Ok. Hear me out.

I think that in the waaaaay waaaaaay past. Like maybe before or just after the Scorching. Way before Clearsight went to Pantala.

I think that Pyrrhians and Pantalans may have been friends. Maybe even lived on a single continent.

Imagine. The Pantalans used to speak Dragon. You can find this in the prologue of The Lost Continent.

But, you say, why do they live apart now?

(Also, please note that Clearsight created the HiveWings so I am talking about only the SilkWings and LeafWings.)

I have an answer.

So. Let's say that the SilkWings and LeafWings got sick of all the other tribes so they left Pyrrhia, and found an empty continent (Pantala) that they settled.

Or the present-day Pyrrhian tribes left Pantala and found an empty continent (Pyrrhia) that they settled.

OR the SilkWings/LeafWings (or both) are just hybrids that they made a whole tribe of!

(Please note that I haven't read the Poison Jungle yet. It comes out tommorrow.)

But why does each contenent have no knowledge of each other?

Well, that is not true. In both Pyrrhia and Pantala there are legends of another contenent. (Pyrrhis calls Pantala The Lost Continent. Pantala calls Pyrhhia The Distant Kingdoms)

I honestly think that it is more likely that the Pantalans left Pyrrhia. The Pantalans were more likely to not tell their dragonets about this if they left, and the Distant Kingdoms legend only seemed to have aprung up after Clearsight came.

And the reason Clearsight went was because she knew about the legend of the Lost Continent. The Pyrrhians probably told their dragonets., although details were bound to be lost after some time.

And think about the similarities in the names of the continents. Pyrrhia sounds a lot like Pantala, doesn't it?

And the Pantalans used to speak Dragon, but I beleive, as an attempt to cut off from the Pyrhhians completely, they created a new language. And then Clearsight came and taught them Dragon again.

And I beleive that some dragons were rebellious and kind of hoped for a Pyrrhian to come, so they taught their dragonets a little bit of Dragon in the hopes that they coyld communicate if nessessary.

And, why ais it the SilkWings? The LeafWings? I mean, Clearsight could habe named them, but I doubt it. They must have came from the same continent.
