Chapter 9- Sierra

"Sierra?" Angel asked confused. "Who's that?"

Keighley stood up happily. "Sierra is my friend I told you about. The day in the hospital. Remember?"

Angel nodded in response. "But isn't she dead?" She asked.

"Yeah. Aren't you dead?" Keighley asks curiously.

"Well, I didn't expect you'd have a problem with me being alive." Sierra replied dryly. She had an icy blue fur, which almost made her look as if she had a layer of ice around her entire body. She had a black muzzle, and a strange white line around her neck. She had a beautiful purple shine in her eye. She had a little fur growing over her eyes. She flipped it over to the side and continued. "I managed to survive."

Keighley looked shocked. Angel was a little surprised herself. "How is that possible?" Keighley asked, curious.

"You can do that?" Angel asked.

Sierra sighed and flipped the fur out of her eyes again. "Well, I didn't know I could do it at first. But after Keighley ditched me," Keighley looked at the ground, obviously ashamed. "I was kind of desperate to survive. I warped to this realm, and miraculously, survived."

"I didn't know that was possible!" Keighley exclaimed. She was apparently surprised about the fact you could heal by switching Realms.

"Hey, I didn't know either until that." Sierra admitted. "But, heck, I would've been better off waking up and getting my mate to alert someone"

"Why?" Angel and Keighley asked at the same time.

"Well, let's look at the fact I healed in the Dream Realm." Sierra said.

"What's wrong with that?" Angel asked.

"Well, I healed in the Dream Realm, not in real life." Sierra looked down and sighed.

Angel looked sadly at Sierra. She was stuck in the dream realm?

Sierra looked back up, angry. "I tried to get to the real world. I kept thinking to my self, 'I can make it back and get help.' But..."

"You were dead." Keighley simply said.

Sierra nodded in response. "I ended up where I thought I would see my mate in my bed. Well, let's just say I saw the opposite of that. I ended up I'm some sort of... Well, limbo, I guess. It was just a blank room. No, it wasn't even a room. It was just... Nothing."

Angel looked surprised. "How do you even get out of Limbo?" She asked. Keighley seemed like she wanted to know the same thing.

"Well. I just thought to my self, 'Go too the dream realm.' And poof. I was here."

"So..." Keighley began. "You're basicly stuck in the dream realm. Forever."

"Yes, basicly."  Sierra answered, flipping the fur out of her eyes once again.

"Why are you specifically in this dream realm?" Keighley asked again. Angel grunted for help; she was still on the ground from the attack, and her side hurt from when she was knocked back. Keighley hurried over and helped her up.

"Well, I could switch dream realms, but I thought maybe you'd come back to see the dream realm. Well, you didn't." Sierra looked angrily at Keighley.

"I was afraid, OK? I didn't want to get killed like you did."

Angel coughed a little, putting "Not dead" in the middle of the coughs.

"Like I thought you did." Keighley corrected herself. "I came back once!"

Sierra groaned. "You did. But you kept on switching realms. I couldn't catch up with you." She looked at Angel. "Why were you here with this girl tonight?"

Keighley looked surprised at the fact Sierra asked the question. At least that's what it looked like to Angel. "Well, this is Angel. She's a roamer like you and I, but... She isn't to sure how to control it yet. Last night she was attacked and critically injured. Like, almost to the point of death."

"Like me." Sierra said.

"Yes, like you." Keighley confirmed. "But she was attacked by the same wolf. In one of the dream realms. The meeting room."

"So. Did she come here on purpose today?" Sierra asked.

"No." Keighley answered. "She doesn't know how. I literally just taught her how to switch dream realms."

"Hmm." Sierra said. "Then why were YOU here?"

"After the attack, I was a bit worried. We also had a huge fight in the dinner room, so I was kind of scared Angel would get hurt." Keighley explained.

"Oh." Sierra said. All three of them sat in silence for a while, looking around at the damp ground. The rain had stopped now, leaving the sun shining through the cracks in the clouds. Little rabbits started to hop out of their burrows and they jumped around. Sierra turned and growled, which caused them to quickly escape to the safety of underground. After a few minutes, Keighley looked at Angel.

"I'm going to wake you up." She said. "Just wait here until I do." Keighley started to fade away and disappear. After a couple of seconds, she was gone. Sierra looked at Angel.

"You were attacked by the wolf too?" Sierra asked.

"Yeah." Angel answered. "I've been thinking about who it is, but I can't seem to figure it out."

"All I know is that he is an alpha. And he's a boy, of course."

"Wait, how do you know he is an alpha?" Angel asked.

"He said, 'I will find you in three days with my entire pack.' But three days later, I was killed.'" Sierra answered.

"So your saying that he attacked you instead of your entire fellow pack?"

"Yes." Sierra answered. Angel fought about this for a minute. This meant that she  wouldn't have to worry about her pack, if it was going to go the same way it did for Sierra. She could get Keighley and Sierra on her side to fight the shadowy wolf. And then it hit her.

Out of the blue, from nowhere, she figured it out. The wolf that was shot, she remembered seeing when she was little, just a pup. That was the only time she had ever seen him. But why would a member of her own pack be a scout for another pack? Unless... Dontas was a traitor.
