GUYS.

Remember that sonnet I wrote a while back for my English class? Well, everyone who wrote one (along with many students from other schools) entered theirs in to a sonnet contest at a college close by, and guess what... MINE TIED FOR FIRST PLACE!! Woot woot! The person I tied with is actually a friend of mine, so that's pretty cool as well! The bad news is that I am having to miss school to go and read it out loud in front of who knows how many people at a Renaissance fair tomorrow morning. Okay, that sounds really cool, but I am not the kind of person that can easily talk in front of a large group of people... Or ANY group of people! That's basically the entire meaning of my sonnet — I get my words and emotions out through my writing! Ah, but yeah. I'll live. I get a medal for it and it can help a lot with applying for scholarships!

But no matter which path God decides to take it tomorrow, it can't possibly ruin my day because... Tomorrow is my birthday!! Woot woot! I'll be turning fifteen, just in case you were about to ask. I am super excited but also super stressed and scared (testing is going on this week as well so yeah!!)! Wish me luck, guys! Love ya! 💛
