Diane's ex comes to visit...

One afternoon Governor Diane Foxington was at home in the condo working on some paperwork. She sighed as she signed and read lists and ideas. She was wearing a white tee shirt with black pants and her glasses on. She then heard her phone go off and saw a text.

'Hey babe, got what you wanted and, on my way, back.'

She smiled texting back. 'Great see Ya when you get here.'

She then got up to get a drink when she heard her doorbell go off. She raised an eyebrow and placing her gun behind the faux plant by the door and answered it only to see her old ex-boyfriend.

''Hey Diane.'' The red muscular fox said.

''Rocco?'' She asked surprised.

He slightly pulled on his leather vest jacket and placed his hand on his hips wearing ripped jeans with a couple tattoos on his arms. ''Yep, the one and only.''

He then picked her up in a tight hug walking in and placing her down. ''Boy you sure haven't changed.'' He admired her.

She straightened up. ''Still a big flirt as ever, neither have you.'' She rolled her eyes.

''Hey what can I say.'' He chuckled eyeing her.

''So, what brings you here?'' She asked shaking her head as she continued drinking as she leaned back on the wall.

''Oh, well I was in the neighborhood passing by and heard you lived her and you're the governor now and I had to see for myself. Though I thought you would have guards or something.'' He said thinking of the lack of security.

''Oh? Who says I don't have security?'' She teased placing the glass in the sink and turned to the male fox who was looking at her.

''Well, they weren't around, someone might try to break in or something.'' He said in a low voice.

''Yeah, well trust me they wouldn't get far. Besides I sent my security to get something for me so he should be back soon.'' She said smirking.

''I see, so I thought we could go out and catch up.'' Rocco said.

''Why not catch up here? Besides I have plans this evening that I can't get out of.'' She said not wanting to open the can of worms with Rocco after he broke up with her.

''I see well ok.'' He sat down and patted the seat next to Diane who rolled her eyes and sat in the armchair.

''So, how's life going? Still in that gang of yours?'' Diane asked taking off her glasses.

''As a matter of fact, yes and we are still going strong.'' He said flashing a charming smile at her.

''Ahh, somethings never change.'' Diane said standing up.

Rocco joined her. ''Make yourself comfy I'm going to the bathroom.'' She said leaving the room.

Rocco looked around and saw pictures of Diane with a group of animals on her fridge and a one of them all together. A spider on her shoulder, while a Wolf, Pirahna, and her were in the arms of a shark in a big group hug with a large snake wrapped around them next to fox holding a push pop.

''What the heck?'' He noticed how the Wolf had his paw on her hip.

Suddenly the door opened, and he turned and saw the same wolf come in with a bag of groceries and place them on the table.

Rocco went over with his pistol cocking and pointing it. ''Who are you and what are you doing here?!'' He demanded.

Wolf turned around and raised an eyebrow and whipped out his gun. ''I could ask you the same question.'' He growled.

''I'm Rocco Diane's boyfriend.'' He spat.

Wolf started chuckling and placed the gun away and went over to him. ''Boyfriend since when? Because there has to be some mistake, I'm her boyfriend Moe Wolf.'' He took Rocco's hand shaking it.

''Wait! No, the Crimson Paw was already caught.'' Rocco said hearing the news.

Wolf shook his head. ''Yeah, he is caught, but she moved on to me so what are you doing here?'' Wolf asked.

''Simple I'm here to win Diane back.'' He said placing his gun away and smirking at the Wolf.

Suddenly Diane came out and saw them. ''Oh, good Wolf your back.'' She went over and kissed his cheek.

Wolf then grabbed her dipping her in a quick passionate kiss and pulled her up right looking at the annoyed look on Rocco's face. Diane was blushing and giggling.

''Yeah, and I finally got to meet your ex.'' Wolf said playing it cool.

''Yes so, no introduction needed. Great me and Rocco were just catching up.'' She said.

''Ahh I see.'' Wolf said calmly.

''Wait, you're dating a wolf?! Boy Diane talk about desperate; you dig him up from a trash can?'' He shot back.

''No, actually she dug me up from a tunnel.'' Wolf said smirking as he leans forward on the back of the chair.

''Yes, Rocco I am dating Moe here.'' She said.

''Oh, simple Diane always going for the most famous, the ''bad guy who is reformed.'' He put up air quotes.

''I picked him for more than that.'' Diane said glaring at Rocco.

''Yep, it was for my body and wonderful sense of humor and my troublemaking ways.'' Wolf said proudly.

Diane let out a giggle shaking her head. She noticed Rocco seemed to be irritated. ''Hey, Wolf, I was talking to my ex not you.'' He shot back.

Wolf shrugged.

''So, moving onto wolves huh no foxes trying to boost up your ratings?'' Asked Rocco moving closer to Diane.

''Yeah, I mean why not, he showed me what it was like to have a family and he accepted me for who I am.'' She said.

''He's a wolf he'll sleep with another wolf and leave you like that.'' Rocco sneered getting closer to Diane about to grab he wrist.

He was shoved back and saw Wolf glaring at him baring his teeth. ''Don't you ever talk that way to Diane or to my species again! One thing you forget about wolves is that we are incredibly loyal, and we never leave our mates.'' Wolf snarled as he had Rocco pinned to the wall.

The fox looked a bit scared, and this shocked Diane who had never seen Rocco look this way. ''You maybe with Diane but I had her first.'' Rocco shot back.

''True, but I will be her only and last mate since you let her go and unlike you, I don't try to control Diane, make her do things she not comfortable with, and I would never accuse her of cheating on me without proof.'' Wolf said in a deep growl.

He let Rocco go and backed up going over next to Diane.

''So, why did you really come here?'' Asked Diane to her ex.

''I did come to win you back. I want you to move back in with me, I've changed, and I want another chance.

''Rocco, you hurt me, you accused me of having an affair with the Crimson Paw, when you never told me anything that you and your gang were doing.'' She said.

''We were like a family Diane better than a mixed-up group of animals.'' He nodded to the pictures.

''Well, this family I'm with is the best I've ever had, and they treat me like a member and let me in on their plans and things.'' Diane said walking over to Rocco and standing in his face.

''You have changed but your still young and if you want me back, I'll be around you know to call.'' Rocco said about to stroke her cheek.

He felt Diane take his paw and flip him on his back and he looked up stunned. ''We are never getting back together and don't touch me. I think you should leave.'' She got off and dusted off her shirt as Rocco went to the door.

''This isn't the end I'll be back and I'm sure you will change your mind.'' Rocco said blowing a kiss to Diane and walked out the door shutting it.

''Well, he was fun.'' Wolf joked.

''Nice one Wolf.'' She wrapped her arms around his neck.

''Thanks.'' She kisses him as he kisses back, and they pulled away.

''Oh, I got the stuff you wanted.'' Wolf said.

''Great! Well shall we get cooking?'' She asked smiling.

''Yep.'' They went into the kitchen.
