"Wooyoung share your colouring pencils with y/n." Wooyoung's mum scolded. "But she just snatched the blue one off me." His mother sighed. "Wooyoung stop complaining, y/n has come over to play and colour with you not to be argued with."
Turning his attention back to y/n he saw a small tear fall down her beautiful cheek. Guilt grew upon him, "I'm sorry" Wooyoung cooed as he placed his arm around her petite frame. "Here, you can have this colour." He smiled as he held a green crayon in his small hands. "Thank you Wooyoungie." Y/n chimed as she looked into his soft brown eyes

"Ready or not, here I come." Y/n evilly spoke as she began searching for her bestfriend Wooyoung, who was currently hiding from her.
Searching around the living room Wooyoung was no where to be seen.
"Strange." Y/n mumbled to herself as she commenced to the kitchen. Opening the lower cupboards Wooyoung was still no where to be found. "Oh Wooyoung." She cooed as she looked under the kitchen table. "Nothing" she whispered.
Heading for the staircase y/n passed her mother who was carrying some fresh washing. Winking to her daughter with a smile she tilted her head towards y/n's bedroom. Smiling evilly y/n walked toward her room and opening up the door she crept inside.
Seeing a small body hidden under her bed covers she sighed. "I wonder where Wooyoungie could be? He's not downstairs and he's not in the kitchen. I best look else where."
Pretending to walk out of her room she stood in one spot, creating walking movements with her feet.
The moment she did Wooyoung came out from underneath the covers, letting out a long breath of air.
"AH FOUND YOU." Y/n shouted as she watched him reveal himself. "Hey you fooled me." Wooyoung pouted as he stood from y/n's bed. "No, you just believed my actions."
Placing his hands onto his hips he grinned at his best friend. "Ok my turn now, you go hide." He told y/n as she ran out of the room, letting Wooyoung count his numbers.

Knocking on the door y/n waited for her best friend to come out of the house. Tapping her foot on the ground along with her arms crossed she sang her self a little song.
"Turns our there's still not enough time, people talking, no one listens to the other side, I'm exhausted, someone medicate me. I've been paranoid that every choice I make is useless-"
"Oh I didn't realise I entered the musical." Wooyoung chuckled as he stood in the doorway. Y/n's eyes widened at Wooyoung's presence, "s-sorry, I just got bored waiting." Scuffing her foot along the ground Wooyoung closed the front door, "Ready for school?" Nodding in agreement y/n and Wooyoung headed for school.
Once they arrived Wooyoung was called upon from his friends, which always made y/n feel uncomfortable. Wooyoung would be a completely different person once he was with his friends. Crossing her arms she bid a soft goodbye before walking away and heading to class.
Sighing in sadness she looked over her shoulder as she entered the building. Something grew within her every time she saw Wooyoung's bright smile, she was falling in love with her bestfriend.
Present Time
"Hey y/n" Wooyoung greeted as he took a seat next to me. "Hey Woo" I smiled as I opened up my History book.
"Good morning class" Our lecture Mrs Park greeted as she entered the room. "Hope you have all been studying hard over the weekend as today I'll be setting you a test."
The class groaned at Mrs Park's remark. "Ok, now, now class settle down." She reassured. "The test will be outside of class, you and a classmate will partner and go around the school grounds finding clues about the previous history periods we've been studying about." Clapping her hands in delight she smiled. "So let's get started, partner up and see what you guys can find."
Nudging me softly Wooyoung sent me a grin. "Of course we have to partner up." I nodded. "Sure, let's go."
•
"Yunho and Esme how many periods did you find?" Mrs Park asked as Yunho handed her their folder. "We found three." He replied as he headed back to his seat. "Good work, and finally y/n and Wooyoung, how many did you find?" Handing her the folder i replied with "we found seven." making the class perch up in satisfaction.
Mrs Park smiled joyfully. "Wow, that's the best number we've had today, great job guys, you won today's task."
"Yeah only because Wooyoung was with the nerd." Hongjoong mumbled causing Yunho and Wooyoung to laugh.
Taking my seat my heart sank, Wooyoung was laughing at me because of Hongjoong's comment. As the bell rang I grabbed my bag and headed straight out of class, heading for the cafe.
•••
"You're such a nerd" Hongjoong teased as he backed me into my locker. "I pitty for Wooyoung, he always hangs around with you, like come on haven't you seen how ugly you are?" My eyes widened at his harsh comment. "B-but" Hongjoong chuckled. "Just stay away from him."
"I'm sorry but you can't tell me who I can and can't hang out with, you aren't my father." I gritted as I pushed past him. "Oh no you don't." Taking hold of my wrist i winced in pain, shoving me against the lockers with a loud bang I let out a squeal. "Don't you dare speak to me like that you little pet. Wooyoung deserves far better then you so I suggest you believe it and stay away."
Releasing his grip he walked away, letting my body fall down the lockers I sat on the ground as tears escaped my eyes.

