Sira's pov

I stepped out of the train to see a large man swinging a lantern yelling" First years come with me, first years come this way!" A large scraggly beard covers his face as i saw harry rush over to the man so i follow swiftly behind." Hagrid." Harry says and the big man who i could assume was Hagrid nodded to him in greeting. He directed us to the boats and i slowly sit down in it. The boat shifted foward on the inky black water that radiated a subtle chill of magic. The boat itself felt warm with magic. Almost everything radiated with some sort of magic in this place. Soon the castle came into view and a surge of different magic flooded through every fiber of my being. I struggled to remain upright as my body adjusted. Harry grabbed me and asked" you alright sira?" I nod" i just didn't expect that much magic, can't you feel it?" Harry shakes his head and i put my hand where his soul is and i let some of the strange magic out into it and he gasped slowly. The feeling subsided within a few minutes and i could breathe easier. I decided to let my hair turn it's fiery red slowly through the year so no one noticed and my eyes would stay the same unless something happens. The boats ground against the shore and i took it as our que to get off. I stood and hopped off the boat with ease. I helped those who were struggling off. Hagrid led us inside once we were all off. Hagrid stopped us at a massive pair of doors that i could hear so much noise behind. He walked inside and that was when every student exploded with chatter. Within a minute my sensitive hearing started to struggle under all the strain. A girl with long blondish hair grabbed me, seeing my struggles and asked" you ok?" I nod" its just so loud, i'm not used to this much noise." She nods" i'm Hermione Granger, whats your name?" " Sira Dragonflame and its a pleasure to meet you." She nods" i know so much about Hogwarts from Hogwarts: A History." I nod" can you teach me a basic spell or two before we go in?" She nods" a simple one is the lock opening spell" she pulls out her wand and does a flourish with her wrist and says" Allohamora." I nod and copy her flourish and i pull my magic through the wand as i say" Allohamora." It sparks at the end which i smile at, telling me that i had achieved the spell. I chuckle" thanks Hermione, i needed that." She nods" your welcome Sira, besides you were struggling with the noise, it was the least i could do." I nod with a smile as the doors open and a woman in an emerald green robe and a pointed hat steps out. She explains that we would be sorted into our houses soon after we enter the hall. Ice creeped into my soul as i clutch my robe in desperation for one of my brothers to be here. We walk into the bedazzled hall that had candles near the roof and on the tables as lines of golden plates and empty seats lined the 4 tables. I heard warnings of hoping they didn't get into Slytherin. Whatever it meant i felt a foreboding feeling creep into my soul at the thought of it.
