Kinkajou

Some may say I'm just being a good little sister and letting Glory take the throne.

Some may say I'm just weak and doesn't like attention.

Excuse you.

It's actually number one and that I don't want to be the queen.

Duh.

I got a lot of that when we were all going down to the auditorium.

There was a WHOLE LINE there,

I swear to the THREE MOONS I might actually stab someone.

Blah.

 Me and the boys weren't auditioning, so we hurried off to the seats and waited.

And waited.

AND WAITED.

ARGHHHHH

"I can tell you're a little impatient," Deathbringer said from beside me. "Since you are mercilessly slapping me in the face."

I TRIED to sit still but I COULDN'T.

"Hello and welcome to the princess auditioning," said a bored someone who was in their dragon form, a NightWing. "I'm Skyhaze, your host for today."

Then he droned on and on and on and on and on and on AND ON about the rules and such. Then he said, "MudWing contestants,"

Four girls stepped onto the stage.

"Alligator Murkwater, first up," Skyhaze said.

"I'm Alligator Murkwater," the shortest girl said. Her voice was WAY too loud in the microphone. "I am the youngest daughter of Queen Moorhen of the MudWings. I am a good-"

I didn't hear the rest since I kind of fell asleep.

I didn't wake up until Skyhaze was saying, "SandWing contestants,

"What did the MudWings offer?" I hissed at Deathy.

"Alligator said she would make it her personal goal to let the MudWings have better dormitories since that's all the MudWings complain about," Deathy said. "Egret Birdwing said that she would make the lunch choices better, Nutria said that she would make the bathrooms better, and Coypu offered better classes."

"The smart MudWings would choose Coypu," I mused. "hungry MudWings would choose Egret, lazy MudWings would like Alligator, and very clean MudWings would choose Nutria. I think If I were a MudWing, I would choose Coypu,"

"SandWing contestants," Skyhaze muttered again.

"Is Sunny one of them?" I asked.

"I'm pretty sure," Deathy said. "Along with Onyx."

Three girls entered the stage.

"Cactus Sandcloud,"

"I'm Cactus Sandcloud," said the first. She looked sturdy and bold. Like a real queen. She was a threat to Sunny. "If I am chosen as queen, I will take it as my personal challenge to-"

I only heard the main points because Cactus liked to talk and talk. I only heard that she would give the SandWings longer breaks, more study classes, and more time to hang out together and better lunch choices.

"Sunny has some competition," Deathy said.

"Sunny Mirage," Skyhaze said.

"Hello, I'm Sunny Mirage," Sunny said brightly. "If I become the queen of the SandWings, I will do my best to solve every single problem my fellow SandWings has to come up with. For instance, I know that some of you want more sun spots in the school. I will do my best to call my mother, Queen Thorn, and together we can build more sunrooms and greenhouses for all of you. There are most certainly more problems than this, but because I have some other dear SandWing waiting on me, I will only list this one."

She bowed and scampered off.

"She unintentionally wove the real Queen of the SandWings into this," Starflight mused. "Smart,"

"Onyx Blackstone," Skyhaze said.

Onyx, the one of the tallest children in the school, (okay, teenagers) stepped up to the mic. "I'm Onyx Blackstone," she said coldly, like she always did. "If I am queen, I will make sure that I will be the best queen by setting up fighting areas where we can train and fight in our dragon forms."

A pause.

Onyx stomped off the stage.

"I guess that was her entire speech," Starflight said.

"SkyWing contestants," Skyhaze said.

Only two SkyWings marched onto the stage. One of them was Peril, who was fidgeting awkwardly as she tried to find Clay in the crowd.

"Ember Fireblaze," Skyhaze said.

"I am Ember Fireblaze," Ember said, then started talking about basically what Onyx said, but she made it more nicer sounding.

"Peril Ashflame," Skyhaze said.

"H-Hello," Peril said. "I am Peril Ashflame, and if you vote me as your SkyWing queen-" she spotted Clay and then she became more energetic. "I will most defiantly with no doubt listen to all of your questions or concerns. I will also set up a flying course because I know how much my fellow SkyWings love to fly. I've been there."

Some may say these speeches are short.

According to me, Kinkajou, these speeches were longer than a lifetime. Not like I wasn't listening.

"SeaWing contestants,"

Like the SkyWings, only two girls ran up to the stage. Tsunami and Anemone.

"Anemone Seaspray," Skyhaze said.

Anemone bumbled up to the stage. I noticed she was wearing every single one of the pearls. "Hello, I'm Anemone Seaspray, second daughter of Queen Coral," she said. "If you make me your queen, I will make the swimming pools much better and more like the ocean, since we are SeaWings. I know how much you all like to swim. And I will be adding more fish to the school lunch menu. Thank you."

She cast a glare at Tsunami as she walked away.

"Tsunami Seaspray," Skyhaze said.

"Hello, I am Tsunami Seaspray, the first born of the queen of the SeaWings," Tsunami said. "If you all vote for me, I will both make the swimming pools cleaner, and make an outdoor pool that every single SeaWing can customize as their own. I will also be adding more seafood to the lunches, not just fish. And there will be stores where you can buy whatever you need directly from the kingdom of the Sea without spending actual money. I will elaborate on this later."

she bowed and stepped off the stage,

"IceWings," Skyhaze said.

Nobody appeared.

"IceWings," Skyhaze tried again.

Then he seemed to realize that most of them were sick. "We will come back to this later on." he said. "RainWing contestants,"

Three girls stepped onto the stage. Liana, Flamingo, and my sister Glory.

"Glory Rainfall," Skyhaze said.

"Hello to all my RainWings," Glory said. "I am Glory Rainfall. I am the best possible contestant for the throne of the RainWings because one, I will make sure there is a more variety of fruits on the lunch menu and-"

"How's that going to be possible?" Flamingo demanded.

Glory looked mildly offended, and her face said, Did you just interrupt me? But she replied calmly, "I am the real Queen of the RainWings. I still have my company in my hands."

Flamingo and Liana looked like they had no chance against the actual queen of the RainWings.

"I forfit," Flamingo said to Skyhaze. "I forfit,"

She walked away before Skyhaze could protest.

"As I was saying," Glory continued. "The fruits and more suntime, or more space for the sun in our dormitories.  I will also be bringing lots of flowers and anything else you require from the Rainforest."

Liana who looked miffed and yet knew she stood no chance, walked away too.

"That's going to be an easy win," I said, hopping up and down in my seat.

"Last but not least," Skyhaze said. "NightWing contestants,"

Four NightWings walked in.

Moon, and three others I didn't know.

"Eve Constellation," Skyhaze said.

 This girl was so like Skyhaze, that Kinkajou almost thought they were related.

"I am Eve Constellation," Eve said. "I will-"

This NightWing was boring as boring could be. Kinkajou only tuned into Moon's speech, and the real enemy could be Nightblade Cometrider.

"I am Moonwatcher Starshower," Moon said confidently. "Second born princess to the queen of the NightWings. If you choose me to be the queen, I will see to your problems immediately. I know how much you all love to read and do art, and I know that most of you are nocturnal. Unfortunately, because of our school protocols, we are unable to access the library or the art room during the night. I will see to it that we will be able to access these rooms. thank you."

She walked off the stage.

"And that, my friends," Skyhaze said. "Concludes our speeches for the next queens. Voting will begin tomorrow afternoon."
