Your POV

I walked into the forest to find Garroth. I wonder what he wanted. He wasn't at the gates so I continued  to walk into the forest. 

"Garroth?" I called out. 

"(Y/N)? Is that you?" I herd him say. Then I turned and saw him a few feet behind me.

"Oh. Your here. So, what did you want me for?" I asked. 

"Well, uhh..." He started. Suddenly, we herd a twig snap from behind me. I turned around quick.

"What was that?" I asked.

"I-I don't know." Said Garroth. I looked behind the tree that was behind me. When looked around the tree no one was there. I herd running near by. What was there? Who was there?

"What's happening?" I asked.

"Not sure." Said Garroth as he picked up something from the tree. "Whoa. Check this out." I walked over to Garroth. There was a small notebook.

"Do you think that thing dropped it?" I asked.

"Probably. We should start looking for it." Said Garroth. I nodded. We ran into the forest to find who the victim was. 

"Hello? Anyone there?" I asked. Then I saw the person we herd running in the forest. I ran after it.

"W-What is it?" Asked Garroth.

"I think it's the person we herd." I said. Suddenly, I lost them. 

"We lost it." Said Garroth. 

"Well, maybe we should get back and examine this book." I said grabbing the notebook from him. 

"W-Wait! I need to tell you something while we're here." He said. I turned to him.

"Hm?" I asked. He blushed.

"Uh...i-it's nothing important." He said. I smiled and turned around to get back to Phoenix Drop.

When we got back to Phoenix Drop, we went into the tree fort to examine the weird notebook. This girl named Emmalyn went crazy over it! 

"Where did you find it? Where did it come from? Who's it's owner? Why?" Asked Emmalyn.

"U-Uh...we have no idea. Garroth just found it behind a tree." I explained everything.

"Hmm...it looks like it's a journal." Said a man with brown hair.

"it is?" I asked. He nodded.

"Oh! And by the way, my name is Kenmer." He said. I shook his hand.

"Uh nice to meet you! I'm (Y/N)." I said.

"We should probably find the owner of the book." Said Laurence walking over to us.

"Yeah we should." I said.

"Have you taken a look inside?" Said Laurence grabbing the book. Emmalyn shoved it out of his hand.

"What are you crazy?! This journal could be dangerous! You can't just grab it!" She said. She took a look at the journal and opened it. "Hm..."

"What do you see?" I asked her. 

"It just has a bunch of things written about people." She said. I looked at the book as she turned the pages. It was a book filled with plans about things. It had spells and names and things we didn't understand. Emmalyn gasped at the last page. 

"What? What did you find?" I asked eagerly.  She showed me the book. This is what it said:

I will get her back. I don't care what I have to do or who I have to kill but I will find her. She doesn't know her past. She doesn't know her real family. Heck, she doesn't even know me! But she will find out soon. I will track her down. And I will kill her. My little shadow.

"N-N-N-No...I-It can't be!" I said as I fainted.
