TRIGGER WANRINGS: child abuse, stab wounds, angst.

~Sirius pov~

I grab my duffel bag and start shoving clothes in it enough to get me through a week. Im leaving. I can't take it anymore. The shooting pain in my ankle doesn't stop me from getting everything I need.

I run to Regulus' room where he's sobbing on his bed. I tell him to pack a bag and that we're leaving. " I can't leave Sirius you know I can't"
"I dont fucking care Reg you and I are escaping this hell hole together."

He just shakes his head and stares at me. " Im sorry."
"Reg your coming with me."
"I can't."
"Yes you can"
"Damnit Sirius! Im not leaving"
"Fine"

I look at him tears stinging my eyes. I grab a piece of parchment and write down something's on it for reg. " If you need to leave go to the fire place and say this ok? If that's not and option here's muggle directions."
He gives me a weak smile and nods
"I love you reg."
"I love you to Siri"

And with that I hug him and escape out the window.

I'm crying the whole 2 hour walk to Potter Manor. I just left him. I should have tried harder to get him out of there.

Those are the thoughts that are running through my head when it starts pouring down rain.
"Great just great" tears start pouring out of my eyes again.

When I finally reach Potter Manor I'm soaking wet and bloody from the cut on my arm. My ankle hurts like hell but j Manitoba get to the door and knock on it tears still falling from my eyes.

James opens the door and smiles but then that smile turns into a face of horror.
"Merlin what the fuck did they do to you?!"
I just start sobbing uncontrollably.

James takes me into a bear hug letting me cry into his shoulder. I hear Remus and Peter walking over to us and James releases me so I can see the others.

Remus immediately pulls me into a hug kissing the top of my head. "Are you hurt what
happened?"

"I I- left him there rem I left him"
"Shhh it's gonna be okay siri just breath okay? Regs a strong kid he'll be okay."

He in fact was not okay.

~Regs Pov~

I feel a knife plung through me.
I fall to the floor and see Walburga and Orion leaving the room. I refused to take the mark. And they tried killing me. The addrenaline gives me enough strength to summon a bag I had prepared along with mg wand and the piece of paper Sirius gave me .

I crawl over to the fire place throwing in some floo powder and yelling "potter manor" just as I'm gone I see my parents yelling after me but it's to late.

For some reason the floo takes me to the front stoop of the potters home. Maybe the floo network was experiencing issues.

I stand up holding where the knife was and knock on the door.

James answers and looks shocked. He looks at the knife in my abdomen then at me and starts to panic. He picks me up not saying a word and takes me to the couch sitting me down.
" Oh shit oh shit oh shit Sirius!!!"
He yells.

Sirius comes rushing in Remus on his tail. He sees me and the knife puts two and two together and immediately starts to panic. " Reggie what did they do to you????"
"What does it look like?!"
" They fucking stabbed you??!!"

I nod not being able to talk the adrenaline wearing off.

"Rem go get Effie now!"

Euphemia ,James mom comes rushing in sees the knife but keeps calm.
"James go grab my wand and medical kit.
James does as he's told meanwhile Sirius is sitting next to me muttering apologies.

James comes back with the med kit and wand. Ok Sirius I need you to hold Reggie in place ,James remus I need you two to take those two towels and be ready to cover the wound ok?" They all nod. Euphemia looks at me keeping calm. " Im going to pull out the knife I need you not to panic ok?" I nod fear in my eyes.

Sirius grabs me and holds me in place.Effie grabs the knife handle and yanks it out swiftly.I cry out in pain blood starts gushing out of the wound but James and Remus cover it with the towels stopping the bleeding.

Euphemia grabs her wand and is able to stop the bleeding with a spell.She tells James and Remus to take of the blood soaked towels.

When they do it revels a gaping hole in my abdomen. Sirius bolts out of the room seeing as he has a weak stomach. Remus goes with him to make sure he doesn't puke everywhere. That leaves just James and Effie.

Euphemia grabs the hydrogen peroxide from her med kit. "This is gonna hurt like hell sweetheart but you need to hold still"
I do as she says and she pours a little on the wound.

I almost bite through my bottom lip trying not to cry. She finally is able to bandage the would and gives me a potion so it will heal by tomorrow and leaves the room leaving James and me alone.

He sits down next to me and puts his arm around me pulling me into a hug. He knew I needed it.
I start crying uncontrollably. James rubs my back in an attempt to calm me down. "Hey,shh it's okay Reg I got you, your James has you. Your.What does he mean by your.

"What do you mean y-." Im cut of my Sirius and Remus walking back into the room. Sirius comes and sits beside me. "Hey Reggie, how's the um" he gestures to the bandage on my abdomen. "Still hurts but not to bad anymore now she gave me that potion." Remus chimed in saying " Effie just said she made some hot cocoa come on she's gonna put a muggle movie called "Home alone" on for us."

We all walk into the kitchen where there are 5 steaming mugs of hot cocoa. (If your wondering where Peter is he fell asleep and Effie caught him up and what happed etc)Peter was there holding a can of whipped cream and smiling at me. " I heard what happened did they really stab you Reg?" I nod. "Merlin once the ministry finds out they're done for."

~Sirius Pov~

Euphemia made the dire mistake of trusting us with a can of whipped cream. By the time we all had some on our hot cocoa half was in our mouths the other half on the counter.

Effie walks by and smiles. With a flick of her wand the mess is gone. Were all sitting sipping out hot cocoa when there's banging at the front door making us all jump. I hear Walburga and Orion screaming at the other side of it.

Fleamont and Euphemia walk by us wands drawn. I hear the front door open and more screaming. Reg is shaking terrified. I go and hug him tight "it's okay reg" I look at the others and they already have wands drawn ready to fight.

And that they did.

So I really wanted to write the fight scene but im already at almost 1.5k words so I cut it short.
