Won't you play?
Sarah during one Halloween organized a big party in her house. It was a party for all, more than half of the town, young and old, came around in their scary costumes to celebrate. It was fun at first; loud music, with enough booze to go round, girls to fuck. It was the biggest party in Old Lady's history...and the last they ever saw.
All the fun turned sour in seconds, it was time to pay for her horrible childhood, all the play they had refused her. Crazy Sarah made up a game that night and called it ‘Hide or Die’. It was similar to the childhood game, Hide and Seek but this time, the rules were different, the rules were hers. You hide, she finds you, you die. Fun right?...No, crazy.
Truth be told, when you play games like this one, against demons especially, your chance of survival is slimmer than the eye of a needle. Hell would go cold to win.
She drained their blood and stored them in tanks, fed on their skins, and played with their bones. It was all fun for her. She needed to be stopped and Father Jude was the only man who could rescue the town from total damnation. Father Jude knew the ultimate price was his life and he was ready to give that to save his town. He died in the house trying to put an end to Sarah but she was too powerful, all he achieved was trap her in a Soul glass(the glass box) where she would forever remain. At least, he saved the town. All other survivors flee the town and never returned. Old Lady became abandoned.
After twenty-five years of being trapped in a small glass box, Sarah was free from bondage with James's help. An angry demon lived again. She would kill every little thing that had a life, every little thing that came her way.
James's had been taken, Julie's too, Harley, Becky, and Big Spence were the only ones left. How long before Sarah pin them on the wall and pull their inside out? Perhaps, playing the game could buy them some time.
“I think we have to play the game. Could be the only way out,” Harley said, his voice shaky.
“So, what are we going to do, what? How do we fucking play the game?” Becky cried?.
“I guess we just have to wait for a clue, I don't know,” Harley replied.
“No...the book. The book. That's how we play the game,” Big Spence spoke, wiping his eyes with the back of his hands.
They rushed back to the library to grab their copies. When they opened the books again, one of the pages that were blank now had words written in them. Each of the books had different hints written on their second pages. The hints were unclear.
“Wait, what are we supposed to do with this now?” Becky asked.
“Looks like riddle to me,” Big Spence said.
“Yeah, riddle, mine answers kitchen. ‘There, messes are made, and the mess cleaned, you can make yourself fat or make yourself lean’...That's a kitchen right?” Harley spoke.
“Yeah bro, mine is toilet,” Big Spence responded.
“Mine is guest room,” Becky said.
“This still doesn't make sense to me,” Big Spence said, sat on a wooden chair.
“Chill guys, if the game says ‘Hide or Die’ and we got riddles of places in the house, that could only mean one thing,” Harley spoke.
“Places for us to hide,” Becky concluded.
“Fuck this game. Hide and seek?” Big Spence cursed.
Again, the strange music began to play, sending shivers down their backbones.
“We need to hide now guys. I think the music is the timer. Find your place and hide,” Harley said, ran off to search for the kitchen.
The music stopped after thirty seconds, the lights began to flicker again before finally going off.
Who had Sarah taken this time?
The lights came back on, Harley came out of his hiding place, Big Spence followed, and Becky wasn't out.
