The hip-hop unit were the last back the dorms, not making much of a racket due to the fact that it was very late at night. No one knew where they went after dance practice, and why it led them to coming home much later than everyone else. But we just didn't suspect anything, saying it was typical adolescents hanging out at the club every night, even though they weren't ones for beers and champagne in the dorms or at award shows. The hip-hop unit confused everyone's minds, so I decided to see for myself why they came home late, and I stayed up all night, waiting for their return.

The cold wind drifted through the cracks in the blinds, the full moon giving the room the perfect amount of light. I wrapped myself up in my duvet as I sat upright on the couch, staring at the door. I was extremely weary, eyelids furiously fluttering and muscles relaxing more. I looked down at my watch, squinting to be able to read the time. 10 minutes past 3, it said, in which I sighed. If they don't get back soon, I'm going to just go back asleep.

And with that, the door swung open. I expected them to be drunk, barely making it down the hallway without tripping over something. Yet, they just strode down the corridor, silent as mice, as they each held a vacuum-shut package with a thin tube sprouting from the top. I pulled the duvet over my head, making it seem as if I was just another piece of dirty laundry we hadn't cleaned up that day. As they entered the living area, Mingyu tapped Seungcheol on the shoulder, leaning closer to his ear.

"I think someone's awake, Coups." He whispered, causing Seungcheol's eyes to widen.

"How do you know?" He fired back silently, just in case his statement was true. Hansol and Wonwoo gathered around them, curious as to Mingyu's answer.

"I smell fresh blood." Mingyu looked straight over at my duvet, the rest following in suit. I forgot that I had cut my finger trying to dice onions, why am I so clumsy?

"It might just be the stuff from your bag," Hansol defended, "humans do have quite faint smelling blood, and everyone's fast asleep anyway."

"Then someone in Seventeen isn't as human as we thought." Mingyu concluded,

"You do realise what we are, right?" quietly chuckled Wonwoo, "We're anything but human!"

"No, this isn't anything like the humans and vampires malarkey we've known all our lives." Mingyu stated, "I think we have ourselves a fallen angel."

"A what?" Hansol questioned, soon after hushed by Seungcheol. What are they trying to say?

"A fallen angel is pretty self-explanatory," Wonwoo began to explain, "it's an angel that's fallen from heaven. But, they fall as a punishment, by going against the rules of heaven. In daylight, they seem completely human, happy and outgoing, wanting the world around them to smile with them; but at night, they struggle to sleep, as the bones in their body are still moving and trying to transition. That tends to start the minute the fallen angel closes their eyes, to give them even more pain. Because of the quick shift from angel to human, not only are their wings still partially attached, but their blood doesn't have the time to weaken, meaning that it's easier for vampires and werewolves to hunt them. The fallen angel even forgets anything before the fall, meaning any relationships and any memories they had beforehand are destroyed, leaving the angel confused and useless. It's honestly a horrible punishment, which is why we're actually lucky that we're going to hell when we eventually die. I wouldn't be able to keep any of the rules in tack, to be honest."

"I think Hansol would be the best at those rules, seeing as he isn't a full-blood and has lived as a human before." Mingyu spoke, receiving a glare from Hansol.

"Well I'm sorry I'm a half-breed, but your little 'cult' accepted me into the hip hop unit, and practically forced me to become a vampire."

"Well it was either that, or you went back to being a trainee, and I don't think anyone wanted that." Seungcheol smiled, he still acts like normal, even in vampire form. Almost like he knows someone's watching him.

"Anyways, want some ramen?" Wonwoo asked, in which Hansol and Mingyu followed him to the kitchen while Seungcheol stayed in the living room.

Scouting the couch, he was curious of the massive pile of duvet that he was sure wasn't there before he headed out. It looked very suspicious, the lump it had created a mountain on the sofa. Seungcheol placed his blood-bag on the coffee table, and sneaked over to the couch, taking a seat next to the duvet. The pungent smell was at it strongest where he sat, coming from the duvet next to him. Picking up a corner, I silently gasped and closed my eyes, pretending to be asleep like the rest of the units. He revealed me, and all he saw was a sleeping boy curled up on the couch. My back does insanely ache though, I thought to myself, turning around on the confined space to get comfy, and it has for a lot of nights now.

"Is it really...Jeonghan?" Seungcheol mumbled to himself, stroking my head gently. I knew he always had a small crush on me, but he just hated to admit it. Finding it quite cute, I just made him flustered when around me.

"Ouch..." I spoke in my 'sleep', but surprisingly it was all real. The bones in my back twisted and turned, causing me horrific agony. Seungcheol looked shocked, trying to think of a way to stop my pain. God bless his soul.

"What page is it?" He whispered, flicking through all the books that sat beside the sofa, which all belonged to Mingyu. "In order to relief a fallen angel of their pain for five hours, drink 5cm³ of their blood and then kiss them with your stained lips for at least 3 seconds. If you lick your lips before kissing, they will not be relieved. Well this will be fun."

Seungcheol leaned over me, his arms shaking as he tried to keep himself upright. His sharp fangs lengthened, his now-red eyes staring at my frail neck. "Bon appetite, I guess."

Gasping as he pierced my neck, Seungcheol took a long sip of my blood, silently moaning supposedly from the taste of it. He looked at the marks left from his bite, gently rubbing them blood-free to stop suspicions from arising. Then, he titled my head towards him, resisting the temptation of licking the blood clean from his mouth, and placed a gentle kiss upon my lips. It was subtle, but I could sense a slight passion lingering within. Biting on my bottom lip, he deepened the kiss as I slept, and as each drop of iron reached my tongue and tingled on my tastebuds, I felt all the pain just fade away. My back relaxed, my shoulders resting back in their normal position as I breathed out in relief.

I didn't fight back the kiss, I just let him carry on with what he was doing, lengthening the amount of time he was actually meant to be kissing me for. He smelt of blood, but a burst of a familiar scent hit me like a bulldozer - my shampoo. His fingers got tangled and intertwined in my hair like the essence of raspberries got tangled and intertwined with the strawberries in my shampoo. Eventually, I had to give in, the lust for his love taking over me. Giving him a shock as I pushed forward, he kept ahold of me as I sat upwards, our lips still specially connected like a lock and key. My arms slivered around his waist as his teeth dug deeper into my bottom lip, leaving a red substance dripping down my chin. He drew circles on my abdomens, even a heart at one point, and I giggled and gasped, resembling a small child as I did so. He placed a delicate trail of kisses down my neck, eyeing up the place he took a bite from earlier, and looking back up to me. "Do I have permission?" Seungcheol smiled, causing a chuckle to erupt from my mouth.

"You do, Cheolie." I smirked back, awaiting him to begin. But he paused, looking down at the bite marks, and the smile turned into a grin the size of an elephant. Not turning away from my neck, he whispered.

"I like that nickname, angel." And he reentered the bite, draining more blood from me. But I didn't care, I was never the vampire hating person like other members may be. Either way, Seungcheol could stay alive to kiss me once again if I did this. It's a win win situation, if you ask me.

"I love you, and I can't believe I didn't realise earlier." I mumbled in between breaths, and Seungcheol drew another heart, but on my chest. "Our hearts will be together forever?" I inferred, and he slowly nodded as he drank more blood. Stroking his hair, I pulled him closer, resting my head in the crook of his neck. Even when he stopped drinking blood, we stayed in that hug for the rest of the night. And when he did quench his thirst, before falling asleep in our embrace, he got closer to my ear, and murmured:

"I love you too, my fallen angel. Whatever happens, you're safe with me." And then we fell into a deep slumber together until the morn came again.
