Some of you may see me
Stumbling as I go
You'll watch me bite my lip
And when asked; shake my head no
You'll think I'm lacking in my confidence
Or that I don't know how to face this world
But you'll never know that this path I walk upon
Is one that cuts my toes
It is paved with fragments of my broken dreams
Of desires I sacrificed in this world
Though this path I walk does make me bleed
To Heaven it also leads
