The group of five was able to get quite a large meal from the buck San tackled for them, feeding their appetites with more than enough. If they weren't traveling, the group probably would have found a way to preserve whatever meat they didn't already use, but unfortunately it would have to be left behind.
Hongjoong and Jongho even took further measures to dispose of the carcass and the fire, leaving absolutely no trace of their stay at the cave.
After getting a couple hours of rest, the pack planned to set off in the direction of Hongjoong and Seonghwa's home that was hidden away in the thick of the forest. It woud take at least a day of traveling as wolves to arrive there.
Yeosang had an unsettled look on his face, which Jongho noticed immediately. "What's wrong?" the Beta asked.
The Omega seemed hesitant to mention his concerns, not wanting to burden the other pack members. "It's just... a day is a long time to be traveling... and w-what if someone crosses us and notices me."
Hongjoong contemplated the possibilities for a moment, agreeing with his brother that even though the four of them surrounded him, it might not be enough to ward others off. They didn't have many wolfsbane darts left.
"We need to mask his scent" San spoke up. "Omega's scents are exremely strong, especially to Alphas. Before, when Hongjoong and I met you here, I could smell Yeosang from almost a mile away from the cave. Just having the four of us surrounding him won't help much."
"So if one of us were to scent him, we could at least conceal it enough to make it home a little more safely?" Seonghwa suggested.
Jongho glanced at his childhood friend, taking a step forward, but halted when Hongjoong added with an uncomfortable expression, "It will need to be from an Alpha. I'm afraid a Beta's scent won't be strong enough to cover an Omega's."
"I don't mind," San inserted before turning to Yeosang, "I mean, only if you're okay with it."
Yeosang bit the inside of his cheek and nodded, looking toward the ground and then back up at Jongho. The younger seemed discontented by the situation, but he didn't speak up in protest.
"Thank you, San." Hongjoong spoke for the rest of the group.
San made sure that his scenting was thorough but quick, trying to shorten the awkward atmosphere as much as possible, while Jongho turned away. He brought up each of Yeosang's wrist, brushing his nose against the soft skin. He moved towards his neck, rubbing the the place where typically a mating mark would be left, hoping that this would be enough to not alarm any unwanted company.
This was the first time the Alpha had ever been so close to an Omega personally. At the fertility lab, he had only ever watched over their cells or stood outside of operating rooms. The vanilla smell of the Omega was unreal. His wolf grew excited as he drew in close to Yeosang, tempted to bite the flesh and leave his own mark in its place. It reminded him just how powerful his Alpha instincts were.
But of course, he couldn't do that. He didn't want to do that, so he withdrew himself.
All members gathered what few belongings were with them, stuffing them into packs and tying them around their waists or ankles, and completely undressed. Hongjoong looked to each member in the eyes, pecking Seonghwa's forehead, nodding toward San, before they all shifted and took off in the opposite direction of the fertility lab.
Hongjoong led the pack diligently, while San took up the caboose in case anything or anyone were to come from behind, being sure to keep Yeosang in his sight at all times.
The scent masking seemed to help immensely. At some point, a couple rogue, female Alphas wandered nearby but neither one seemed to sense anything peculiar from the group, so they continued on without any sort of trouble.
The trip took as long as it was predicted, almost a full twenty-four hours. They only made short stops three different times for water and for San to reapply his jasmine, Alpha scent onto Yeosang.
Everyone seemed to be staying strong through the lengthy trip, not hitting the limit of their endurance. But towards the end, it was evident that Yeosang was growing desperate for a break.
Are you alright? Jongho asked in concern, instinctually rubbing his wolf body along the older's.
Yeosang let out a tired whine, but he didn't slow his pace at all. Yes, I'm fine. I just hope it's not too much further.
We're almost there. Seonghwa reassured.
Just over this hill and we'll be home. Hongjoong added, and just hearing the word home encouraged Yeosang to gather what little strength he had left to persevere up the rest of the way.
When Yeosang walked alongside his older brother over the last stretch that finally revealed the home, the two couldn't help but rejoice. For Yeosang, it has been so long, so seeing the tiny cottage, almost exactly as he had remembered it, brought joyful tears to his eyes.
You're home. Hongjoong quietly said. It was obvious that he was choked up himself.
The house wasn't much. It was quaint in size and there was nothing fancy about it from the exterior or the interior, but because Hongjoong and Seonghwa built it up from the ground themselves, it held a special place in the couple's hearts. And Yeosang has always felt a sense of security in the home.
After shifting back, and redressing, Hongjoong looked at his house in pride. "San, welcome to our home. It's not much and there's not a lot of room, but we will make it work. You can always help me expand it." He winked at the other Alpha before unlocking the front door.
"I like it. It's comfortable. Thank you." San responded politely, looking around the perfectly clean cottage. "You seem to take great care of the place."
"Eh," Hongjoong waved his hand in the air, "All the upkeep is thanks to Seonghwa. I can't take much credit for that." He wrapped his arm around his Beta, beaming with more pride. "Alright, after the day's travels, I say we all deserve to get some rest!"
----------
With a few more hard thrusts, Kim Jaewook finally pulled out, pumping himself for a moment before spraying the back of Wooyoung's thighs with his seed. The tan, smooth skin was now covered in white.
