i know that a lot of you beautiful chicken nuggets are mobile editors so i wanted to make a list of some of my favorite editing apps for adding cute pastel "psd" colorings and filters onto images! you can use these for covers, profile pictures, instagram photos, studyblr photos etc. hehe~

pinkscam is a really cute app to add adorable pink and bright filters to your photos!! this is definitely one of my favorites, as the look it adds to photos is like 10000% my aesthetic hehe. some of the filters are locked, but the free ones are 10/10 gorgeous still, and add super bright and pastel vibes to any photo! i would suggest clicking on the filters to adjust the intensity of the filters, though, because some of them are a lil' much ahaha!

most of you already probably know about snow but i'm mentioning it anyways ahaha! it's also a super cute (korean? i think?) app to add adorable filters to your photos, and also has the ability to take great selfies with overlays sort of like snapchat (like faces and flower crowns and blushie faces hehe). their filters are pretty good, and they have sO. MANY. that you'll be sure to find something that looks good!

ahHHHHH THIS IS LIKE MY FAVORITE APP AHAHAHA foodie is literally so perfect i love it so much and even though it's meant for food pictures, it still works so well on selfies and just photos of anything. it adds such a vibrant and bright look to photos that, again, is like exactly my aesthetic ahaha! foodie also has so so so many filters which are free and are so bomb.com and add so many different kinds of effects like super high contrast or super dark or black and white or pastel or blue-toned or whatever you like!

tbh i don't really use line camera for editing photos huehuehuehue omg i'm such a hippo hypocrite i'm sorry bahaha but it has THE CUTEST frames and stickers! so! i had! to! recommend it!1!11!!!1 if you know who the line friends are (like brown the bear and sally and cony and bt21 hehe) then you'll love this app because you can add cute little frames and stickers and overlays of all the line friends to your pictures and i see it used a lot on studyblr instagrams and people in the comments are always all like YFYGUSHIKJN SENPAI TELL ME HOW U DID DIS and now you can look at them and laugh because you're a genius and know how to do it ;))))

vsco is a pretty popular editing app i think? idk it might not be new to a lot of you, but it's definitely one of the more "pro" ones, and it adds a really subtle but cool "i know what i'm doing with my life" look to photos, and a lot of instagrammers use it. i would say that it's more for like dark and edgy and cool photos? but i haven't used it too much so i can't really say ahaha~

time for kirl cam yayyyyyy ahaha~ i lowkey hate this app because it's so annoying all the time trying to get you to buy the premium or pro version or whatever, and literally locks all of it's filters for pro members, but the few filters it does have are really cute, and have a subtle but really cute effect on pictures!! this app gives your photo a really good base for pastel edits, so you can run it through kirl cam first, and then put it through another app to make tiny adjustments!

alsoooo since i love you all i'm going to list some more of my favorite editing apps! i don't use all of these too much so if you have any questions regarding them i don't think i would be the best person to ask, but i've heard that these are all really good, and i want to give you as many ideas as possible! hehe

pitu: has good selfie editing tools, as well as really cute filters!!

darkroom: has nice basic editing features (like saturation, brightness, exposure etc.) but also has super super adorable and versatile filters for photos.

april: creates collages and "posters" (tbh i just downloaded this app bc the app icon is fricking gorgeous but the app is nice in itself too ahahaha #exposed)

s.u.a.p.: this app is actually so amazing i want to start using it more -- basically it will create a color scheme from your photo and you can position it anywhere around your photo. it looks really cool for instagram photos and also for those "palette" or aesthetic type wattpad minimal covers!

color story: super bright and fun filters!

snapseed: this is a super easy to use app that can do so many things!! you can adjust all the basic photo properties like saturation and vibrancy and brightness, but you can also do so many other things like change the perspective and crop and rotate and use the brush tool to add or remove color from certain areas and ahhhhh it's just the coolest thing ahaha. it has so many tools that photoshop has, except its way easier to use!

legend: if any of you have ever been on army amino and seen all those gifs people make as the covers for their posts, this is how they do it! the gifs you can make in this app are actually pretty cool, and are things that would probably take forever to animate in photoshop or aftereffects ahaha~

facetune2: this has amazing selfie editing tools (just don't go too far eeek) but also some features like the whitening tool or the blemish fixer which can be used to fix lots of things in regular photos as well!

adobe capture: this app pulls out colors from your photo and adds cool bubbles to them, and while it's hard to explain, it's a super cool look and i want to start using it more hehe

slmmsk: this is a very "aesthetic" app for people who like sort of grunge and edgy and dark things because it adds these cool effects to your selfies and photos ahaha

huji: this app is literally amazing for taking photos because it adds these cute light streaks and lens flares to the photo and makes it look so awesome!!

picsart, phonto, superimpose, over: these are all apps that i've heard people use for all-around graphic design and cover making and editing on mobile devices, and while i don't really use any of them myself, i wanted to recommend them anyways to new mobile designers in case they didn't know which apps to start out with!

i hope that was helpful ahhhhahahahah i feel so bad whenever i see that mobile editors can't use the psd colorings usually posted in these kinds of books ahaha so i wanted to make sure to include you precious babesssss and if theres anything else you would like to know about mobile editing i will try my best to figure it out! :)
