Wolf star was watching his clan  from the high ledge and saw lily kit come out the medicine cats den and saw lily kits left back leg twisted  along with the scratch on her tail but they were patched up and finch flower led lily kit gently to the nursery were silver fur was waiting for her with her tail curled around clover kit and crow kit was bouncing around and silver fur looked at him "stop bouncing around" she hissed crow kit stopped and flattened his ears and sat down "maybe it would be possible to build my own clan were I will be leader!" Crow kit thought "hey mama would it possible for me to build my own clan?" Crow kit asked "no there have always been four clans in the forest" silver fur mewed "oh" crow kit mewed sadly. Wolf star saw the clan gather around the fresh-kill pile for sharing tongues wolf star saw the elders gather around and share their news and then saw tiger paw,heather paw and leaf paw gathering around to share their news and then saw silver fur and snow claw sit together and share prey wolf star jumped off the high ledge and went to share news with the elders along with tiger heart wolf star heard ashflower "I heard cinder heart is expecting kits soon" ash flower mewed "that's amazing the only kits in the nursery is crow kit,lily kit and clover kit" storm claw mewed "plus kits are always a good omen" ash flower pointed out "but I have never seen silver fur so harsh on her kits" snow fang meowed "its probably because the kits aren't clan born" small claws responded "well yea remember ash claw wolf stars old mate before I remember she died when she was having her kits and wolf star was really mad" moon flower mewed. Wolf star and tiger heart were sharing tounges with the elders. When they were done a feather clan scent came  the scent was fresh the scent was getting close the cats stood ready for a feather clan battle patrol to come and attack their camp but then a feather clan cat came into camp the cats right ear was ripped and her left ear had a claw mark on it and a clump of fur was missing from her right shoulder wolf star recognized spotted heart wolf star went up to spotted heart she was panting "I-its n-night clan and moon clan they are attacking o-our camp t-the warriors are doing their b-best to p-protect t-the n-nursery" spotted heart said through pants the mistclan warriors stared at spotted heart with terror and horror in their eyes wolf star nodded and jumped onto the high ledge and finch flower ran into her den and came out again with herbs dangling from her mouth "warriors of mistclan I need a battle patrol to go with spotted heart to feather clan camp!" Wolf star yowled "tigerheart will lead the patrol with red stripe,badger fang,fox tail,dawn frost,shadow pelt and blue stream and finch flower will join to so she can help the injured and heather paw,tiger paw and leaf paw will go so they can bring messages to the camp" wolf star meowed "spotted heart will lead the patrol to the camp then tiger heart will take it from there b. " wolf star mewed "go now" wolf star hissed spotted heart and tiger heart nodded and left. Tiger heart followed the patrol to the feather clan camp then once they got there spotted heart  ran back into the battle "when I sway my tail that's means attack" tiger heart whispered to his patrol he saw heather paw and tiger paw and leaf paw and finch flower were already going into a bush for cover tiger heart nodded quitly and the patrol hid under and bush crouched ready for action then tiger heart swayed his tail and the patrol leaped into action tiger heart saw dawn frost badly injured and he yowled too red stripe to tell heather paw and leaf paw and tiger paw and finch flower to tell them about dawn frost red stripe and yowled to the moon clan deputy "really sorry this has to happen I gotta flea clanmate is  injured badly" red stripe hissed then red stripe took her claws and swiped at moon scars front legs knocking her over and red stripe ran off then red stripe came running out with heather paw and leaf paw they picked up dawn frost and took her to the bush red stripe came running back and tackled moon scar then tiger heart heard a yowl and saw some moon clan and night clan warriors heading straight for mist clan camp but he already saw leaf paw and tiger paw and heather paw running ahead of the patrols to camp to tell wolf star. Wolf star saw the apprentices "WOLF STAR MOON CLAN AND NIGHT CLAN WARRIORS ON THEIR WAY!" Heather paw yowled "hey I thought you said I could tell wolf star" tiger paw argued "no time to argue you two mouse-brains a battle patrol is on their way!" Leaf paw yowled mist heart and silver fur and flame pelt came from their dens and had their hackles raised ready for the attack the patrol came in and wolf star saw the patrol was being led by yellow star yellow star lunged at wolf star "NO!" A yowl came from the elders den and moon flower ran out infront of wolf star and yellow star landed on her and yellow star  took a massive claw and threw her toward a tree moon flower hit it hard then yellow star lunged at moon flower and pinned her wolf star watched in horror as his mate was being attacked moon flower had saved his life after all now it was time for him to save life wolf star unsheathed his claws and ran and lunged at yellow star, yellow star yowled in suprise then yellow star kicked wolf star off and yellow star raked moon flowers shoulders moon flower went limp and her eyes were closed yellow star told her patrol to leave and the patrols left and the mist clan battle patrol came back and wolf star was looking at his mate finch flower was running  around checking wounds and wolf star grabbed moon flowers scruff and took her to the clearing and put her down then wolf star jumped onto the high ledge "let all cats old enough to run in the mist please gather under high ledge for a clan meeting" wolf star yowled sadly the cats came and sat infront of moons flowers body "today we have a lost a elder in battle she died saving my life moon flower now walks with star clan" wolf star mewed the clan gathered around moon flowers body and starting grooming her "we will do the burial tomorrow. Tonight finch flower,dawn frost and fox tail and me shall sit vigil with moon flower tonight" wolf star mewed the clan nodded "I should've been their to save her!" Ash flower wailed "it's my fault she's dead" small claws confessed "I should've stopped her from leaving" small claws mewed  sadly the cats left for the night and the night patrol left but dawn frost,wolf star,finch flower and fox tail stayed with moon flower.

The next morning the cats were gathering for moon flowers burial the elders picked up moonflowers body and took it to the burial spot "I will never forget you" dawn frost wailed the cats went back to camp and the cats went to back to their duties.
