Another Goodbye
I seduce your mind
With each word I write.
I touch you sexually
This way you can't fight.
When I mention
Two lips touching
You read on
Even though you're blushing.
If here on this paper
Is the only place we can make love
Then so be it.
No better place can I think of.
I touch you
In places secret to all.
And over and over again
For you I fall.
How great our relationship
But only written with this pen.
I hate this relation
When will this end?
Ever will I hold
You near my breast?
Listening to words
Of love you confessed.
Will ever there be
A day or time
When lying together in bed
Our two hearts make one beat, rhythm and rhyme?
You read on
Eyes gazing across each letter.
Should I have kept this secret
Would it have been better?
Now it is
Written from me
Confessing my love
Confiding my dreams.
Will you ever
Look into my eyes
Say those three words
A lover's lullaby.
Or will this poem
End with only your eyes?
Will it start a new beginning
Or remain yet another goodbye?
It took Nichole several years to break the hold he had on her but don't worry she eventually does. I think sometimes as parents we attribute the first "love" as just a crush or puppy love. Irregardless what we classify it as, to them it is the real thing, causing happiness, insecurities, sadness, confusion, joy and they just know that they are "in love" and that it is going to last forever. So maybe we should not be so quick to dismiss the "love" they feel and help them navigate through the emotional mine field they find themselves in.
