Lupa pov

I was in my wolf form heading through the dark back streets of New York hunting Lycoan when I felt a strong Aura near by.I went to investigate. I peered around the apartment building when I saw a bloody and bruised little boy bout eight years old fly out of one of the apartment doors into a row of trash cans.

 A man similar looking to a walking walrus come out with a face as red as a tomato. He picked up a handful of small rocks laying by his feet he started to pelt the child savagely causing the boy to cry out in pain.The door flew open again a woman with a dark hair and rebellious brown eyes shot out and tackled the walrus man yelling "Gabe please no he didn't mean it".As he got up the man grabbed the woman by the throat and growled "shut it Sally" I started sprinting towards Gabe, but before I could get there to help he shoved her to the concrete. Her head hit the curb with a wet thud.I managed to get there as he turned back to the boy I leapt and grabbed his throat between my jaws and bit down with a sickening crunch and a burst of warm blood. it was disgusting.

Once he was dead I went to the woman there was a pool of blood around her head almost like a halo holding on to her body was the boy silent tears streaming down his face mixing with his mother's blood he slowly looked up in surprise and in a voice like a Sea breeze soft and gentle he whispered "i-is s-sh-she d-dead?"I lowered my head slowly "yes"i replied as gentle as possible he went silent once more I sat there studying him he was well built but skinny tan and hair so black it blended with the shadows. I couldn't see his eyes as they were covered by his hair I sniffed hard smelling he was a powerful demigod so I transformed in to my human form reached into my bag and pulled out some ambrosia.I took a small piece and gave it to him he whispered still looking down "whats this?" I spoke back softly "it's ambrosia it'll help you"he took a nibble and gasped in delight he shoved the rest in his mouth. he started to reach for more but I pulled it away from him and said"no only small pieces"he looked puzzled "why it tastes Sooooooooooooo good?"I sighed"it's ambrosia it's for gods or people like you." "people like me?" He asked confused. I sighed again "yes people like you, your a demigod ......? what's your name?""I'm Percy Jackson" He said as his sea green eyes met my hazel brown.
