Surprise surprise i'm alive

Medix's POV

I quickly made my way to the medbay.

What was I thinking? I should have just told him to be careful like I tell everyone else, with a glare and a face-servo.

I just HAD to go mom on him...
Embarrasing.

I know I told him to not come to the medbay but part of me wishes he would so I could apologize for my strange behavior.

He never came.
I mean, I don't know why i'm upset, I did tell him to leave me alone.

It's late now.. If he's smart he's recharging.
But he's not so I guanrantee he's off being stupid somewhere. (RIP)

Heatwave should be recharging now, I can leave my room without getting caught.
I opened my door and carefully stepped into the hallway.

I'm leaving because I suddenly remembered I left one of my books in the lounge, not because the author needs me out for plot reasons.

I went to the lounge as quietly as I could, when I opened the door I nearly shrieked.
Hotshot was standing in the doorway, I think he was going to leave and I had gotten in his way..

"Medix???" He half-yelled.

I shushed him.

"Hotshot be quiet! we'll get caught! What are you doing in here?" I asked.

"Me? What are you doing here? I never found you to be a rule breaker."

"I.. left one of my books, I came to get it.."

"Oh! I saw it while I was in there-"

Hotshot reached behind him and took out the book.

"Oh- Thank you Hotshot." I took it and held it close.

He rubbed the back of his neck.

"ah, it's not that big a deal.. but you're welcome."

He suddenly seemed nervous
I've noticed he's been acting a little strange around me..

"Are you alright?" I asked, stepping closer.

He backed away.

"Yes i'm fine i'm really tired we should head to berth okay bye-" He zoomed away.

Strange.. that big dork never seems to stop confusing me.
