Back with (Y/N), the group noticed that the Monkeys didn't follow them. Sam commented that they must be afraid of the dark. But then he noticed it was getting darker as they went further into the cave. They couldn't see a thing. But, while looking into the darkness, (Y/N) thought she saw a way out. There was a light at the end of the tunnel. It wasn't a way out but they finally had light. Fireflies. Professor X was happy to see them as he hadn't seen them in ages. The fireflies made a pair of lanterns on the sails so they had more light.

(Y/N) then asked where they were heading now. The Fireflies made a compass telling them that they were heading North-West and that they could take the cave to Ultron's castle. They all formed a plan to sneak into the castle and free Tony, Vision, and T'Challa. Peggy was so happy with this plan, she hugged Steve which made him blush a little. But they suddenly got to a fork in the cave with two different ways to go. Professor X asked where they should go now.

The fireflies headed in the tunnel to the right so they followed. (Y/N) thanked the Fireflies which suddenly turned into Ultron's head. He made them go faster down the tunnel before disappearing into the tunnel. The group found themselves outside but not at the Castle. They were near a waterfall. (Y/N) told Professor X to turn around but he couldn't. The current was too strong.

Steve used a rock that they would use for the Anker to try and stop or turn them around. It did both. But one of the lines was starting to come loose on the sail. Peggy saw this and took it before the sail could hit Steve. Steve caught the sail stopping at the corner of his eye and he looked to see who had stopped it. Peggy. He tried to reach out for her as the boat started to go over the edge. But there was no stopping it now. They were going over. They fell all the way to the bottom but their fate was clouded by fog. Ultron had forced Tony, Vision, and T'Challa to watch what happened and to let that be a lesson to not mess with him.

Little did any of them know that (Y/N) had survived. They all did. Hurt maybe but alive. But it was clear using Professor X as a boat wasn't an option anymore. But there was someone missing. Peggy. They called out to her but they got no reply. Goose meowed to them when she found her. But Peggy had been smashed. She was only made of China and China breaks. Steve felt guilty for letting this happen. He swore to protect her back in Dainty China County and now look what's happened.

But (Y/N) felt the most guilty. She let Peggy come with them knowing that she had a high chance of breaking. Goose comforted her. But (Y/N) didn't greave for long. She started to walk away with Goose. Sam asked her where she was going. She was going to confront Ultron herself. She didn't want anyone else to get hurt. Steve refused to let her go alone but (Y/N) ordered him to stay behind. And she left with Goose to the castle.

Ultron finally saw that they had all survived the fall. He was annoyed that they managed to escape the Monkeys and survive his waterfall trick. His Monkey companion was nearby hoping not to be punished. But Ultron turned to him and yelled at him for failing. If it wasn't for him, (Y/N) would've been dead by now. So, Ultron took away his wings as punishment before telling him to prepare the welcome mat for (Y/N). Back at the bottom of the waterfall, Steve was still greaving over Peggy. Really, he didn't know what else to do.

Sam walked up behind him, "Is there anything I can do?"

"Yes. Get some help," Steve told him

"How?"

"Oh, I don't know, smart guy! Figure it out!" Steve snapped, "Forgive me."

Sam started to think. There's really no way to get out of there besides where (Y/N) went. They can't go back up the waterfall. Well, only he can. He went to a clear space and tried to get his wings working again. It took a second but he was soon off the ground. He could fly again!

"You're flying," Steve said turning to him shocked, "You're flying!"

"I am? I am!" Sam said just as shocked, "I mean, I mean, it's been a long time. I will find help, but I don't know how long I can stay up."

"Believe in yourself, soldier. (Y/N)'s life depends on it!"

"Sir. Yes, sir!"

So, Sam flew off to get help leaving Steve and Professor X alone. Steve turned back to Peggy and tried to figure out a way to fix her up. There wasn't anything that they brought with them. All Steve brought was marshmallows from Candy County. He decided to see if they were sticky enough to put Peggy back together. He started picking up the pieces.

'Never told you but I meant to before I could begin,' Steve put Peggy down somewhere once he had all the pieces, 'Even then,' he started pitting the pieces together, 'I loved you even then. See my heart is scared of places that it's never been. But even then,' he got a melted marshmallow and started putting Peggy together, 'I loved you even then. If my voice should start to tremble. If I am shaking. I love you now like I loved you even then.'

'Even if it's uphill now,' (Y/N) said making her way to the castle

'See my heart is scared of places.'

'Even when I can't say how.'

'That it's never been.'

'Even when...'

'My heart won't stop pounding,' they both said, 'Even then. Even then.'

'I'll keep on even then,' (Y/N) said

'I loved you even then,' Steve said now finished putting Peggy together

'Even if it's uphill now. Even when there are no words how. When my heart pounds this loud. Even then.'

'If I left you I never meant to,' Peggy said waking up, 'And I won't pretend. Even then. I loved you even then.'

'If I just knew how to show you. Let me try again,' Peggy and Steve said smiling, 'I love you even now. Like I loved you even then. Even then. Even then.'