Taking my seat I was soon interrupted by Wooyoung who looked concerned. "You ran out of our lecture quick? Something going on?" He asked as he took a seat next to me.
Shaking my head I pulled out my water bottle, "I'm fine, just wanted to get out that's all."
"You know you can talk to me right? I'm your bestfriend." Wooyoung assured softly. "I know" I replied turning to him. Seeing his smile made me smile, the more I saw of him the more deeper in love I grew.
"Yo Wooyoung" Hongjoong called from afar causing us to turn our attention toward him.
"You coming with us? We're going to hang out with Jongho's girl and her friends." Looking over to Wooyoung his eyes lit up, "Yes, I'll be right there."
As Wooyoung frantically put his bag onto his shoulders Hongjoong stared at me with dark eyes, looking away I gulped nervously.
Placing my water bottle back into my bag I headed for the cafe's exit. "Wait. Where are you going?" Wooyoung asked in worry. "I-I erm, I just going to the library to study." "Do you want me to walk you?-" "I'll take her Wooyoung, you go ahead." Hongjoong smiled as he headed in my direction.
"Thanks Hongjoong." Running out of the cafe Hongjoong grabbed hold of my arm and guided us away.
"Why don't you never listen?" Hongjoong spat as he forced me up against a wall, "I'm sorry, I didn't realise he was going to sit with me." I replied. "I've heard Wooyoung's found someone else, she's a beauty."
My eyes immediately widened at his sudden statement.
Wooyoung has a girlfriend?
"Oh you didn't know?" Hongjoong teased. "Well I'm not sorry as he deserves it." Relieving me from his grip he chuckled. "It's a shame as he's all you have, but you'll find someone sooner or later so good luck with that." Taking a step back he walked away.
Heartbreaking tears brimmed in my eyes, pulling my bag further into my shoulders I left the building, heading home.
A Week Later
"Isn't Wooyoung meeting with you today?" My mum asked as I entered the kitchen. "N-no h-he's gone in early to study for a test he's got coming up." I replied as I took a bite out of a slice of toast.
"It's just he hasn't stopped by in a while-" "Just leave it mum, he's busy with school and I'm busy with school. We aren't attached to the hip like we used to be." I snapped.
Seeing her smile fade I shook my head in regret. "I'm sorry" I apologised. Throwing the toast's crust down onto the plate I grabbed my bag and left the house, slamming the door shut behind me.
Crossing my arms I headed for school, the usual blue sky was full and grey, the sunless rays were no where to be seen. Sighing in sadness I continued with my walk.
Hearing the laughs of other students and cars driving past the roads I entered the grounds.
Opening the doors I came face to face with a crowded hallway, keeping myself to myself I reached my locker.
"Oh Woo stop" a girls voice chimed causing my head to turn toward the voice.
Looking over my shoulder I saw Wooyoung's arm wrapped around a brown haired girls shoulders, her smile was beautiful, she was beautiful. Wooyoung and the boys laughed loudly amongst one another, enjoying each-others company.

