Day 24 : Your Return
You choose to walk out for your happiness,
And come back to remind me of the truth,
That your sincerity masks selfishness,
Your absence hurting like a broken tooth,
You've decidedly used my weakness,
To be a gift and a curse of my youth,
Ever shape-shifting like the bemused sea,
And being as shapeless as clouds can be.

A/N:
Today's poetry form-fitting Ottava Rima! It took me more time to think about a topic than to write this poem. But certain events that happened in my life today gave me enough inspiration to type it down.
Have you experienced something similar? What are your thoughts in this poem?
