"jisung... why did you and sungchan abandon shotaro and i yesterday...?" the chinese wizard asked with a pout, making jisung coo internally.
"we were helping some boys dealing with an argument." jisung explained.
"who?"
"jeno and jaemin were fighting." jisung told.
"na jaemin?" chenle raised a brow.
"yeah. against the boy renjun likes."
chenle's brows furrowed as he looked at his best friend.
"didn't you say he liked jaemin?"
jisung shrugged. "i don't understand anything. i think he likes them both."
"surely." chenle shrugged as well. "and who won?"
"nobody. renjun intervened."
"oh!" chenle smiled. "acting like prince charming."
"more like fairy godmother with his wand..."
chenle burst out laughing as jisung's words.
this simple sight made jisung's heart warm in his chest.
"your laugh is beautiful." he stated, flushing red when he realised what he had told. "huh... y-yeah... i mean..."
"thank you." chenle giggled.
the two best friends stayed silent for a while, exchanging timid glances.
but chenle couldn't remain silent for long, and so, he started speaking very quickly.
"you don't know what shotaro told me yesterday!"
every ounce of good mood that was held in jisung's body left at the speed of light when shotaro's name got mentioned by his best friend.
couldn't he speak about something else?
of course, not... he spent all his days with him... so he hadn't anything else to tell jisung...
"what did he say?" jisung asked, trying to sound interested but failing miserably.
plus, the fact that chenle looked like he was about to burst in excitement didn't help one bit.
"he told me he had feelings for sungchan. but shh! don't tell him!"
jisung's eyes widened like saucers at his best friend's words.
could that mean that shotaro and chenle had nothing going on together?
"wait..." jisung tried remaining calm. "you're telling me that... shotaro... likes sungchan?"
"exactly!" chenle clapped his hands.
"and sungchan likes shotaro..."
"well, that's what we have to find out." chenle replied.
"no, no." jisugn shook his head. "it's an affirmation. sungchan likes shotaro. he told me yesterday."
chenle's mouth fell open at the new information.
"oh my god!" he exclaimed. "i have to tell shotaro! where is my phone?!"
"wait- no!"
jisung wrapped his arms around chenle's waist, pulling the boy towards him to prevent him from catching his phone that was lying on the table.
chenle let out a squeak, and blushed when he landed on jisung's lap, with the younger holding him firmly.
"don't tell him anything." jisung whispered. "they should find out themselves."
chenle slowly nodded, trying to control his blush, but failing miserably.
"okay!" he jumped to his feet again. "huh... i have to go out! i'm sorry!" he squeaked before dashing out of the room, leaving a dumbfounded jisung alone in their shared dorm.

"do you realise that we're seeing each other inside the bathroom?" mark asked with an eyebrow raised and a dumb smile.
"yeah, but if jaemin finds me with you, we're both dead." donghyuck replied, the same goofy smile visible on his face.
"true."
since their official encounter in the deathly hollows room, mark and donghyuck had met a few times a day every day. one detail though, those moments they spent together were in secluded places, or at night, when everybody was sleeping.
donghyuck was aware that jaemin wouldn't be the happiest person on earth if he found out that his best friend dated his enemy's best friend – or whatever they were. not that donghyuck and mark were dating, but both boys were secretly hoping that they would be able to call each other boyfriends soon.
"is jeno okay with us?" donghyuck asked, leaning his head on mark's shoulder.
"he doesn't mind." mark replied. "i think he likes someone as well."
"for real?! who?"
"huang renjun."
"oh..." donghyuck let out.
"is there a problem?"
"no, no." donghyuck said quickly. "it's just that... he caught jaemin's eye too."
mark let out a long sigh, resting his head back on the tiled wall of the boys' bathroom.
"now this is giving them one more reason to fight."
"yeah." donghyuck nodded.
before mark could speak again, the bathroom's door slammed open, and a blondish boy entered, running to the sinks and passing his hands under the water before slapping them over his face.
"oh my god, oh my god, oh my god... what is wrong with me...?"
mark and donghyuck looked at the boy confusedly, listening to his blabber and watching him getting stressed.
"huh... is everything okay?" mark asked, catching the attention of the small boy.
"oh, i'm sorry! did i disturb something?" he asked.
"no, not at all. come with us." donghyuck replied. "i'm donghyuck, and this is mark."
"i'm chenle."
"you seem to be stressed."
chenle sat down on the floor in front of the two other boys, sighing deeply.
"i have wired feelings..." he said.
"what does that mean?"
"i'm not supposed to feel like this when it comes to my best friend!" chenle exclaimed.
donghyuck approached the boy whose eyes were slowly filling with tears.
"hey, calm down..." he said in a motherly voice. "what kind of feelings are you talking about?"
chenle may have encountered these two boys a few minutes ago, he felt like he needed to open. perhaps that having strangers in front of him will help him having a real advice, given by someone whose opinion wasn't biased.
and so, that's what he did.
he explained everything to the two boys.
from his encounter with jisung to the start of their friendship.
he told them about the best times they had together.
he told them about their wizardry lessons at chenle's house.
he even told them about shotaro and sungchan, and how he had gotten closer to the japanese these days.
and he finished by his feelings, and the way his cheeks would redden suddenly when he saw jisung, or how his heartbeat would accelerate when jisung paid attention to him.
he told them every single detail.
and he wasn't expecting this answer one bit.
"chenle, nothing is wrong with you..." mark reassured him.
"you just fell in love with your best friend..."
