Vows

Zane

It seemed to take me forever to get back to her.

I wasn't quite sure how she would take our first night as a married couple and already it was off to a heavy start.

It surprised me when Marisol and Cathy left so quickly upon my arrival back home until she jumped into my arms, wrapping herself around me as if I'd disappear at any moment.

"Oh, Zane!"

"Pet.." I kissed her tenderly, carrying her to our bed—a bed that I noticed she had placed new bedding on, "Oh, it's lovely."

"The set was a wedding gift from Cathy."

"Brings out your eyes," I smiled, roaming my hands all over her body as we settled in to make love. I craved it and could tell she was so deeply invested in the passion overtaking us that a tear streamed down her cheek.

I kissed it away and settled back, "Don't cry, pet. I told you I was coming back."

Zelda

"You did.." I melted into his arms until I could barely process his cock slipping inside of me.

His guttural moans were music to my ears as he drove into me. I craved it, I wanted him—needed everything he gave to me.

"I love you.." I said, "I love you...I love you.."

"I love you, pet.." he grunted, "I want to sire these perfect pups we're going to have—yes...fuck...yes.."

"Pups.."

Zane smiled, "Millions."

I laughed as he stroked me time and time again until we were both spent.

Holding me in his arms after our first lovemaking session as a true couple, I was happy, but so scared—scared that our marriage wasn't going to cause an alliance.

It was going to start a war.

"You know that we'll be here for a while—just the two of us, right?"

"Making a home.."

"Exactly and that's what I want you to do—make our home for us."

"Me?"

"I know you don't have many things, but I can give you what I can, even though I want to give you the world."

"Zane, you are giving me the world."

Zane

That made me happy to hear, but I couldn't give her the world.

I hadn't the money or status for that—not like her family who could give her everything.

As we got into a routine, I noticed the little things were truly what made her happy: cooking together, me playing music for her, me watching her knit and crochet—which she was very skilled at.

She even enjoyed tidying the kitchen, which I hated to do.

"I don't get to do this at home," she said, "I always tried, but my parents thought we were above the servants."

"Did you have ANY friends? I know I've asked this before,-"

She'd sigh and tell me the same thing, "They were told not to be my friends. I don't know why."

"Did you ever become friendly with nobility?"

"Pompous—all of them. I cared not to be their friend, but I was very cordial."

She'd tried making friends, but no one cared about the true Zelda Rue.

Only me—only my family—and now we were hers.

Zelda

I was giving him my heart and it was the greatest thing ever.

"What color would you like to paint this room?"

We stood in the doorway of the guest room.

"Or can I show you some ideas that I have for a home?"

"A home? You were being serious? You'd build us another home?"

"A bigger, better home with rooms for our children."

I smiled and took his hand, "Show me the blueprints."

We sat at kitchen table as Zane showed me the layout for a bigger home—a home that would fit our future needs and the needs of our children.

"We'd build it right on the outskirts of the village," he said, "I have land."

"More land? Than this?"

"I am also going to see about our cave. I will have to purchase it from the landowner, but I have Craig looking into it for me."

I kept listening to him talk and fell more and more in love with him as the days passed us by.

We heard nothing from my family for quite some time, but that didn't mean much.

Plotting was what they were most likely doing and Zane was developing a plan to infiltrate somehow.

"I don't like it.."I pouted one day, "You're going to get our people killed."

He was my Alpha, but as his Luna—he respected my opinion.

"I do know this," he said as we cooked dinner together, "But I have been doing this a long time, pet. You've got to trust the process."

"You've got to trust me when I say they will not hesitate to,-"

"I know what your people are capable of."

Having said that, I let the matter go.

I knew what they were capable of, too.