Wooyoung witheld his cries, silencing himself by shoving his face into the old mattress below him, trying to ignore the way his limbs shook from fatigue and agony. As soon as the Alpha leader withdrew his hands from the tight grip he had on Wooyoung's slim waist, leaving bruises in their places, the Omega let his whole body collapse.
This round was too rough. Although his lower half felt numb at the moment, Wooyoung knew that he wouldn't be able to walk properly for a couple days.
But this isn't the first time Jaewook or one of his minions had left him more than achey down below. He could tell by the amound of liquid coating him down there that he must be bleeding once again. They never went easy on him.
"Get up!" Jaewook shouted while he tucked himself back into his pants, "You know you're not staying in here." He grabbed the Omega by his right arm and forced him up from the bed. Every part of Wooyoung convulsed with pain as he was harshly forced to stand. "After the last time you tried to run, you think I would leave you in here." He nodded toward the window where they now had wooden planks nailed over it from the outside.
Wooyoung shook his head in accordance, not wanting to agitate the Alpha any further. He let Jaewook drag him down the hall of the shack, but his legs failed him when he caught sight of the repulsive thing again.
"Let's go!"
Wooyoung's feet wouldn't move, halting him in place while Jaewook aggressively tugged at his arm. By how hard the man was pulling, there would surely be a mark on his upper arm.
"Si Yang and I have a shift in an hour, now stop fooling around." Wooyoung finally gave in, knowing that if he didn't simply comply that the punishment may be dire.
The metal door was pulled open, the creaky sound causing Wooyoung to shiver.
"Crawl in slut." Jaewook spit out, watching as Wooyoung obeyed, shakily getting on all fours, and crawled into the fourty-two by thirty inch dog crate they got especially for him. "You're such an obedient bitch."
The Omega clenched his eyes shut at the words, flinching as Jaewook slammed the door shut and hearing the metal lock be latched.
"Dongjun!" Jaewook called for one of his lackeys. The other entered from one of the other back rooms, "Look after him, but don't touch him. I promised Siyang that he could have him next." Dongjun nodded as the other two left in their Supreme City police uniforms.
At least being left with Dongjun wasn't the worst situation. Jaewook and Siyang liked to find ways to consistently torment the caged Omega, making him feel like even less of a person than he already had. But Dongjun kept to himself, aside from when he took his turns with the Omega.
Right now, the Alpha seemed to be under some stress. Wooyoung watched as Dongjun drank his fourth beer, then his fifth, and then his sixth.
He sat at the dining table, only a couple of feet away from the dog kennel Wooyoung was forced to consider his home. He was drunkenly complaining to no one in particular about his inferior position next to Jaewook, feeling that he was nothing in comparison to the older Alpha.
Wooyoung found it odd that Dongjun tended to follow Jaewook so submissively, but yet, here he is, venting about all of his frustrations towards the male in his intoxicated state. The scene was laughable, which is why the Omega accidentally let a snicker slip past his nose and lips.
Dongjun paused, lifting up his seventh empty beer can into the air. In a hushed, but distraught voice, he uttered, "Huh... I'm so pathetic that even a worthless slut like you can laugh at me."
His words made Wooyoung want to snort again. It was interesting how Supreme city claimed that Omegas were so valuable, but they were treated so worthlessly...
When Dongjun appeared even more irritable, Wooyoung shrunk back in fear, pushing himself to the back wall of the cage, further away from the Alpha. He watched as the Dongjun's arm raised and violently shook with rage.
What Wooyoung thought would be his regret turned into his chance in a matter of seconds.
With all of the intoxicated anger within him, Donjun threw the beer can at the wall across from him. The remaining liquid splattered on the wall and the floor. But the alcohol coursing through the Alpha's veins caused him to lose what little stability he had while he threw it, causing him to fall backwards in his chair, landing harshly on the creaky wooden floors. the impact knocked him out cold.
The scene made Wooyoung gasp, especially when he caught sight of the set of keys that slipped out of Dongjun's pocket from the fall.
By the way Dongjun wasn't moving, aside from his shallow breathing, Wooyoung was pretty sure that he was unconscious, but he wanted to be absolutely sure. "Dongjun" he faintly whispered.
When the body didn't stir, he called again. "Dongjun? Can you hear me?" This time he spoke a little louder, but there still wasn't any indication that Dongjun would awaken. Wooyoung felt safe... enough to take the opportunity presented to him.
Reaching a delicate, shaky hand out from the cage, Wooyoung reached toward the keys that fell only a couple feet away, next to Dongjun's head. It was a far stretch, and the Omega worried if he would be able to reach or not.
Straining, the tips of fingers met with the cool metal of one of the keys. He was stretching so hard, that the bars from crate left indentations in his arm that started to bleed. With the keys finally in his grips, he was able to silently slide them toward himself.
After a couple of trials, Wooyoung found the right key and set himself free. He didn't bother to find himself any clothes and ran straight to the front door, making sure to close it softly behind him to not alert the unconscious Alpha.
All the Omega could do now was run.

I promise I didn't forget about Wooyoung. I know he's had it rough, but things will start to turn around eventually! What are your predictions?
I hope you all are enjoying this story. Sorry if updates are a little slow. As always, please comment, vote, and follow me! I always appreciate it!
