It has been five moons since wolf star  made clover paw,crow paw and lily paw apprentices and wolf star was enjoying the heat but then a yowl came from the bushes around camp and moon clan cats ran into camp hissing claws unsheathed and some cats were snarling all the cats unsheathed their claws and the apprentices were ready for the challenge wolf star leaped off the high ledge claws unsheathed and he was hissing the moon clan leader was lunging for him he dodged the attack and he lunged for yellow stars side dawn frost was being cornered by river heart,oak fur and night claw and fire claw then white claw lunged for night claw while cedar heart lunged for oak fur and wolf heart lunged for fire claw and leopard claw lunged for river heart. Tiger heart was battling moon scar heather paw was attacking stone claw along with clover paw,crow paw and lily paw and leaf paw and smoke paw then Mist heart lunged for the new moon clan warrior pale claw and red stripe and shadow pelt were working together battling golden heart then a yowl sounded and another moon clan battle patrol raced in cinder heart attacked small leg "were's moon flower when you need her?!?"Wolf star wished. Blue  stream was battling moon pool. Wolf star then saw dawn frost chase off oak fur and then white claw chased fire claw off then the clan was chasing moon clan warriors away along with moon clan apprentices. The clan was panting but no one was injured but silver fur finch flower ran toward silver fur with herbs and finch flower tended to silver furs wounds. Wolf star was laying on his side and he heard a cat above him yowling "NO OH NO NO NO" he recognized it was Cedar heart Finch flower came running and recognized he was losing a life Wolf star suddenly coughed and woke up and he stood up "Tiger heart take a patrol to make sure Moon Clan have fully left our territory take who you like" Wolf star mewed Tiger heart nodded "Cedar heart,Wolf heart,white claw,badger fang, and fox tail and heather paw come me red stripe lead another patrol take shadow pelt,dawn frost,blue stream and snow claw and moon heart we will need two patrols in case we meet another moon clan battle patrol" tiger heart mewed red stripe nodded and gathered her patrol and left camp and tiger heart left behind with his patrol then a painful yowl came from the entrance of the nursery if sounded like
Cinder heart he went to the nursery Cinder heart was having her kits! "Leaf paw go and get tiger heart and bring his patrol back!" Wolf star told the apprentice who was taking a bird to the elders the apprentice nodded and ran to the elders and gave the bird to the elders and ran off out of camp another painful hiss came from Cinder heart and Finch flower came in the nursery with the herbs she needed. Wolf star heard pounding feet and he smelt the air he realized it was Tiger hearts patrol he could smell fear scent coming from Tiger heart as the patrol ran into camp Leaf paw was in the lead "Leaf paw found as we were patrolling the borders" Tiger Heart retorted "no sign of moon clan battle patrols" cedar Heart reported Tiger heart ran off to the nursery "Five she-kits and a tom!" Wolf star heard Finch flower mewed  happily Wolf star raced to the nursery "congratulations Tiger heart" wolf star congratulated his deputy "Thanks wolf star" tiger heart mewed the kits were mewling as they crawled to their mother side their was a full white she cat and there was another full white she cat with some of its mothers markings and then there was a full black  tom with and bit of brown on the tips of it fur and and another full white she cat and a white she with a black tail also as Wolf star pushed threw the nursery entrance outside he went to the fresh-kill pile and grabbed a bird off of it and went to the lay down to eat it. When Wolf star was down eating he looked up at silver pelt and sent a prayer to star clan hoping the kits and the nursing queen would survive Wolf star went to the den as he was heading for his den he was the night patrol leave once Wolf star made it to his den he went inside and made himself comfortable in his nest he laid down and  curled his tail around his paws and put his head on his paws he coughed a little.

The next morning Wolf star woke up and stood up and walked outta of his den and he went to the fresh-kill pile he saw Dawn frost at the pile grabbing a squirrel off the pile she  looked at her father Wolf star and nodded to him respectfully and left toward white claw  and Dawn frost and White claw shared the squirrel.Wolf star grabbed a squirrel for himself he went and laid down and he thought moon flower would come out of the elders den to share the squirrel with him but instead it was Ash flower who came out of the elders den and she laid down and basked in the sun he sighed and looked down at the squirrel he then remembered Moon flower was died  he ate the squirrel silently. Ash flower came over to Wolf star "hey you ok?" Ash flower asked "hm- oh um ya I am fine Ash flower why'd you asked?" Wolf star mewed that sat up after he finished his squirrel "let me guess it's Moon flower your sad about" ash flower meowed "ya" wolf star said then walked away before ashflower could say more. Heather paw and her mentor ran into camp and heather paw came up to wolf star and explained that they ran into a feather clan patrol on their territory and that they said they would drive us out of our territory "we will fight them then" Wolf star explained "when?" Leopard Heart asked Wolf star looked at his brother and mewed "now" leopard heart nodded and wolf star looked at tiger heart and mewed "you will take another patrol and attack at my signal cause my patrol will attack first then You will attack"Wolf star told tiger heart"take who you like" wolf star mewed tiger heart nodded "all of you eat you will need your strength" Wolf star told his clan they all nodded and ate "I will take badger fang,fox tail,mist heart,shadow pelt,Heather paw,smoke paw and tiger paw" tiger heart mewed "I will take the rest" wolf star meowed "but why do we have to battle feather clan they have their moors and we have our forest!" Heather paw complained "well do you wanna get kicked out?" Wolf star heather paw shakes her head saying no "ok is everyone ready?" Wolf star yowled everyone nodded and wolf star gathered his patrol and tiger heart gathered his patrol and wolf paw hid under a bush when they were near feather clan patrol and tiger Hearts patrol hid in the trees wolf star flicked his tail telling his patrol to ATTACK the patrol unsheathed their claws. They ran into the camp claws unsheathed and snarling and growling wolf star lunged for the leader and he bit their leaders neck hard "were's the rest of your apprentices and warriors?" Dapple star teased wolf star flicked his tail and tiger hearts patrol drop down into the camp claws unsheathed and snarling dapple stars jaw dropped and wolf star reared up on his hind legs and he slashed dapple stars face and he then he dropped down and flicked dirt and rocks into her face. Dapple star hissed "AHHH MY EYES" she yowled "you should never tease the mist clan leader!" Wolf star hissed. Wolf star saw Tiger heat battling moon scar and he heard snarling and saw Dawn frost battling a greyish tabby she cat with blue eyes and he realized it was river heart.he saw white fur flash past he realized it was cedar Heart he was running toward dawn frost and river heart "RETREAT MIST CLAN RETREAT!" Wolf star yowled and he and his cats started to retreat back to camp once there back at camp they settled down.
