Two moons have pasted since the kittypets came into the forest and wolf star was already choosing who to take to the gathering from the top of the high ledge he mewed "for the gathering I shall take badger fang,foxtail,ash flower,finch flower,tiger heart and storm claw and moon flower  the cats nodded and wolf star dismissed them and the cats went to eat and wolf star went to share tounges with his mate moon flower and share a nice fat juicy crow so he went to the fresh-kill pile and grabbed a bird and went over to a tree and sat beside and he saw moon flower heading toward him and then moon flower laid down beside him and wolf star mewed "I picked out a nice fat juicy bird for us to share moon flower" then moon flower looked at wolf star and meowed "thanks wolf star" so wolf star and moon flower talked and then it was night and wolf star gathered his cats together and headed to the gathering the gathering spot and feather clan was the last to arrive and the cats from different clans were talking to each other then a yowl sounded from the great ledge and yellow star meowed " the gathering shall start wolf star how about you go first" then wolf star nodded and stepped forward and meowed  "my clan has had a few troubles in the past moons my claw was driven out of its territory by some rogues but then my friend stone claw the leader of the tribe of endless waters helped to  drive the rogues out he even helped with some of his cats  and prey is running well and we exiled two cats called blizzard claw and snow pelt and we have a new warrior called fox tail yellow  star?" Then yellow star stepped forward and meowed "my clan is fighting green-cough green-cough has spreaded every where and moon clan medicine cat is going through a rough time fighting the green-cough we lost a warrior due to green-cough and that warrior was stone heart  stone heart was brave and strong and fearless warrior and prey is running well dapple star?" Then dapple star stepped forward and mewed "my clan is doing well and we have a new warrior called hawk fur" the cats chanted his name and dapple star silenced them and mewed "night star?" Then night star stepped forward and mewed "my clan has found enough prey to last and the prey is doing well and that's all I have to say" then wolf star mewed " then that means gathering over" the leaders jumped off the great ledge and the leaders  flicked their tails to tell their cats  to follow them and the cats got into their groups and went to camp.Back at camp tiger heart was organizing the night patrol "fox tail and badger fang and flame pelt and mist heart on night patrol fox tail shall lead the eneving patrol" fox tail nodded and got into the patrol and ran to leave then the clan settled down for night moon flower went into the nursery and curled beside dawn kit and tiger heart and  leopard claw went into the warriors den and finch flower and ash flower went into the medicine cats den and wolf star went into his den and storm claw went into the elders den and the cats feel asleep in their dens then tiger heart lifted his head seeing some bright and orange and a black cloud covered the warriors den then when tiger heart sniffed the air he knew what it was it was fire then once tiger heart knew it was fire he yowled "FIRE LEAVE CAMP AT ONCE" the cats in the warriors den woke up in alarm and raced out of the warriors den and tiger heart yowled "GET TO THE RIVER" tiger heart ran to nurser and yowled "FIRE GET TO RIVER AND DON'T TAKE YOUR EYES OFF YOUR KITS" moon flower woke up and grabbed dawn kit and then tiger heart ran to apprentices den and yowled "FIRE GET OUT GET TO THE LAKE NOW DON'T LOOSE SIGHT OF YOUR DENMATES" then wolf paw white paw and wolf paw and cedar paw and moon paw  got up and ran and the tiger heart ran to elders den and yowled "FIRE GET  TO THE LAKE NOW" the elders woke up and alarm and tiger heart helped the oldest elder small claws
to the lake and once the elders where out the den tiger heart ran to medicine cats den and yowled "FIRE GO GET TO LAKE" finch flower quickly garbed some herbs and ran behind her mentor and one the cats where out sight tiger heart ran to the entrance and then he remembered wolf star and tiger heart ran to wolf stars den and yowled "FIRE!" Wolf star woke  up alarmed and ran to the lake and then tiger heart ran off to the entrance and got out of camp just in time because a branch caught on fire and fell blocking the entrance and the cats where out of camp by the time then the fire caught onto the bramble bush that led to the elders den and the the old tree that is the elders den a tree that's top is missing that den caught on fire and then the warriors log and stick den caught on fire and the prey pile caught fire a tree fell onto the high ledge and the tree was on fire.Tiger heart watched the