Guys I'm considering changing the name if the book to something like secret wolf, what do you think?

Anyway onto the chapter:

It has been two weeks since I first transformed, and when I was grounded. I figured if I can shave a few days off of my grounding period, I will be able to make the full moon (as the moon takes 29 1/2 days to go around the earth).

I don't want to have to sneak out, that would probably end me up with another month or so grounding. Which would result in me having to sneak out again.

My phone vibrates and I look at the caller ID, Charlotte. I sigh, I still haven't told her about the wolf thing because I just haven't found a way to say it. She's probably going to demand, again, that I tell her.

I mean I will of course, eventually.
I answer the phone.

Charlotte: hey Nat.

Nat: hey.

Charlotte: so are you ever going to tell me about that thing you where talking about?

Nat: listen Charlotte, I will tell you, just not on the phone.And sorry I haven't done it at school, I just haven't found the right way to tell it. Or the right place and time.

Charlotte: oh ok.

She sounds disappointed

Nat: well see you Monday then!

I try to sound cheery

Charlotte: ok, bye.

I hang up.

"Nat! Can you come down here please!" My mum calls up the stairs.

"Ok! Coming!" I shout back.

I run down stairs to find my mum sitting on the couch, my dad working so he's not here.

"Yeah?" I ask, a little out of breath.

"I'm going shopping for a little while and I'm trusting you to stay here. Ok?" she asks.

"Ok." I smile at her un noticed reference to The Fault In Our Stars.

She gets up, grabs her bag, and leaves. Now I can talk to Charlotte.

I run back upstairs and call her, asking her to come over quick. Luckily she lives pretty near, despite all the forest.

About 5 minutes later I hear a knock on the door. I run down to answer it. Charlotte is out of breath, her long, light blonde hair is in a neat pony tail.

"Hey, I'm here!" she says.

"Here" I say as I open the door wider, "come in and have a drink."

She walks in and goes straight to the kitchen to get a drink, she walks back out with a glass in hand and we both go sit on the couch.

"So," she says "are you going to tell me what you have been keeping from me?"
