"SO HE'S ALWAYS HAD THIS PLACE AND HE CHOSE TO LIVE AT THE DEN." jack sighed, looking around hamish's apartment that now had the demon symbol drawn on the floor.

"well, it's only got the one balcony." randall sighed. cassidy bit her thumb nail. "this is a bad idea. i mean all our ideas are bad ideas but this is a really bad idea."

jack looked towards the blonde. "it'll be fine. we'll get what we want and the order will never know what hit them."

hamish quickly walked in. "sorry i'm late." lilith looked at him confused. "what happened to you?" hamish looked back at her. "nothing. what happened to you?"

everyone gave him strange looks and hamish made a rushing movement with his arms. "are we ready to go? let's go."

cassidy, standing by lilith, whispered to her friend. "he totally got with teacher." hamish glared at cassidy. "i heard that and shut up i did not." cassidy just winked back at the boy. "the heart wants what it wants."

hamish rolled his eyes and jack sighed. "okay, finally. are we ready?" lilith nodded. "good to go."

"i still think this is a bad idea." randall vocalized as he stood in the middle of the circle. cassidy nodded in agreement as hamish stuck his hand out. "your objection will be noted in the minutes."

"we're supposed to keep minutes?"

randall stood by cassidy as the two stood off to the side. they hadn't been involved in the first summoning so it wouldn't work if they were apart of it now.

cassidy and randall stood by as the other three did their summoning. zecchia appeared. "finally, are you ready?"

"we are. are you?" jack responded.

"i was born ready. although, technically, i wasn't born. i spawned from the husk of a cosmic being, one of thousands." zecchia explained.

"zecchia. you shall take all goods and chattel from the vault of the hermetic order of the blue rose and remand these goods into the possession of the knights of saint christopher in this place we have anointed." lilith commanded and zecchia disappeared.

everyone looked around for a second but saw nothing. "okay, so, how does she..." lilith began to question before zecchia reappeared with all of the stuff.

"this what you wanted?" zecchia questioned. "uh, i think so, yeah." jack laughed.

"contract fulfilled."

zecchia disappeared again but this time cassidy knew she wasn't coming back. randall shook his head. "it can't be this easy."

jack got close to his friend. "it's that easy."

cassidy and lilith quickly began looking at everyone on the opposite side of the boys. lilith smirked to her friend. "worth it, right?"

cassidy picked something up before putting it back down. "i guess we will see."

"we're free!" laughed hamish. lilith smiled and stepped forwards a bit. "we're free, motherfuckers!" jack shook his head. "free? we're in charge!"

cassidy went back to looking through everything. she picked up a small blanket with her initials on it and a small laugh escaped her lips as she remembered what this did. cassidy quickly looked around for the other half and when she found it, she put one half on the floor and a cup under the other half.

randall watched with a smile as cassidy intriguingly moved her hand over the half with the cup and muttered a small incantation before lifting the blanket, seeing the cup was gone.

she smiled before going over to the other blanket that was on the floor. it was completely down and randall had assumed she had messed something up. but that was before cassidy slowly began to lift the blanket and as it raised, a cup shaped object raised with it.

cassidy took the blanket off the cup fully to show it completely there. she smiled to herself before sticking both half's into her jacket pockets.

a bit later, cassidy watched with a laugh as randall tried to pull a sword out of a stone but failed. lilith tried next and it came right out before she put it back in. the three boys pretended they weren't watching when it happened, but cassidy ran over to her friend in excitement.

lilith left the sword and randall came up behind cassidy and picked her up. "okay cass, your turn. but now you've got my muscles on your side." cassidy laughed, her head falling back on randall's shoulder before he angled her so she could grab it.

cassidy grabbed the sword and began to pull, randall pulling along with her but it wouldn't move. he set her back down and walked off sad but cassidy looked at the sword another time. she grabbed it on her own and pulled.

it didn't come out, but she felt the smallest budge as if it was ready to anytime. cassidys eyes widened towards lilith, who gave her the same look back.

