"lucas, tell me why you are dragging me to the great hall again?" renjun asked, following the giant who was holding his wrist while pulling him across the many staircases and corridors.

"i told you we're going to the hufflepuff common room." lucas replied, not slowing his pace.

"yeah, whatever." renjun rolled his eyes. "and my question was why?"

"because i want to see jungwoo."

renjun sighed.

"you saw him yesterday!" he protested.

"and?" lucas stopped in his tracks, turning around and causing renjun to bump into him. "i feel the urge to see him every day, every hour, every- "

"i got it." renjun shut him. "but you don't need me to see your boyfriend."

"he said he wanted to meet you." lucas replied.

"to meet me?"

renjun was rather surprised by the statement.

they had been in hogwarts for a bit more than a month, and surprisingly, lucas could still bear him.

renjun was someone very sassy and pissed.

it was difficult to have a conversation with him without having him being slightly mean.

this was why renjun didn't have friends.

he was pretty fine with his loneliness.

that was his cold façade to prevent his inner sadness and problems to surface.

but lucas didn't seem to mind.

since renjun had announced him, they shared a room, lucas and him had been getting closer, becoming something like best buddies.

"yeah, he was intrigued by you." lucas shrugged, dragging his roommate once again.

"what did you tell him about me?" renjun raised a brow, not really knowing what to expect from this goofy half-blood.

"that you were a small and sassy little bitch." lucas replied, earning a groan and a small slap from renjun's tiny hand.

the two continued bickering until they reached the hufflepuff common room's entrace.

there, lucas pulled his phone out, dialling jungwoo's number, and a few seconds after, the door opened, revealing a smiling boy.

"lucas!" he squeaked, jumping into his boyfriend's arms and hugging him tight.

"hello, beautiful." lucas smiled, dropping a kiss onto his boyfriend's cheeks before allowing him to pull away.

"and you must be the cute, tiny and adorable friend lucas told me about!" the hufflepuff said, holding his hand out for renjun to shake.

the first-year student raised a brow, looking at lucas for a slight second.

"i guess that's me..." he said, shaking jungwoo's hand.

"i am very happy to meet you! lucas said so much good things about you!" jungwoo beamed. "come in! we'll have a sit in the common room."

renjun stared at lucas as the taller flushed a bit.

he didn't expect his boyfriend to tell renjun the exact same words he had used to introduce him.

but renjun was quite happy. he felt like he wasn't that alone anymore, he had a friend who appreciated him for who he was.

renjun followed lucas and his boyfriend, smiling slightly when jungwoo pulled a yellow armchair for him to sit in.

"thanks." he said sitting as jungwoo jumped on his boyfriend's lap on the couch nearby.

renjun rolled his eyes as his roommate and his boyfriends cuddled while having a conversation, trying to include renjun in the best they could.

jungwoo did it easily, he was a hufflepuff after all, and they were known to be friendly and opened.

"lucas told me lots of good things about you!" jungwoo said.

"yeah, how about we change topics."

"are you shy?" jungwoo poked his cheeks. "aww, look at your flustered face!"

"am not!" lucas argued back.

the two boys bickered under renjun's eyes, the small chinese sighing in despair after a few minutes.

"you're so in love it hurts to look at it." he mumbled, catching the attention of jungwoo.

"do you have someone you love too?" he asked.

"nope." renjun replied.

"renjun is a lonely bird." lucas added.

"that's so sad..." jungwoo pouted. "life is so much better when you're in love..."

it was true that renjun's life wasn't the best.

his mother was sick, and he was very worried about her.

his father was too busy with ministry of magic to care about his family.

he didn't have much friends, let alone a lover.

"i don't feel like i need one." renjun shrugged.

"you didn't feel like you needed a friend either, and you're happy that i am here." lucas replied.

renjun blinked a few times.

lucas had a point.

he had never meant to befriend the giant, but it felt rather comfortable having someone to be with and have fun with.

"jungwoo!" a high-pitched voice interrupted their conversation.

the three males turned around, looking from where the voice came.

two boys appeared, one wearing the hufflepuff neck tie and the other carrying it in his hands.

"oh... are we disturbing?" the same boy asked, looking between the three boys.

"no, not at all!" jungwoo beamed. "this is my boyfriend, lucas. and this is renjun."

the two young boys waved their hands at the ravenclaws.

"guys, meet chenle and jisung." jungwoo introduced the two boys. "they're on their first year at hogwarts, just like oyu, renjun."

"nice to meet you." renjun nodded his head, giving them a small smile that they returned.

"come and have a talk with us, boys." jungwoo invited them to sit on the couches of the common room.

the two teenagers sat down, chenle's blondish hair bouncing when he plopped on the comfortable sofa.

"what were you talking about?" jisung asked, leaning back on the backrest.

"just love and things like that..." jungwoo said, cuddling into lucas' side.

"so, you've been forcing renjun to stare at you two being all lovey-dovey?" chenle raised a brow. "nice friends."

"it's fine." the ravenclaw replied.

"come with us renjun, we'll show you around so that you don't have to witness their never-stopping-cuteness."

renjun shrugged, standing up and following the happy little hufflepuff and his taller friend towards another part of the common room.

"i hope lucas doesn't talk about jungwoo as much as jungwoo talks about lucas." chenle said.

"i can bear it." renjun replied simply.

"jungwoo can't shut up about him." chenle added. "lucas this, lucas that... always."

"at least, we're two, so we can team up against him and make him stop." jisung intervened.

renjun didn't answer.

lucas did mention jungwoo a lot, but he didn't really mind.

sure, lucas also often left their dorm to go to see his boyfriend, but as long as he was happy, renjun was fine with it.

renjun had always been surrounded by people with problems, or people who didn't enjoy their life at its fullest, so, the simple fact that lucas was happy made renjun – his friend – happy.

"aren't you bothered because you have someone to talk to as well?" chenle asked

"chenle, that's some private matter." jisung rolled his eyes at the curiosity of his best friend.

"it's okay. i don't mind." renjun replied. "and to answer your question, i have no one to talk about. lucas is my only friend."

chenle stopped in his tracks, turning around and looking at the ravenclaw boy with teary eyes.

"y-you... have only one friend?" he asked hesitantly.

"huh... yes?" renjun replied, glancing at jisung who didn't seem to understand chenle's reaction either.

"that's so sad..." chenle added.

"well, i am content with very few- "

"LET US BE YOUR TWO NEWEST FRIENDS!" chenle exclaimed, pulling jisung's body closer to his and giving renjun his warmest smile.

renjun looked at the two boy that looked absolutely adorable squished against teach other, and heh allowed himself to let out a chuckle.

"okay, i'm fine with it." he said, smiling wider as the small hufflepuff bounced in excitement.
