"STOP IM FINE! It's just a cut!" I groaned

We were sitting on the couch.

He had took out a kit of medicine.

Jack had carried me home, he refused to let me do anything

He didn't even let me grab a cup of water.

"I'm worried about you.." he mumbled

"I'm fine. Where were you the past few days?"

"I was in the mansion. I got into a problem...but that doesn't matter"

"What kind of problem?" I pressured him into telling me.

"It's complicated. Did you eat lunch?" He asked

I shook my head

"I'll make you something okay?" He took off his mask and placed it onto the table.

"Why aren't you mean to me anymore?" I asked as he got up.

"What are you talking about? Im always mean" he replied before heading towards the kitchen.

"Jack? How'd you get my number?"

"Ben" he called out from the kitchen

I scoffed

Of course it's Ben

I grabbed out my phone and scrolled through my Instagram.

As seconds turned into minutes I was still sitting on the couch waiting for Jack.

Eventually a delectable smell made its way to me.

It made my stomach growl hungrily

Jack came out with a sandwich that was plated beautifully

He sat next to me and placed the plate down onto the table.

"Sorry to make you babysit me all the time" I frowned

He laughed.

"I wouldn't have to if you didn't get into a mess every minute"

I smiled and I felt my eyes soften

I took the plate and began to eat.

"Hey.... Y/N... Come here" Jack whispered

"What?" I muffled with my mouth full of bread, lettuce, tomato and chicken.

He pat the couch seat next to him.

I shuffled a bit closer.

I titled my head confusingly, waiting for him to do something

"Y/N.." he mumbled as he leaned closer to me.

"I just wanted to say....."

"Hi" He purred

"Man... Seriously?" I groaned, slapping his arm

He began to laugh.

"No hi back?" He frowned

"No. I'll give you a bye though." I mimicked his frown back

"Piggy. Can I stay with you? Or take you with me back to the mansion?"

"What? You can stay, but no way am I going back there."

"Why not? I'll protect you" he crossed his arms

"I don't fit in- wait that came out wrong. I didn't mean that you guys are all bad guys- OKAY SO WHAT I MEAN IS THAT You're a big family and it's weird that I just randomly popped in" I took a big bite out of the sandwich

"You can be family. ...No...You're already family to them" EJ softly said

I notice that whenever we talked about serious things he would talk in a softer and sweeter voice.

Normally he had a emotionless serious as*hole voice.

"Can you just stay with me?" I asked as I looked up at him

He paused

He hesitated before saying "Okay"

"Hey Wolfie? I saw this cool thing online. It was a festival celebrating the spirit world's peace and love. LETS GOOO! There's food!" I exclaimed with happiness

"Uh....uhhhhh....I don't think-"

I whimpered

"Ahhh.... uhhhh....-"

I looked down sadly.

He narrowed his eyes.

"Suuuuureee...." he murmured

"WHY DONT YOU WANNA GO? THERES BUBBLE TEA, BUBBLE WAFFLE, SPONGE CAKE, BARBECUE AND BURRITOS" I whined

"I think I wanna go?" He said unsurely

"Okay I'll just go alone with my imaginary friend Bella" I said with a pout

"Okay"

"WOW. " I cried. I let a exaggerated sigh as I slumped down onto the couch

"Y/N do you have sunglasses?"

"Why?"

"Because i chanced my mind...I'm going with you"

"No I don't want you anymore" I hissed

"I love you."

"No" I growled

"But you know you love me too"

"True, But right now I hate you"

"No you don't. Come on. I'll even hug you" he moved until our legs and shoulders touched.

I was getting squished by him.

I hummed

"1 million hugs and I'll forgive you" I couldn't help but smile

"Okay." He pulled me into a hug

For the first time his body relaxed to my touch.

He seemed to want my hug.

"One"

He let go of me, breaking the hug.

Then he pulled me back into one

"Two"

"Even though I love your hugs. You can stop." I said in between hugs

He stopped hugging me.

"Okay"

"No wait come back. I lied" I whined as I opened my arms.

He gave me a big bear hug again.

This time with a smile on his face.

"Y/N... My girl" He cooed

"Jack....ma boi" I cooed back in the same voice

"My girlfriend...."

"Yes? My boyfriend?" I asked

"When's the festival?"

"Tomorrow at 7pm"

"Let's go"

"Okay." I nuzzled into him, snuggling closer into his arms.

"Okay I need to use the washroom. Excuse me" he then retracted his arms and left.

The warmth of his body left.

I frowned, but immediately I got distracted by the sandwich that I had forgotten to eat.

I gobbled it down In a few second

I heard in the background a flush of the toilet

I was not convinced he actually used the washroom.

Then I heard the sink run for a few seconds.

Atleast 30 before all the noise stopped.

Then I soon later saw him come out from the hallways.

I stared at him.

He looked behind him.

Then looked back at me.

"What?" He asked

"Did you really use the washroom?" I eyed him suspiciously "or did you just leave because you didn't want to hug me"

"Yes I used the washroom Y/N. I need to do some toilet stuff too ya know....." he said with a strange expression

I narrowed my eyes
