one month had passed since these first encounters.

one whole month.

by now, chenle and jisung had stopped getting overjoyed at anything and everything they saw.

by now, jeno had accepted the fact that he was in a wizard school.

by now, renjun had told lucas everything about his broken life.

and by now, jaemin and donghyuck had become the best of friends.

everything was going well for our boys.

they were happy of their stay in hogwarts.

"donghyuck, move your lazy ass, we're going to be late!" jaemin screamed across the slytherin common room, making all eyes divert towards him.

jaemin loved attention.

as the 8th generation of slytherin purebloods, he was proud of his origins, and he was sure that no one else was as much as a slytherin as he was, which was basically true.

that's why he was respected by the whole house.

the descendant of the very important na family.

"i lost my gloves!" the brunette yelled from the other side of the common room.

"you didn't stupid, you left them at training last time!"

"oh my god you're right!"

the two boys were unnecessarily loud, but the others didn't seem to mind.

jaemin and donghyuck had created themselves a reputation during this month at hogwarts.

and people respected it.

slytherins at least.

"let's go, he's going to kill us!" donghyuck said, running past jaemin at lightning speed.

jaemin followed his best friend into the messy corridors of the wizard school, dodging students as they ran for their life.

jaemin collided into a girl that hadn't seen him arriving, making them both fall on the floor.

the girl let out a hiss as jaemin was quick to stand up again.

"can't you be careful of your surroundings?" he asked irritated.

"jaemin, come on." donghyuck said a few meters away from him.

"damn muggles..." he spat before running behind donghyuck, ignoring the muggle girl that was fuming red at jaemin's sudden outburst.

"try being nice..." donghyuck said.

"i am nice. but muggles have nothing to do in this place, and they should know it." jaemin replied harshly.

yeah, jaemin held a grudge against muggles.

being from a pure blood family taught him that the best family was the pure blood family.

he, just like the rest of his family, believed that muggles should stay between muggles and wizards should stay between wizards.

there's no point in mixing both worlds.

and hogwarts could be an amazing place if all those muggles polluting the corridors were actually in muggle-schools.

one problem, donghyuck was a muggle.

but the brunette was smart.

he had understood pretty quick that jaemin was proud of his blood, and that he hated muggles.

this is why he had kept his genre under silence.

jaemin believed he was from some magical family since donghyuck knew a lot about the wizard world.

and donghyuck couldn't imagine how jaemin would feel if he ever learned that his best friend was a muggle since the beginning...

"donghuck. jaemin." a tall boy greeted them. "you're late."

the two panting first-years nodded.

"we're sorry, donghyuck forgot where he had put his gloves." jaemin breathed out.

"whatever. get ready."

jaemin and donghyuck ran inside the quidditch stadium, heading to the changing rooms first.

they had been taken in the quidditch team.

even donghyuck who had never rode a broom had managed to pass the tests.

jaemin was slyterin's seeker.

being from a magical family, he had flown on brooms since the age of four, making him very agile and fast, required abilities to become a seeker.

donghyuck had been chosen as a goalie.

he wasn't that agile compared to his best friend, and he wasn't the kind of guy who liked to run after a ball.

but since jaemin wanted him to join the team with him, he had signed in for the post of goalie, and he had been accepted.

"everybody on the field in 2 minutes. and i won't accept late commers."

"the stadium is not available."

"is this a joke?"

"slytherins are training."

renjun rolled his eyes, letting his broom fall to the floor as he placed his googles on his forehead.

he had been chosen as ravenclaw's chaser.

he was small and light, making it easy for him to fly fast on a broom.

lucas was already on the team, as a beater.

the two boys had gotten closer thanks to them being on the quidditch team, and also because they had compatible personalities.

lucas was all goofy and loud while renjun was a serious and silent type of guy.

"and how are we supposed to train?!" renjun yelled. "we have a match next week!"

"yeah, but slytherins were there before."

"you want to know what i think, lucas?"

"tell me."

"slytherins sucks." renjun spat before turning around and walking back to the castle.

lucas crouched down to pick renjun's broom and he ran to the small boy.

renjun was very respecting of hogwarts and the other houses.

it wasn't usual for him to insult one.

"why are you in such a bad mood?" he asked. "it's not usual for you to badmouth a house."

renjun rolled his eyes again, taking his broom from lucas' hands. "i couldn't do the spell in defence against the dark arts. and it was an easy one!"

lucas laughed at his roommate's angry face.

"come on, it's okay. it happens sometimes..."

"i am a pure blood. spells should be easy for me." renjun replied.

"it has nothing to do with that." lucas replied. "but let's go back to the common room, i'll teach you again."

"is it like that?" chenle asked, turning towards jisung.

"huh... no. still not." jisung sighed. "are you sure you passed the tie into the loop?"

"yeah." chenle replied looking back at the mirror to see if his neck tie was well attached.

there was one thing that chenle liked in hogwarts, it was that you could choose what you wore.

the dress code was black. you could have anything on as long as it was black.

and to make sure people knew which house you were from, you needed to have a distinctive mark of your house.

it could be a shirt, shoes, or simply a tie or a scarf.

chenle loved style and clothes, and he was really happy to know he could bring all his skinny ripped jeans and his beautiful shirts – to jisung's biggest pleasure.

the problem was that chenle liked to wear a tie, but he was unable to make a neck tie.

that is why jisung was teaching him at the moment.

"look." jisung said, standing next to chenle in front of the mirror. "to place it around your neck. you use the big end to turn around the small one, and after you pass it into the loop. and... done." he explained, doing it with his own tie at the same time.

chenle nodded, his tongue poking out from his lips as he tried his best.

"so... around my neck... then... the big around the small... then in the loop... and... ta-da!"

chenle pulled onto the end of the tie, his smile turning into a frown when the tie fell on the floor because he hadn't tied it correctly.

"ji... i'm so bad..." chenle pouted.

"no, you just need some more training..." jisung placed a hand on his best friend's shoulder.

"i'm sorry, you'll have to continue tying my tie for me in the morning." chenle said.

and jisung nodded, feeling proud for showing chenle the wrong way to tie his necktie if that meant he would be the one to do it for him in the future.
