Mark's POV

Amy, Ethan, Tyler, Kathryn and I were all hanging out together. We were celebrating Ethan's birthday by having a small Teamiplier surprise party for him. All day we had acted like we didn't know it was his birthday. Right now, Amy and Kathryn were keeping him distracted while Tyler and I were in the kitchen preparing a birthday cake. It was half chocolate, half vanilla with electric blue icing. I lit the candles and gave Kathryn the signal that we were ready as Tyler carefully lifted the cake off of the counter. Kathryn nodded her head and walked over to the dimmer switch. She said "It's really bright in here. Why don't we turn down the lights a bit." The room went completely dark. Ethan laughed "Well now I can't see at all." I nodded to Tyler. He smiled and began to walk out of the kitchen holding the cake as we all sung Happy Birthday.

The candles gave off a little bit of light to the whole room so we saw Ethan's whole face literally light up at the sight. His cheeks dusted with a light pink and he had a huge grin on his face. When we were done singing he exclaimed "You guys! You didn't have to do all this for my birthday!" I replied "No, we didn't have to but we did it anyway." Tyler continued "We wanted to do this for you Blueberry." "Now blow out your candles.", Kathryn laughed. Ethan took a deep breath and blew out all of the candles. Amy turned the lights back on as we all cheered. From there, we had Ethan open his presents and play silly party games with us. The party only got better and better as it continued. Unfortunately, the celebration was cut short for me. A dull pain started to grow in my chest. I muttered "Fuck! What time is it?!" Quickly, I took my phone out to see that it was 9:55 pm.

Everybody had noticed my panicked state. Ethan asked "You alright, Mark?" I smiled and answered "I'm fine I just got to go." They all immediately understood what I meant. Amy chuckled "Now? In the middle of all the fun?! This always happens in at the worst moments." Tyler laughed "Cmon Amy, he's going to be back later. We all know how this works." The dull pain started to spread to slowly spread to the rest of my body. Ethan laughed "Maybe not in the way you're thinking of if Mark mixes it up." I laughed a little before immediately grunting and slightly huddling over as pain stabbed my chest. Tyler yelled "Oh shit!" Everybody gave me worried looks. Smiling slightly, I muttered "Be right back." Quickly, I left the room and made my way upstairs. I managed to get to my recording room before my legs gave into the pain. I fell onto all fours on the ground, screaming in agony as my transformation started once again.
