I want you, I need you,
But I prefer you'd stay away,
You're tempting as you try to join me,
As sprawled on the bed I lay.

The notifications pop,
But the alarms are set,
You desperately invite me,
In your safety net.

I hate to do what I detest-
Choosing between you and my virtual reality,
Why is it that you always collide,
Pushing me vers insanity.

I flip back and forth,
A yawn and a reply,
Adding guilty glances as you wait,
For me to say the necessary goodbye.

But you, you have a nasty habit!
Taking over my senses uninvited,
And I can't help but give in
To your comforting dreamy side.

Inspite of your nightmarish effect,
You are what rejuvinates my life,
You're my now and forever,
Through peace and through strife.