"OH, DEMONS ARE SO SCARY." jack sighed as he sat on the couch. randall laughed, taking his seat next to jack. "okay, some demons are scary." cassidy snuck up behind randall and yelled "boo!" causing the boy to jump.

she laughed to herself as randall un-humorously laughed back. "oh ha-ha very funny." cassidy continued her fit of laughter as she nodded. "i know."

hamish took his seat on jacks other side. "we just confiscated the orders entire magic arsenal. i think the knights of saint christopher are back in business."

cassidy sat next to randall, but before he could do anything, lilith took her own seat on cassidys lap. "so how do you want to tell the order that they take magic orders from us now?"

jack smiled, looking towards hamish. "with big shit-eating grins on our faces." hamish laughed. "i second that. all in favor?" he raised his hand up, jack and lilith following behind both voicing "aye".

cassidy kept her mouth shut, still not fully sure of the plan and quickly noticed randall had stayed silent as well. lilith, hamish, and jack looked towards the two, staring at them to get them to agree. randall chuckled. "okay, okay."

lilith looked fully at cassidy. "come on now, everyone's doing it." cassidy chuckled. "you sound like the mean kid in high school trying to pressure the loser to do something just to turn around and mock them once they have."

lilith scrunched up her face for a moment. "huh. i mean you did just paint a very vivid picture for me. but come on, everything will be fine." cassidy shook her head. "oh no, i'm not caving. because if something does happen, i will have the sweet sweet satisfaction of saying i told you so."

"and when nothing happens i'll have that satisfaction all to myself." lilith replied, turning back around. cassidy rolled her eyes jokingly, "haha."

lilith went to reply, but was stopped by her phone dinging. well, everyone's phones dinging. with lilith still on cassidy's lap, cassidy opted to look over onto liliths phone to see what it said.

"here it is." jack smirked, looking at the text from vera telling him to get to the temple. the same one that everyone else had gotten. "vera is probably pissed."

everyone stood up fast, ready to head to the very place they had just stolen from.

once there, cassidy's stomach dropped. she looked around as all these people who just looked so defeated. for a moment, it took her back to when she had first joined the order. she had been so excited, it was always a dream for someone who's parents or family had been in the order to get in and she had been successful. all she wanted to do was know everything.

but now, cassidy just wanted to be as far away from the temple as she could get.

cassidy walked next to randall, ignoring the urge to grab his hand. she couldn't do it when they weren't even supposed to remember each other. but she did lean in a bit, whispering to him. "this is freaking me out."

randall nodded, moving in towards cassidy as well to speak with her. "same. the vibe is super weird."

"let me dispel the rumors. we are all going to die." vera suddenly spoke, emerging from her private office. "in less than 46 hours, a demon will break through the veil between our realm and the demon realm. now, it is long been the orders sworn duty to stand between humanity and this demon and escort him back through the gates of hell. but unfortunately... the weapons forged for this sole purpose have vanished."

people began gasping as hamish turned towards jack, randall, and cassidy. "she's hiding the fact that the vaults been cleared out. that's smart." cassidy crossed her arms over her chest. "yeah hide that attraction it's not like we see it or anything." randall nodded in agreement. "yeah, dude, are you hot for teacher?"

hamish looked between the two, a bit speechless. "i admire good leadership." cassidy huffed out a breath. "yeah, that's what it is." hamish sent her a look. "shut up."

alyssa pulled jack away quickly, cassidy watched with intent as she tried to read alyssa's lips, quickly finding herself unable to and decided to instead go back to listening to vera.

but that didn't last long as jack quickly hurried back to the group and ushered them a bit away from everyone else. "okay, here's the deal. we need to give the order back their sickles. now."

i really just stopped writing for a while didn't i. damn. anyways hope you enjoy this chapter and hopefully i'll actually write more (i will i'm making myself now)
