Wolf star was mewing as clover kit chased his tail "clover kit come back here now!" Silver fur hissed "oh come on silver fur let the kits have some fun" wolf star mewed "I don't think it safe for clover kit up there on the high ledge" silver fur growled. Small claws was listening to silver fur and wolf star and he knew silver fur shouldn't challenge wolf star after all wolf star was the leader. Wolf star saw his brother leopard claw come onto the clearing with a claw mark on his leg "leopard claw what happened?" Wolf star asked "I-it was a loner " leopard claw started "the loner was dark and had black stripes and purple eyes" leopard claw mewed "he said his name was tiger" leopard claw finished through pants wolf stars eyes were filled with horror and then he went back to the memories of when he was wolf claw and remembered the dream star clan had told him "your father is looking for you his name is tiger he killed your mother when you were a kit he is hunting for you keep it a secret from your mate and kits" wolf star remembered "uh leopard claw please come to my den" wolf star told him leopard claw nodded and went into wolf stars den. In the elders den ice fur was talking to ash flower about moon flower "so what was the first prey she caught ?" Ice fur mewed "she was a apprentice at that time and we were fighting night clan when she was a apprentice and while she chased off the night clan leader because night clan was invading our camp and I was a warrior at the time I guess the night clan leader was pretty scared of moon flower so I guess moon flower was pretty scary for the night clan leader as a apprentice " ash flower joked at the corner of the den small claws was sleeping and at the end of the den heather paw was checking storm fur for ticks and at the right corner of the den snow fang was eatting a plump black bird the elders recently changed nests far away from each other ever since the mouse fight storm fur recently caused. Wolf star sighed it was almost leaf fall and the medicine cat was stocking up on herbs and the clan was stocking up on prey for leaf bare. Wolf star sighed as he jumped onto the high ledge then he laid on it and watched the clan he saw tiger heart organizing the daily patrols. At the edge of the clearing lily kit was sitting with silver fur at the edge of the clearing while crow kit,clover kit played and smoke paw and leaf paw were wrestling outside the apprentices den "clover kit,crow kit and lily kit are nearly six moons old tiger heart" wolf star mewed to tiger heart "ya but lily kit will need special training due to her twisted leg how bout mist heart her paw was twisted by a badger" tiger heart replied "ya but that was when she was a apprentice" wolf star reminded tiger heart "I was only saying" tiger heart meowed "I know" wolf star replied. Wolf star went into his den and made himself comfortable in his nest he curled his tail around his paws and put his head his head on his paws and drifted into sleep he had a dream from star clan in his dream he saw moon flower talking with another cat moonflower looked over her shoulder and saw wolf star and she stood up and the other cat followed "wolf star this is blue star she was the leader of thunder clan from one the ancient clans" moon flower told wolf star "hello wolf star" blue star mewed then all of a sudden blue star and moon flower started to fade and he heard his clan mates wailing for wolf star for him to help him and to save them he could hear ash flower "help us wolf star!" Ash flower wailed "save us wolf star!" He recognized the wail of heather paw.

Wolf star woke up with a jolt he saw a mouse infront of his nest wolf star stretched and he gripped the mouse with his claws and started eatting it once he was full he walked of his den "tiger heart can I see you in my den when your done organizing the patrols?" Wolf star mewed "of course wolf star" tiger replied "ok dawn frost you lead the first hunting patrol take who ever you like and mist heart you lead the second patrol take leaf paw,tiger paw,red stripe and shadow pelt" tiger heart told the warriors dawn frosts patrol left along with the border patrol and then mist hearts patrol left wolf star waited for tiger heart in his den "ok what is it wolf star?" Tiger heart asked wolf star as he padded into the den "I have to go the moonstone and I want you to come badger fang can take charge while we are gone" wolf star reported "go get your traveling herbs from finch flower"wolf star told him tiger heart nodded and left the den wolf star followed.