mist clan camp get destroyed and he raced toward his clan mates and called them together and yowled "Is everyone here?" He saw the familiar faces of badger fang,flame pelt,fox tail and mist heart they must have fled after they saw their clan mates fleeing wolf star meowed "this is the second time we have gotten a fire in our camp" then ash flower mewed "it must be sign from starclan saying we shouldn't live here anymore" then finch flower mewed "but what if it ins't a sign form starclan because one of has been hot for a some days and we haven't gotten rain for some moons" then  ash flower looked at her apprentice and mewed "well your I guess your right finch flower" then moon flowers terrifying Yowl made the cats look at her and moon flower mewed terrified "WHERE IS DAWN KIT?!?" Then tiger heart looked at her and mewed " I thought you where carrying her" then moon flower mewed "I was but I couldn't see through the Smoke and dawn kit must've fallen from my mouth because I thought I was still carrying her because a piece of her fur must've stayed in my mouth" then wolf star yowled to tiger heart to go back to find dawn kit tiger heart nodded and ran off to find dawn kit tiger heart couldn't see dawn kit in the smoke but then he heard helpless mewing coming from the edge of the gorge tiger heart couldn't see a small white shape hanging from the side of the gorge but then the mewling came from over head and he saw the small white shape clinging to a tree branch but the tree was on fire so he jumped with all his strength and he landed steadily on the branch dawn kit was on and he raced along the tree branch and grabbed dawn kit and jumped off the tree branch and landed on tiger heart landed on his feet on the ground stiffly and tiger heart his grip tightened on dawn kits scruff and he ran to where the cats where and put the kit down gently at moon flower feet and moon flower started to clean the smoke stains on the kit and tiger heart went over to a rock and started to clean the smoke stains off his  black and brown and scarred pelt his dark blue eyes shining.the medicine cats where examining cats to make sure they had no scars or wounds wolf star looked at tiger heart and meowed "tiger heart catch some fish for the clan please" tiger heart nodded and stood up and stretched and went hunting.well tiger heart was getting fish the cats where talking the elders were talking to each other but elders where being trouble "storm claw when will ever stop cleaning yourself?" Small claws complained "what do  you say small claws?" Strom claw mewed "I said when will you ever stop cleaning your self?" Grunted small claws "oh well I need to get this smoke scent off" storm claw growled "calm down guys" hissed snow fang "oh please snow fang since when do I say you could act as my and storm claws mother" snapped small claws " because I can I used to be a queen so what's you think I can't small claws?" Hissed snow fang "next time don't complain about how small my claws are like you did last because last time when you complained about my claws being small I gave you a rip in the ear " small claws laughed  "not funny small claws " grunted snow fang. Dawn kit was climbing all over moon flower and moon flower was playing with dawn kit and dawn kit pawed moon flowers neck " I will be the greatest warrior this clan has ever seen" dawn kit laughed "I will be the blind and useless elder" laughed moon flower "I might even be a leader" mewed dawn kit then dawn kit jumped off moon flower and moon flower rolled onto her side and meowed "dawn kit you said leader right?" Then dawn meowed "yep" then moon flower meowed " dawn kit come with me" dawn mews "ok mama" dawn kit followed moon flower to the elders and the elders finished there snapping and growling and hissing at each other and looked at dawn and moon flower and moon flower mewed " can one of you guys explain our old leader to dawn kit" storm claw came forward and meowed " I will " moon flower mews " thanks storm claw" storm claw sat and curled his tail around his paws "dawn kit our leader before your father wolf star his old name was wolf claw and we had a leader called dawn star and dawn star looked just like you and we'll dawn star was a strong,kind,caring leader but she died on a night like this one there was fire". "Woah!" Mewed dawn kit "I am going to play with my mom again thanks for telling me about dawn star" dawn kit meowed running off "your welcome youngster" storm claw mewed "now where were ?" Storm claw meows turning to his denmates " growling and hissing and snarling at each other over a dumb mouse!" Hissed small claws " oh yea now I remember " growled storm claw "now listen I claimed the mouse first so it's mine!" Snapped small claws "NO I CLAIMED IT FIRST" hissed snow fang "NO ITS MINE" snapped storm claws.
