Won't Say I'm in Love
Yes, Diane is thinking about Wolf and wondering if she should date him after all she has been hurt before...
Diane was in her office working on a couple of things before she retired for the night and while doing that, she saw she got a text from Wolf.
'Hey, just making sure you're doing well.'
'I am thanks.' She responded.
'Do you need me to come and get you or anything like that?'
'No, I'm fine thanks. I'll see you tomorrow when we all hangout.'
Diane smiled. As the Crimson Paw she never had friends or a close family like the reformed good guys were but since she met them, they had all accepted her and invited her into their family and she loved it.
She found herself always trying to make time to see them. She couldn't ask for a better family, but when it came to Wolf it was a different story.
Wolf the one who swept her off her feet. She knew the first moment they met he was the one for her, regardless of his bad guy status. She managed to see right through his whole con of turning good, but there was that charming and flirtatious side of him that she found irresistible, and she wanted to get to know him better.
The whole Meteorite thing really threw her off and she knew he didn't do it because he was with her the whole time and while he was in jail, they had often spoke to each other and it was playful flirting and now she was texting him late at night.
'Alright, well I come and get you tomorrow I have something I want to talk to you about. Good night love you.'
Diane was surprised by this and smiles responding back.
'Good night, love you too.'
She sat back in her chair and sighed taking off her glasses. The rest of the crew teased them non-stop about them hooking up and how they should just kiss already.
Neither she or Wolf stopped them and word around the city was buzzing that they might be dating. She had feelings for Wolf and knew he returned the feeling and guessed that was what he was going to ask her since he seemed to try so many times but failed.
Relationships weren't her strong suit; sure, she had been out with a couple of guys, but it was her ex that worried her about being in another relationship. Her ex-Rocco had been slightly abusive, while she was the Crimson Paw, he accused her of being with the Crimson Paw and sure she told everyone he broke up with her, but she broke up with him mostly because she had caught him kissing girls a couple of times and she didn't want to go through that. She was debating, her mind and brain were telling her not to date Wolf, but her heart said yes.
She started singing while holding a picture.
'If there's a prize for rotten judgement, I guess I've already won that. No man is worth the aggravation.
'Thats ancient history been there done that.'' She sang.
She heard voices from the small radio that came on.
('Who you think you're kidding he's the earth and heaven to you try to keep it hidden, honey we can see right through you.')
'Oh no!' Diane said.
('Girl you can't conceal it. We know how your feel and who you're thinking of.')
'No chance, no way, I won't say it no, no.
(You Swoon, you sigh, why deny it Uh-no)
It's still cliché, I won't say I'm in love.
(Sho doo, sha doo, doo doo doo.)
'I thought my heart had learned it lesson, it feels do good when you start out, my head is screaming get a grip girl, unless you're dying to cry your heart out.'
Diane was singing and walking around her big office and looked at the pictures of the good guys.
('You keep on denying who you are and how your feeling, baby we ain't buying. Hon, we saw you hit the ceiling.)
('Face it like a grown up, when you gonna own up that you got, got, got it baaad!')
No chance, no way I won't say it no, no.
She almost tripped but grabbed the water cooler that was standing there. Someone got a picture of her and Wolf during the art gallery when they first met and she remembered his trick and how she was disappointed.
('Check the grin you're in love.')
'This scene won't play; I won't say I'm in love.' She covers her ears.
(You're doing flips, read our lips you're in love')
'Your way off base I won't say it.
(She won't say it.')
Get off my case I won't say it.
(Girl don't be proud, its O.K. you're in love.)
She looked at the picture in her paw of Wolf dipping her when they were at the gala and the way they looked at each other, it was her favorite as she grins hugging the picture as she slides to the couch and lays back.
'At least out loud I won't say I'm in love.'
She giggles and knows she loved Wolf and if he asked her, she would say yes, to dating him. She sat up and turned off the radio.
''I need to go to bed.'' She turned off the lights and left.
