance door opens after an old couple walked out, startling his tousled thoughts. His soft blush pink and faded black highlighted hair attractively rustles to the side, yet still maintaining its parting at the middle, which complimented his cute forehead

He briefly looked to the door before huffing out a breath and hunching over, his elbows on his knees while his hands ran through his eye-catching hair

"Hobi-hyung," A familiar sweet voice of a male spanned to his ears, causing him to raise his head

His eyes landed on an attractive young man, that doesn't look much younger than him, with chestnut brown hair. He was carrying two small case of root beer in each of his hands

Next to him stood a guy with a sharp jawline and soft pink hair, which looked like cotton candy from how fluffy it looks, but he was a bit smaller compared to the other two men. He held two large plastic bags of chips and other foods in each of his attractively veiny hands, as loose strands of his pink hair aesthetically fell onto his face

The man with blush pink and faded black highlighted hair that owns the name Hobi, brought his hands down from his head and asked the pink haired guy, "You seem to have bought a lot, Jimin. Did you guys got all the things you need?" His eyes scanning the things their carrying,

The man named Jimin, gently placed the bag of foods on the floor. He swept back his hair with a hand, exposing his cute forehead, which created a parting in the middle, like Hobi's

"Ne, and it's been awhile when someone among the six of us got out to buy groceries, because of out search for Yoon-hyung" Jimin said, glancing down at the bag of foods on the floor, "So, I thought that I could maybe buy a few foods just to fill in the empty cupboards. And Jungkook here..." He explained before trailing off and turning to look at the the guy with chestnut brown hair beside him

The named Jungkook lightly raised his arms when Hobi glanced at him, "And I thought that maybe we could take a few drinks back at home" He finished, pointing out to the cases of drinks he's carrying

Hobi chuckles with a slight smile on his small lips and stood up, stuffing his hands in his bomber jacket with a huff, "Thanks for doing this, guys. I thought you would just buy a few chips, cup noodles, drinks and such for our midnight snack later. Even I forgot about buying groceries" He thanked with a hand scratching the back of his head

Jimin lets out a small cute chuckle with a smile, while Jungkook shrugs with his signature bunny smile laced in slight triumph

"I was actually the one who suggested it" Jungkook pointed out with a cocky smile

Jimin suddenly snapped his head to look at their dongsaeng with a shocked expression, "Ya! I was the one who suggest it, you dingus!" He prostested which only caused Jungkook to laugh at the response of his pink haired hyung and teasingly stuck his tongue out

Jungkook, the guy with chestnut brown hair, is actually the youngest member of their group and owns the title Golden Maknae within their group. But despite his age, he has the quickest reflexes and agilities, which is why he had easily dodged the fast kick that Jimin sent him with a swift movement to the side

Jimin, on the other hand, which was the guy with soft pink hair, is third to the youngest of the group, after Taehyung -- who goes after Jungkook -- in the group's maknaeline. Jimin is actually the smallest one among them, but it's an advantage for him because he's the most flexible and also has quick reflexes. Which is why he had delivered his kick easily and smoothly even in his skinny jeans

Hobi watched his two dongsaeng playfully fight while they're bursting with small giggles and smiles; Jimin was delivering flexible low and high kicks to Jungkook, who could only dodge his hyung's playful attacks due to both of their hands being occupied

Hobi, the guy with blush pink and faded black highlighted hair, was the third to the oldest in their group and he's only a few months older than Namjoon. He's actually smart like Namjoon too, but not in the same level, and his knowledge is in a different category

He's the techno geek of the group, but it's not obvious due to the fact that he's also the most cheerful member aside from Jimin-- well, was the most cheerful of them. The cheerful Hobi that his friends knew hasn't showed he's entire self yet, ever since Yoongi left them

Hobi let a small smile sprout from his lips, "Okay, it's time to stop your childish fight you two" He scolded with a light chuckle, and watched the two maknaes gradually oblige to his words but they continued to verbally tease each other

Hobi glanced down on his phone as the two turned to their hyung, "It's nearly past midnight, and Jin-hyung already wants us back at the house. Now come on, let's go" He said before gesturing them to follow him as he walked out the store, and the maknaes followed

The cold icy breeze of the winter night greeted each of the them, prickling their exposed skin and sent them goosebumps. They continued on walking down the snow coated sidewalk with their breaths creating small white fogs while making their way to a nearby bus station

"Here, I'll help" Hobi offered, and reached for the small case of beer from Jungkook and one bag from Jimin

After a few minutes of walking, Jungkook and Jimin's ears were already in a pinkish colour by the time they arrived at the bus stop. Hobi's ears were warm and protected from the cold because of the black fuzzy ear warmers he's wearing. His eyes watched the maknaes take a seat and warm themselves up as they adjusted their scarfs and muffleres

It was already a week since the first snowfall befell onto the country of South Korea, but the cold breeze would sometimes be overwhelming whenever midnight is nearing. However, they already expected this kind of temperature, because Christmas is only a few months a head of today. And all they wish, is that they could find Yoongi before Christmas would come

Suddenly, Hobi's phone began to ring inside his jacket which slightly caught him in surprise. He fished out his expensive iPhone and to see it was an incoming call from one their maknaes

Kim Taehyung (TaeTae) is calling...

After swiping the green accept button,  Hobi placed the device to his ear and was just about to speak when the deep voice of Taehyung boomed from the other line

"HOBI-HYUNG!!"

Hobi nearly jumped high from his seat in fright from the maknae's sudden outburst, but he ended up looking like an idiot from jolting on his place while yelping and held his phone away from his ear. And even Jungkook and Jimin, who were sitting on his left side, weirdly looked at him and slightly laughed from their hyung's personality of being jumpy

Hobi embarrassingly smiled with a shaky laugh before speaking back to Taehyung on the phone

"Ya! Don't shout on the phone like that, Taehyung! You nearly made my eardrums bleed because of you!" He scolded with furrowed eyes brows

Upon hearing the name Taehyung, Jimin and Jungkook briefly assumed that it was their other member that he's talking to, saying that Jin wanted them to hurry back home. But when they saw Hobi's face slowly contorting into a look of shock made them raise a brow, and wonder what they're talking about

The reason of Hobi's shock expression was hearing Taehyung laugh his ass off wholeheartedly. He was shocked because it's been a while since he last heard the contagious laugh of the maknae. Hobi slowly smiled and laughed along with more evident enthusiasm unlike before, and it was Jimin and Jungkook's turn to look shocked

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!! I'm sorry, Hobi-hyung, I just got something very im-por-tant to tell you!!" Taehyung excitedly replied from the other line, still laughing

"Can't this wa--"

"NO!! This can't wait, because it's about Yoon-hyung!!"

Hobi knitted his brows into a frown, and replied almost immediately, "Yoon-hyung? As in Yoongi? Min Yoongi?"

Suddenly, Jimin and Jungkook's eyes widen upon hearing their missing hyung's name. Jungkook went to the other of Hobi while Jimin sat on the other before they both leaned onto his device. Hobi put his phone in speaker mode so that the other two can hear Taehyung more easier

"YES!! As in Min. Savage. Yoongi!! We finally found him!!"

And Hobi didn't expect that his early wish for christmas would actually be granted that quickly...
