First I'll be doing an AU deal where I just give the tribes a nation to be considered. I won't be doing any details on any battles, and if I did a WoF with guns, it probably won't be WWII and closer to the War on Terrorism.

IceWings=Russians AND Japanese
Makes sense to me. Russia cold, IceWings cold, plus with old Russian society it kinda fits with IceWing society, if you stretch the truth a bit that is. Close enough.

For the Japan part, their cultures are just alike with the whole "death before dishonor" belief. Also, I can easily imagine the IceWings commuting similar atrocities like the Rape of Nanking. If you don't know what that is, look it up. Although be warned it is very gross and very sad, but it needs to be common knowledge just like the holocaust.

MudWings=Bulgarians
Ok, this may be a bit biased bc I hate MudWings. But Bulgaria was on the losing side of WWI, so they joined the currently more powerful side in WWII, a little bit like what the MudWings did when they switched form Blister to Burn.

NightWings=Germans
I can see NightWings speaking German tbh. Also, the Nazi party believes that they were superior to everyone else and saw the Jews as rats. Just like how the NightWings thought of themselves as superior and the RainWings like rats. Another similarity is that the NightWings are smart and manipulative and WERE advanced. Just like Nazi Germany.

RainWings=Swedish AND French
Swedish part because they would definitely give sanctuary to dragons being hunted by a war and realistically they would've stayed neutral just like Sweden.

French because if they were taken over, Kinkajou would start a resistance obviously.

SandWings=Italian
Those decisive motherfuckers. Italy helped push WWII with Mussolini being fascist and all that. But it's also not hard to believe the SandWings would kill an evil queen (or the onyx eye would) and then the SandWings would switch sides, just like Italy.

SeaWings=American
America had and has the strongest navy in world, so that kinda forced them to be SeaWing. SeaWings are strong fighters and there's a lot of them, just like America.

SkyWings=British
Great Britain was trying to stay neutral -for some reason- until Germany went through Belgium, then they joined the war. It seemed fitting that the SkyWings would roll their eyes to a war until it affected them or their territory. Plus British intelligence won the war and I think the SkyWing's are the smartest tribe so... yeah.

I was also going to do this for the DoD too, but then I realized I have no clue who to associate with which country so I'll move on and base the royals off of a vibe they give off.

Anyways! Same order as before, same concept as before. The only difference is I am NOT basing the nation off of how they act, more of how they look.

Queen Glory.

Nation: Italy (If Glory wasn't American, I always imagine her as Italian or Brazilian)

Weapon of choice: Beretta Model 1918

Although it was used a lot in WWI, it also saw plenty of action in WWII. This gun could fire a 9mm Gilsenti at 900 RPM, making it a devastating gun in the right hands. Sadly it could only hold 25+1 so you went through a magazine exceptionally fast.

King Deathbringer.

Weapon of choice: Degtyaryov's Light Machine Gun. A.k.a. DP-27 (originally going to be the RPD but since it was barely used in WWII, I went with the DP-27)

With a 47+1 round magazine, it was the most widely used LMG in the Red Army. It fired the large 7.62x54mmR at 550 RPM. A slower fire rate, but it'll drop you with less bullets anyways.

Weapon of choice: (I actually went for two this time) First one is the M1941 Johnson.

This battle rifle shot a large .30-06 round from a strange but cool internal rotary magazine that was loaded from the side with two clips (10 rounds) of .30-06.

Second weapon would probably be the Ithaca 37.

This is a pump-action that fires a 12 gauge. It has a loading/ejecting mechanisms on the bottom of the gun which made it very immune to the elements, so good for the desert.

Army: Fourteenth Army

Weapon of choice: Sterling Machine Carbine Mk. 1 or just Sterling

This is actually the Mk. 4 that didn't come into play until 1953 but all the photos of the Mk. 1 were trash. The Sterling shoots a common 9x19 Parabellum from a 32 round mag at 550 RPM. Accurate as hell for an SMG.

Army: Red Army
Faction: Allies
Weapon of choice: Mosin-Nagant M1938 carbine or Mosin's Rifle as it was called in the Red Army and the 3-Line Rifle by other armies.

This sniper fired a large 7.62x54 Soviet from an internal magazine. It commonly had a PU scope on it and was a common sniper and battle rifle for the Red Army.

Queen Moorhen

Nation: Germany
Army: Wehrmacht
Faction: Axis
Weapon of choice: MG-42, or Hitler's Buzzsaw as it was named by the Allies.

Although usually the MG-42 had 9 yards of bullets on the belt. It had an average rate of fire at an incredible 1,200 rounds per minute. It was gas operated and had quick-change barrel. This means the entire barrel could be removed once the gun became too hot, allowing for German machine gunners to continuously lay down fire without the worry of the gun breaking down or exploding the barrel.

Nation: British
Army: 10th Armored Division
Faction: Allies
Weapon of choice: Sten gun. A gun so widely used that many resistance groups ended up calling every SMG a Sten gun.

The Sten fired a 9x19 at 550 RPM, rather slow but not ineffective by any means. It had a 32 round magazine (although if it held over 30 bullets at a time it would almost always jam) and it had a completely steel frame.
