Over time, the pup and human got to know each other in a special way. They had a friendship that would never end, almost like a never-ending bond. They grew up together in a mystical land with mystical creatures in it. He taught her hunting, she taught him archery- which was hard to teach, because of Woody's paws.

They would never leave each other, even when they were feeling sad and needed some alone time. Life was great for Shelby and Woody, or so did it seem? ....

In the heart of the forest, there lived a young, fifteen-year-old girl (named Shelby Ash) and a nobel, kind-hearted dog, known as Woody. They had spent most of their lives together fighting away pray and becoming pray themselves. Crystal eyes meet up when they see each other and play-fight. Shelby was a spirited, young girl, with a gleeful heart- on the other hand Woody was a life-saver with a joyful brain, but with such sorrow in his eyes. Seeing his own father die, Woody had been scarred for life and he had never stopped searching for a missing gem (that his father wanted to discover before he would pass away).