Looking into the mirror i inspected my body, I pointed out every flaw and insecurity I could possibly see. Turning to my side I poked at my skin, looking to the ground I wiggled my freshly painted pink toe nails.
Combing my hands through my hair I sighed in sadness.
Eyeing up the bottle of Depression pills I held them in the palm of my frail hand.
Swallowing the recommended amount I sat back onto the toilet seat. Letting my head fall into my hands the tears soon ran.
I was alone, I felt so alone, I had no one beside me, no one to comfort me. The person I wanted. The person I needed the most, the person I desired had forgotten about me. I was officially vanished out of his life.
•••
Closing my locker door I headed for my first lecture of the day.
As I passed Wooyoung and his friends Hongjoong called upon me. "Hey y/n your looking a bit fragile today, everything ok?" He asked in sympathy.
"She never looks ok, what do you expect." Jongho added causing the group to irrupt in laughter, even Wooyoung.
Closing my eyes I hurried away, pulling up my bag I ran further and further afar.
Hearing the bell echo throughout the school I entered my first class, taking a seat at my desk other students began piling into the room.
Watching Wooyoung and Yeosang enter the room I held my breath anxiously.
Throwing his bag to the ground Wooyoung pulled out his chair, taking his seat next to me.
Scanning my eyes to his hands I closed my eyes in pain.
Checking up to see if the teacher had entered the room I grabbed my bag and transferred to a empty desk at the back of the room.
Looking out of the window I watched the green trees
whistle through the pines and leaves. Drifting off into the distance my worries disappeared for a short amount of time.
But that was quickly taken away from me when my teacher entered the room.
"Good morning students." My teacher Mr Jeon welcomed. Placing my chin into the palm of my hand I listened to his words, focusing on my work.
Yet deep down I felt a pair of eyes on me.
Closing my locker door for the final time of the day I made my way out of the building. Walking along the tennis court grounds I spotted Wooyoung and his girlfriend hugging one another as they said their fair wells.
My heart ripped the moment I locked eyes with Wooyoung. Taking a shy breath I continued to walk away.
As I entered my house I placed my bag down onto the ground before heading up to my room. Closing the door behind me I reached for my diary, which was hidden away at the very back of my desk.
Pulling it out i opened it up to a page which was written just a few months ago.

Wednesday:
I've fallen in love with my best friend, I don't know what to do. I either confess and have my heartbroken or keep it secret from everyone.
Today myself and Wooyoung brought some ice cream at our local ice cream parlour. Without realising halfway through licking my mint choc chip ice cream I got some on my nose.
"Y-you have ice cream on your nose" Wooyoung giggled as he continued to lick his chocolate flavoured ice cream. Crossing my eyes and looking down to my nose I chuckled in embarrassment.
"Here, let me." Reaching across Wooyoung removes the ice cream with the tip of his thumb. My breath hitched the moment I realised we were just inches apart. Looking into his eyes I felt my body move closer, as did his. But a nearby screaming baby stopped our actions, causing us to pull away.
•••
Closing the book and holding it dear to my chest I let out a shaky breath. Looking over to my desk I saw two full bottles of depression pills, I hadn't been taking them, I was lying to my family saying I was doing well yet I wasn't.
Looking out of my window the greys sky's had passed, letting the sun's bright rays appear through and onto the wet grounds. A soft rainbow hiding within the puffy clouds.
Placing my diary away I changed out of my uniform and into some dark clothing.
Leaving my phone and keys on the bedside table I looked at my room one last time before closing the door behind me. Exiting out of the house I headed for a nearby river, which was one of my calm places to visit, only this time I was a different type of visit.
As I reached the calm waters I took a seat on one of the cobbled rocks. Pulling my hood up and over my head I pulled my knees close to my chest. Closing my eyes I listened to the water flowing past.
Feeling around in my pocket I pulled out a small handful of pills, rolling them around in the palm of my hand my heart clenched tightly.
"Don't do it."
Jolting up at the sudden tone of a males voice I looked over my shoulder. My eyes softening the moment I caught glimpse of the unknown stranger.
"You don't want to do this. You have a clear life ahead of you." I scoffed at the strangers words. "You don't know me." I bluntly replied. "You're right, I may not know you but I know you are hurting."
A small tear fell down my cheek as he took a seat next to me.
"Trust me, I've been in your situation before. You don't want to do this yet the feeling you have is wanting to take all the pain away. Am I right?" Nodding at his words he held out his hand, removing the pills from my hand he threw them into the river, letting them drift away.
"Whatever is going on it can be fixed, it can be dealt with." "How? I have no one, the guy I've fallen in love with thinks I'm a nobody." Looking out onto the river the stranger sighed.
"But those types of guys are just temporary. Don't feel as though it's your fault." "Why are you doing this?" I asked aloud.
"Because I know how it feels, I know how it feels to be alone and not have anyone around." With the stranger also looking out onto the waters he told me his story.
•
"And ever since that day I decided to change for the better. If I can do it I know you can too. Of course it will take time but having the right people around you is all you need."
Looking into the strangers eyes I knew he was right.
"A-and you are willing to help me?" I asked with a whisper. "I'll do whatever it takes to get you back onto your feet." I smiled brightly, to which it was the first time I've smiled in a long time.
"I'm San by the way. Choi San."
