Appearance: he is a light sandy tan colour with different shades of brown mixed in. he has off white horns, a darker tan ridge along his back, on his legs and over his face, darker clay brown frills  with a sandy pink edge with speckles of pink as well, his undersides are more of a light creamy colour and his eyes are the same earthy pink colour. He has a tall slightly pudgy body, his upper scales are more like a sandwing while his lower scales are smoother like a RainWing, he has a large frill that is wavy in shape, along his back and tail that swoop over his head and large frills on each side of his face. He has a long tail that curls like his RainWing side with a poisonous dark brown barb at the end, legs like a sandwing and a large chest that curves in like a RainWing. His wings are large, and the memrsnce is the same as his frills in colour and design. He wears a singular silver hoop earring on one ear and a gold band on the horn above it

Abilities:Okapi can camouflage into any surroundings like a RainWing and change his scale colours in general, however this is difficult so he usually only changes into colours found in the dessert. He can shoot venom, his barbed tail is poisonous but he cannot breathe fire. Due to the events as an egg that left his wings mostly useless, okapi is unable to fly and instead glides and swings through trees like a RainWing

Personality: Okapi is a level headed dragon who has trouble trusting others besides his adoptive sister, he also gets anxious very easily but is also caring, charismatic and friendly. Once as he gets close to someone, he will go to the ends to protect them. Okapi loves, exploring, music, arts and studying things like different plants,  insects and rocks.

Background: okapi was the son to a sandwing mother and RainWing father, at the time he was an egg and currently in my Au there are these groups of assassins that have been killing off any dragon not part of these groups as they are deemed unworthy, and they killed his mother who's name is unknown. Trying to flee to safety with his egg, his father Jaguar tired to fly towards the mountains but was unfortunately shot with a spear in the air killing him and causing him to drop okapi's egg. A 3 legged dark red Skywing named murre with an egg of her own found him and took him in raising him as her own with her daughter oriole. Oriole and okapi are very close to one another, always exploring things, teaching different stuff to one another and are rarely found separated. Due to being dropped as an egg, while he can spread his wings he is unable to flap him which prevents him from flying, so having met RainWings, his adoptive mother taught him how to swing and glide through trees. Okapi is currently a science teacher at the Jade mountain academy and focuses mainly on entomology as well as the biology of dragons while also being in charge of field trips. Besides his sister oriole, he is best friends with a sewing named rift
