All of a sudden

My smile is more bright,

In my eyes

Is a glow of light.

I've always doubted

The beauty I held.

When I looked in the mirror

I was repelled.

But all that changed

At my last glance.

I almost lost my life

But was given another chance.

Now the world

Means so much more.

This happening

Has opened doors.

I love who I am

And I wish you could love you, for you.

You shouldn't have to die

To see how great you can be.

If you think it impossible

Then it will be.

Have hope

And one day you will see

That you're everything

You've ever wanted to be.

Nichole was in a car accident and totaled the car she was driving. She was already thinking more positive about herself when this happened. I think feeling like she almost died, woke her up so to speak. She finally "got it", that she was wonderful and awesome and beautiful and the world was hers. 

I hope it doesn't take a near death experience for the young person reading this, that is feeling despair and loneliness, to come to realize you are amazing and perfect! There is a saying I heard once it goes - God made you and God doesn't make junk. So see you are awesome.
